Ok guys. I don't think you can fairly compare Lords to any other class, so we are going to comare them to the only fair competition, each other. So who do you think is best? Is it Roy and his Master Class, or maybe Emphraim and his Great Lord class? Tell me what you think. Personally, I think if you give either Hector or Eliwood Afa's Drops, then they can easily destroy anything they come across. If you love Hector, give him the Boots upgrade so he can move 7 spaces instead of only 5.

Hector is the best. I loved watching him go out there and kill all those red units and hearing seeing NO DAMAGE come up whenever some one tried to attack him.

I remember in the last chapter, that one guy with the staff Beserk'd Hector... He killed Eliwood so he got extra points for that...

Hector, Ephraim, and Ike. Put together they'd make one heck of a team.

Eliwood is plain bad
Hector is amazing
Lyn is amazing (her criticals)

Have Hector duke it out with his high attack and defense and lyn with her high criticals and speed.

I've only played three games and beaten one (bad, I know,) but I've taken Ike on a mission by himself once. No allies or anything. The mission that ends in his black knight battle. He killed everything in the entire level, and I only had to use one vulenary on him. And he grows so fast!

Lyn is the best one, she owns people and can dodge.

I'm a total freak when it comes to all the lords... so here's my breakdown of ALL of them... that I've played at least... >.<; I will be missing two and three since I have not played them... but I AM searching for the emulators for them so once I've got them I'll come back to that for y'all XD

Ok! Here we go!

Marth:
Class: Lord
From: Fire Emblem 1
Quick Synopsis:This is the game that singlehandedly turned into such an awesome series that it is today...

The game stars the Prince of Altea, Marth. After a long peace of when the hero Anri slayed the dark dragon, Medeus, an evil priest named Garnef ends up resurrecting Medeus and rebuilding the empire of Dohrua...

It looks like history is about to repeat itself in a number of ways!
Random Trivia: Fire Emblem one is where the Character Jeigan is introduced, thus this is were the all loved phrase "I hate Jeigans" Come from. Jeigan being a pre promo. The poor guy... he's got such a bad name...
Base stats:
Level confused ?? (Can't remember... been too long since I've played)
Class: Lord
Promotion: None
HP: 18
Str: 5
Skill: 3
Wpn: 5
Skl: 7
Speed: 7
Luck: 0
Def: 7
Res: 0
Movement: 7

My Opinion:
Ahh Marth... everyone's favorite Super Smash Brother's pretty boy... (Ok, joking joking!) Not that many people have actually played this guy in the original Fire Emblem. Quite frankly, I find that he's got pretty standard growth for a lord and he's not too bad. No promotion for him in this game so it's kinda sad... but hey, whatever, this was the first in the series. I'm not complaining. All in all, a little bit below standard to all the newer and more powerful lords. The SSBM version of him is actually a very pretty version of him. From the original art... he's a very pansy lookin' guy. So please for the love of Latona, please don't confuse the two.

