Not a lot to say... plenty of tombstones, ghosts and creepy looking holes in the ground. Who knows where they come from? The ghosts know some good jokes, but they'll probably make you laugh to death. Har har har... um... oh, and there's a door behind one of the stone angel statues. Go down that staircase and you can explore a whole burial tomb for literally thousands of people! Wonder how they died... oh, yes, they're the master's zombie collection. ^_^ enjoy!

Rivera followed Kira towards the stone angel. She knew that the map guide in the mainhall said that there was a burial chamber underneath. She loved to look at arcane tombs. If Rivera were a normal human, she'd become an archeologist, specializing in dead people. Creepy thought... but it wasn't as creepy as her current life, spent practically in a body that's pretty much died twice or three times and was brought back to life each time.
"I think... it's here..." She touched the bronze, lionhead-shaped knob. It immediately came to life at her touch and tried to bite her. Rivera drew her hand back quickly, watching it freeze once more. This time, she stroked the lion's mane, keeping it calm as she turned the knob and pulled open the door.

When the stone lion had tried to snap at Rivera, Kira had drawn back his arm, fingers erect, about to knife hand the top of the lion's jaw off. Darkness dissipating from his hand, he let his arm drop back to his side. "After you..." He said, motioning with one of his arms through the open doorway. He followed her in and could smell the overpowering odor of decay and death. "Well... This is a nice little place isn't it?" He asked sarcastically, but willing to follow her further into the crypt.

The moment they entered the crypt, the door snapped shut behind them, leaving them in total darkness. Rivera raised her left hand, letting a violet light eminate from it in a soft glow, as if her hand were a crystal with a light core. With her right hand, she gripped Kira's elbow gently, following him down the stairs into the depths.
Crude coffins were slid into cubicles in the walls. The crypt contained many turns and twists, and statues of stone. Rivera's hand seemed to drip droplets of light as they went along their way, marking their passage from the door.

"I wonder if there's any Amontillado here..." Kira wondered aloud with a chuckle, walking with Rivera behind him quietly. He was joking about a story written by Edgar Allan Poe: The Cask of Amontillado. It was an old revenge tale and these catacombs were reminding him an awful lot about it. He continued along with her holding his left elbow while he walked forward and noticed something. A rack of wine! He thought in joy. He was surprised to find a few bottles of wine. "Anything you might want? I'm rather fond of blackberry and strawberry..." He said kneeling down in front of the rack with her behind him.

Rivera thought it was bad luck to take things from tombs. She knew that her own tomb was cursed to protect her until her crystal seal broke and she was released back into life. She was about to warn him when she cringed, hiding herself behind Kira. A millipied scuttled across the bottle and fell into a crevice in the ground. If there was one thing Rivera was afraid of besides large and forcible men, it was insects, larvae, worms and any other creepy crawlies. She was grateful for Kira's presence.

"Don't worry Rivera... I'm here for you..." Kira said gently. He looked at the rack of wine and took one bottle. Strawberry made in the early eighteen-hundreds, it would be nice. After stowing the bottle in a portal of darkness he turned to Rivera. "So then... Let's continue on... Maybe we'll find another way out..." He said, gently taking her hand and lifting her from her crouched position as he stood.

"I miscalculated... I forgot bugs like to live in this sort of place..." Her voice was shaky. There weren't many things Rivera was scared of. White made her nervous, but she wasn't really scared by it anymore. She was terrified of anything that resembled an insect. "Um... do you feel like... something is watching us?" She glanced around. Her left hand was stil glowing, but dimmer. Something was dampening her light spell. Creaking sounds... much like that of breaking wood, sounded around them. There were only so many wooden things in this place, coffins being the main thing. So... what exactly was watching them from that particular spot if the undead were everywhere... oh s**t... pleeeeeeeease... don't let it be a giant spider... or worse... giant catepillar...

Kira put the wine bottle down on the rack after hearing the sound of breaking wood. He raised his hand and an orb of pure light floated from the finger tips, lighting the area better. "Rivera... Calm down... I'm sure you can tell something's coming..." He told her gently. Suddenly, he heard a loud cracking noise, a crash, and the catacomb was enveloped by dust. When it cleared slightly, Kira could see the dark night sky, and the visage of an eight-legged figure stepping through the dust.

Rivera blanched. Why did she have to think about spiders and JINX the freaking place? She absolutely detested spiders. Her first reaction was to aim a lightning attack at it. Well... that did no damage... f*ck... must be one of those Balaorean Spiders she's heard of... one of those things that doesn't absorb spells and can only be killed by physical means. She stepped back further until she could feel a wall behind her to brace herself on.
Holding out her hand, she whispered an incantation. "Vener, cailanes dere Lucifere... arised tes aider lera cailana dere Chloe... Raelos, animas dere lere Viera Miyure...!" The coffins began to break again, one by one, corpses rising out from it in skelaton forms. It wasn't long before she had an army of undead. "Attaque." She commanded them. Each and every one of them piled themselves onto the creature, piercing it with their bones and bashing it with wooden splinters or metal rods. Rivera looked away. She could stand an army of the dead... but she couldn't stand to see the spider thrash.

Kira drew Koishi and whipped the blade out to his side as it transformed into a falchion. He leapt into the fray of bones and the spider beneath. The spider attempted to shake him and the corpses off but he held on. The skeletal beings flew from the spider while Kira held on to the spider's back, tightly. "Damned thing..." He muttered as he held tight and raised Koishi with one hand, then drove it through. The spider shook but failed to throw him off as he crawled the the spider's head. He raised Koishi again, and drove it straight between the spider's eyes, killing it. He leapt from the beast's back and walked to Rivera. "Are you alright?" He asked, the concern in his voice nearly palpable.

Rivera nodded slowly, putting down her hand as the bodies returned to their respective coffins and lay still again. She fell to the ground in a sitting position, her long white dress spread out around her, eerily glowing under the night sky blown into the ceiling. Her wings were folded tightly with tension and she still shook slightly. "I'm fine... just shouldn't have used that spell... " She whispered slowly. "I wasn't ready to use that..." Her eyes flickered as they tried to focus themselves. She was already feeling a little like jelly.

"You always do things you're never ready to do..." Kira told her quietly with a light smile. "And then I end up having to carry you back to your dorm or something..." He said as he picked up the bottle of wine he had found, he then swooped her into his arms, giving her the wine to hold onto, and flapped his wings twice, propelling them out of the crypt. "If you've over exerted yourself, we shouldn't be in a tomb..." He told her as he landed in the graveyard.

Rivera blushed furiously when Kira picked her up. She tried to hide her face by turning it away from him. It was a little hard. She looked strange, being carried like a large doll made of crystal or glass, or something of that sort. Ghosts drifted around her.

Kira couldn't help but smile a bit at Rivera. Her face reddening, small spirits of the departed floating around her, it was all so... Strange... So amazingly beautiful in his eyes. He remembered he was still on a clock about winning her heart so he wasted no time. "I guess we're leaving now Rivera... I absolutely refuse to let you hurt yourself in so dreadful a place..." He said simply, then started walking back towards the main hall of the mansion.
