Way to the north of Seireitei, beyond the forest, are vast plains, with rivers running through them here and there. To the east of these plains are a series of mountains and even further north, and then to the north west are mountains that seem to tower over everything.

Because of some strong force, even Yamamoto Genryusai the commander General has never passed over them yet. Only one who passes the test of the Totem may go past those mountains.

The plains also have a large marsh to the north but it's fairly easy to get through and nothing bad has ever come of it. Yet. The plains as expected are flat and vast and only before the marshes do the hills start to appear with a lonely tree watching, all the way back to Seireitei.

Coming into the plains I galloped faster and faster. I wondered whether I should try my luck in the Han tower again. It seemed appealing because of the fact that it would constantly sap away at my Reiatsu, yet also, fighting back in the training area would also be just as good. I thought about it for a moment and then headed north towards the marshes.

However, something was different and I slowed the horse. The totem was on a small mound in front of me. I looked at it, completely confused, the totem shouldn't be here...should it? The totem spoke as the horse stopped.

"Getting back to the gorge, will be harder this time. You must reach a certain level of power, and thus you must fight a series of Hollow that I have lined up for you." I looked beyond him. There seemed to be over thirty hollow, with a giant one at the very end. Not good. I jumped down off my horse.

"Then I shall begin." I said and took out Waraku. There was no way I was going to fight Hollow without her.

I looked up at my first Hollow.

Hollow: E-Class
HP: 150 (will fight to death)

Attack Bonus: 1d20+7
Total Attack: 1

Dodge: 1d20+9
Damage: 1d10+5

======================

I held Waraku out slightly the thing was strong, but I hoped that I was a little stronger than it. I ran forwards and jumped in the air, a plain and simple attack, that was quite neat in what it did if you were accurate enough.

The hollow however, had other ideas and jumped back. There was a distinct possibilty that this thing was actually stronger than me.

The hollow had dodged to the side. I growled. It was actually quite fast for what I had anticipated. I closed my eyes listening for a moment and heard it rush forwards at me. I opened my eyes just as it was driving a fist straight at me, it was humanoid, but more ape like in shape.

I jumped up. There was no way I could let it attack, and it hitting me like this wouldn't be good for my moral, especially since further up it would be a lot harder to compensate for.

I landed on the ground again behind the Hollow and I watched its movements. When it attacked it wasn't very accurate, yet it was fast at dodging. I frowned, how would I be able to beat this, I'd have to lead it into a trap or something. I ran forwards again straight at the hollow aiming to touch it.

The hollow seemed to sense my presence, albeit in a blur, but still it shot of forwards recognizing that I was behind it. I'd have to deal with it quickly, so far my attacks had missed and I couldn't let this happen again.

Again I missed and I jumped back. It was definately not my day at all. Even landing a hit would be an impressive feat against this monster. I couldn't exactly use my Shikai at this point because it would be useless and I had no secondary Bankai to back me up.

"Tasty..." The demon said as it charged me again. It swiped out with its huge arm. Why couldn't it have started off a little smaller.

I jumped back to avoid the slash so that I could get a better opening straight into it's torso.

The thing missed again. That I was thankful for. I charged forwards again though. I'd have to land a hit sometime, and I hoped that sometime would be now, because I couldn't particulary think of a decent stratergy at this point.

The hollow was still quite clever though and proceeded to try and jump me to avoid my attack, much the same as I had done to it. So it was copying my techniques was it?

The thing narrowly missed my touch, but I couldn't let this go on forever. I would either A) have to land a hit or B) pull out from this. It seemed almost the same as the Golem, yet I needed to be able to hit it, and I needed to be able to do it fast.

The hollow came flying back at me from behind me, as I turned around to face it again. Why was it so fast?

1d20+7

I thought about my range of options and decided to use Shunpo, it may not have been the most perfect of evasion techniques but it served my purpose as I jumped out of its way.

I norrowly dodged the damn thing by about five inches. I turned on my heel and ran straight towards the monster again with my blade held slightly back. This indeed was a stronger hollow and I needed to break it down.

The hollow too sensed the need to eat me first since it licked its lips jumped.

I jumped back away from it, past the totem, "There's no way I can combat that thing just yet." I murmured, it was far bigger than me, and far far stronger. I sighed, turned and ran. Captain level...i wasn't it, just yet. I'd have to work harder in order to get into the gorge again, and this meant returning to soul society to train. I sheathed Waraku climbed my horse and fled back to Inuzuri in order to train myself