My Rating: 7/10

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sigured:
Class: Lord Knight
From: Fire Emblem 4--- Genology of the Holy War
Quick synopsis:The second Fire Emblem game to be released onto the Super Famicon, and the first with a story that really expands and lands an impact on the player; alot more character development is featured, and a several new quirks to the world of Fire Emblem... Such as conquering more than one castle in a chapter, very large maps, repairable weapons using gold, saving on turns and being able to reload, etc... It's a grand experience!
Fire Emblem 4 features the son of Lord Byron of Chalphy, Lord Sigurd. Bandits from Verdane made an attack while Grandbell's armies were away, and now Sigurd rallies the remaining forces to drive the bandits out so he can save his friend, Edin... Little does he know what he leads himself into will lead into a tragic turn of events in the face of Grandbell..
Random Trivia: Arguably the best Fire Emblem out there, this game spans through two generations, and the supports in the first generation determine who you get in your troops in the second generation... also... AYRA RULES!!!! (Having the possibility to hit twenty ((and theoretically fourty)) times in a row? Yeah, that's awsome. Especially for a CHICK!!! )
Base Stats:
Level: 5
Class: Lord Knight
HP: 35
Power: 14
Magic: 0
Skill: 11
Speed: 12
Defense: 9
Resist: 3
Luck: 7
My Opinion:
Ahh Good ol' Sigured. A very solid lord, AND he starts off on a horse <3 which is good for mobility. His beginning stats aren't too shabby and he can hold up his own in a fight. He's a bit on the slow side and his growth is pretty standard. If one was to pitch him against one of the newer lords... I'd have to say he'd be pretty on par with most of them... Notthing really bad to say about this guy... he starts off amazingly powerful and near the end of the first gen. he's nearly unstoppable. His base resistance annoys me though...
My rating: 9/10
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Celice:
Class: Lord Knight
From: Fire Emblem 4-- Genology of the Holy War (Second Generation)
Random Trivia: Both Lief and Finn (Heros in Thracia 776) are introduced here.
Base Stats:
N/A (Can't find a site that gives them to me and I lost the emulator file for it...>.<; )
My Opinon:
Pretty mediocre guy to begin with, but add some supports here and there and he'll be as good as his dad. He's a pretty boy to boot too. His growth is amazing if you use him enough times. Put against one of the more recent lords and you've got a forefather for Ike here. XDD

