Sekhmet lounged in the sun outside the house, her cream and brown fur making an oddly-shaped splotch on the grass where she lay. She loved days like this, when everything was quiet and peacefull, they were so relaxing. She purred happily, her eyes slowly closing. She was absently thankful for her winter coat, which had been coming in for the past few weeks, it was a little bit chilly, even in the sun.

 Cosmo had spotted the sun outside and eagerly rushed to spend an afternoon in the warmth of its rays. Making his way into the grass and quickly rolling out, onto his side, the male purred instantly. The past few days had been far too chilly for his liking and he would appreciate every minute of warmth he could get. As he purred to himself and looked about, Cosmo spotted a familiar feli enjoying the temperature as well. An interested expression suddenly appeared on the orange tabby's face as he debated spending his time in the warmth, where he was, or in the company of the beautiful Sekhmet, in which he had met a few days prior. As though he did not need to contemplate the situation, the male quickly bounded in her direction, grin on his face. "Hey Sekhmet!"

Sekhmet's blue eyes flipped sleepily open, looking in the direction of the voice. When she recognized Cosmo, she scrambled to her paws and ran to meet him. "Hey, Cosmo!" She purred and rubbed her side down his, a smile plastered all over her face. "Boy, it's chilly out here today, isn't it?"
