I think he's an awesome character and can't wait to see some more flashbacks on him. And what's up with his ability to see flashes of stuff that hasn't happened yet? Anyone think it had something to do with the Hatch and radiation from the magnet or something?

but I didn't know That his full name is Desmond David Hume! Man, Locke, Hume... Rousseau... you know, I study philosophy (it's not like I want to show off with it, don't misunderstand me), and I have to learn about those people. But I don't think it has any deeper meaning that some of the characters are named like that. Hume's philosophy don't fit Desmond in my opinion... ninja