My Rating: 9/10

~~~~~~~~~~~
Lief:
Class: Lord Knight
From: Fire Emblem 5 --- Thracia 776 (Cameo in FE4)
Quick Synopsis: The final Fire Emblem game to be released for the Super Famicon, and one of the last games in total to be developed for the system itself! Released in mid 1999, this was marked as the most difficult Fire Emblem game to ever be released. It features the fatigue system(Only game to use it.), a slew of characters from Fire Emblem: Genalogy of the Holy War, and many effects were heightened to increase difficulty. Also has a very high branched ranking system, going straight up to SSS rank!
Fire Emblem 5 features the son of Prince Cuan(From FE4), Leaf, fighting to regain the land of Lenstar from the forces of Thracia.. At his side are the Fiana Braves and Finn, and a twist of events at the start finally start the steps in which Leaf will finally begin his journey to regain Lenstar...
Random Trivia: My favorite of all the Fire Emblem games out so far...Thracia 776 is marked as the hardest of all the Fire Emblems out there, and I have to agree full heartedly, with the Fog Of War being introduced here and used to the point where you want to throw your computer at something. It also hosts a large amount of characters that you find in FE4.
Base stats:
Class: Lord
Promotion: Prince
HP: 18
Str: 4
Mgc: 0
Skl: 2
Spd: 3
Lck: 0
Def: 2
Mov: 6
My Opinion:
Taking a look at Lief's base stats and you start to know WHY it's such a hard game. He starts off really bad, a lot worse than when he's in FE 4... but that's cause he's older by then. Anyways, As a lord he's very mediocre, starting with really crappy stats, his growth isn't the greatest either, but you're forced to use him in every map (just like in all Fire Emblems). Upon promotion. While not being too much of afighter at first, can still hold his own pretty well. Leif has his own personalweapon, the Hikari No Tsurugi, which when used at a distance, can cast a Lightning Spell, and can be an average-strength weapon up close, it also has the ability to heal his HP to max. Once Leif has been promoted, he has thepotentinal to get high stats if you manage to bring him to Lv. 20 after-wards. Againts any of the newer lords, Lief would have a bit of a struggle because of the challenges in Thracia, but other than that, a very solid lord indeed.
My Rating: 8/10
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ok! now that all the obsolete lords are done with... crying ( you guys kinda make me sad... talking of all the ones that are so popular... makin' me feel older than I really am...>.<; ) Time for the more loved and popular Lords that everyone knows and loves!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Roy:
Class: Lord
From: Fire Emblem 6 -- Sword of Seals
Quick Synopsis:
First Fire Emblem game to be released for the Gameboy Advance. Released in 2002, this game strayed off from the path of FE4's storyline and picked up a more cartoony, colorful style to things in regards to battles, maps, and the overall game. It went further into developing story and character development, with being able to have a several characters talking at once, supports(Character conversations!) being added in, and lots of new kinks.
The game stars the son of Lord Eliwood, the Duke of Pherae on a journey to pick up the Lycia Alliance Army and fight against the army of Bern which is sweeping across the land of Elibe under the hand of King Zephiel.
Random Trivia:
Roy's featured in the popular Game Cube Game Super Smash Brothers Melee (Though extremely overpowered IMO... )
Base Stats:
HP: 18
Def: 5
Str: 5
MDf: 0
Skl: 5
Mov: 5
Spd: 7
Con: 6
Luc: 7
Rsc: 5
My Opinion:
Roy Sucks. Simple as that. I don't care what you say about him having the sealed sword and all that, even if it IS the most powerful sword in the history of Fire Emblem, it has only 20 uses. Not enough to make much of a difference. I myself have played through this game three different times, each time, giving Roy a new chance in redeeming himself... but he hasn't yet... his growth is horrid... his starting stats aren't that great, and even on promotion he isn't too great. Put him against any of the lords and personally... I believe that he'd get pwned by them real quick....
My rating: 2/10 (sorry Roy Fans out there... this guy just doesn't like me and I don't like him in return.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lyndis:
From: Fire Emblem 7--- The Blazing Sword
Class: Lord
Quick Synopsis:
Released in Japan in 2003, the game was released a few months later into the USA. This game mainly takes after everything in FE6 and basically improves on it, and puts a new spin on having multiple Lords and different routes in which you can experience how each lord feels while going through the storyline.

This game stars Lady Lyndis of Caelin, Lord Eliwood of Pherae and Lord Hector of Ostia, and the game acts as a prequel to Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals; and stars many of the characters from that game in a younger fashion. Character development is nicely furnished in this one, and the story is beautifully written though it's a tad cliche.
Random Trivia:
The first Fire Emblem game to come to America. It was quite underestimated because many of the other big releases that year, but none the less made it to America! Hurrah for that!
Base Stats:
Class: Lord (Promote to Blade Lord)
HP: 16
Power: 4
Skill: 7
Speed: 9
Def: 2
Res: 0
Luck: 5
Con: 5

My opinion:
Great lord. The way she can nearly crit everytime with the Mani Katti made me cry from the goodness. Her growth's pretty nice too and upon promotion she's crazy amazing adding the usage of the bow as well as the sword. Makes me happy... finally a girl lord... that can dodge! She's almost as great as Ayra in FE 4... Being one of the newer lords herself, she'd stand up against them pretty well, especially after promotion.

My rating: 9/10

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eliwood:
Class: Lord (Promotes to Knight Lord)
From: Fire Emblem 7 --- Blazing Sword
Base Stats:
Class: Lord
Level: 1
HP: 18
Power: 5
Skill: 5
Speed: 7
Def: 5
Res: 0
Luck: 7
Con: 7
My opinion:
Eliwood... a little better than Roy, but not by much. I ended up using Lyn and Hector a lot more. Promoting him gives him some bonuses but not that many.... Growth is pretty miserable for a Lord in my files dunno know about you guys... but yeah, one of the worst lords out there... but not as bad as Roy thank god... Compared to the other lords... he's really bad.
My rating: 5/10
~~~~~~~~~~

Hector:
Class: Lord
From: Fire Emblem 7-- Blazing Sword
Starting Stats:
Class: Lord (Promotes to Great Lord)
Level: 1
HP: 19
Power: 7
Skill: 4
Speed: 5
Def: 8
Res: 0
Luck: 3
Con: 13

My Opinion:
Powerhouse. That's the word to describe Hector. The wolf's Beil that he comes with is great on him. His growth's nice and his base stats aren't that bad. His speed and his resistance annoy me though... Other than that, a VERY solid lord that starts off powerful and ends up extremely powerful in the end. But... he isn't the god that everyone makes him out to be... take a good look at his accuracy and you'll get why. That was the most annoying thing about Hector to me... he's got great power, but not the accuracy to back it up. Compared to the other lords, I rank his usefulness next to Lief's.

My Rating: 8/10

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eirika:
Class: Lord (Promotes to Great Lord)
From: Fire Emblem 8 -- Sacred Stones
Quick Synopsis:
Released for the Gameboy Advance, this game takes a small branch off the other games, doing away with the ranking system and having a map in which your character can move around, purchase items at shops, or battle with monsters(New kinds of enemy.) and features a tower & ruins in which you can challenge yourself or build up characters.
Starting a new storyline of its own, this game starts Prince Ephraim and Princess Eirika of Renais. During an attack made by Grado, Eirika and Seth flee away from the kingdom to ensure their survival... and the fight against Grado begins.
Random Trivia:
Possibly the easiest of the Fire Emblems out there... I whizzed past this one in a quick ten hours. O.o;
Base stats:
Lvl: 1
Class: Lord
HP: 14
Str: 8
Skl: 9
Spd: 5
Lck: 3
Def: 1
Res: 1
Move: 5
Con: 5
Resc: 4
My Opinion:
Eirika, another girl lord, but not as great as Lyndis, personally, I think she's not really worth it... she levels up her Skill real quick for me. Dunno about you guys, but the crits were a good thing, especially near the end when you need to kill off strong charas. Against the other lords that this series has created, she wouldn't stand a chance in a fight against them.
My rating: 6/10
~~~~~~~~~

Ephiram:
Class: Lord (Promotes to Great Lord)
From: Fire Emblem 8 --- Sacred Stones
Base stats:
Lvl: 4
Class: Lord
HP: 23
Str: 8
Skl: 9
Spd: 11
Lck: 8
Def: 7
Res: 2
Move: 5
Con: 8
Resc: 7

My Opinion:
Starts out as a powerhouse, ends up as a powerhouse on promotion. Nothing much to say other than that. This guy just TEARS down units when trained right and given a good weapon. (though I HAVE seen him pull of two criticals with an iron weapon before...)... but since he's from an easy Fire Emblem... his rating goes down... he wouldn't stand a chance against the others from the more difficult FEs....

Rating: 7/10

~~~~~~~~~~
Ike:
Class: Ranger (promote to Lord)
From: Fire Emblem 9 --- Path of Radiance
Quick Synopsis:
Last game to be released in the series thus far, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance(Souen no Kiseki in Japan.) is a game starring the mercenary Ike.
This is the first game in the series to be released for the Gamecube, and it features incredible new additions to the continuing series as well as many old traditions! It's slated for a North America release in October 17, 2005; while having been out in Japan for a very long time.
Random Trivia:
Introduces Luguz a new race.
Base stats:
Don't have them. I've only played ten minutes of this game.
My opinion:
From my quick play at a friend's place, this guy is a freakin' powerhouse. He's extremely fast, got a good attack, growth is fast all the things that a lot of characters want... A good lord, with an amazing good Jeigan to start off with... Against all the other lords, he's on par with the best of the best.
My rating:
9/10
(Just so you know, there's no 10/10 lord... since there's no such thing as a perfect lord.)
So, there you have it, Inuko-chan's synopsis for all the lords out there. If you're going to wonder who's my favorite, I will list them here in order of favoritism.
1. Lief (Cause Thracia's Awsome and he can stand his own against in a really hard game with craptastic base stats.)
2. Ike (Who Doesn't like Ike?)
3. Lyndis (One of the two female Lords out there, extremely fast and pulling out crits more than some of the myrmidons.)
4. Celice (Cause Second Generation seemed to like me more than first generation in FE 4....)
5. Sigured (Forefather to Celice, very solid lord that's near impossible to beat in the end.)
Now I feel like I'm developing CTS from all that typing...
