i rented a movie from Lions Gate films the other day. Now Granted i knew it was going to suck, thats why i rented it. I wanted a cheesy B- movie to have some fun with, but Holy Crap was i unprepared for what i rented. It was called War of the Planets and the gist of the movie is a group of astro's go looking to colonize a new planet but end up crashing on some random planet. bad acting can make an 90 minute pilot seem like 4 hours.

I think that bad movies are like bad books, or bad cooking, or bad anything else. Someone finds a cookiecutter mold for a plot or a recipe that works functionally well, and it gets used over and over until it's so dried up and moldy that it's rendered a 'classic'.

Any horror movie out today has the same concept as every other movie. It kinda gets old after a while when you see the same skit, plot, and story. Even the characters pretty much play the same role to.

Most horror movies from after 2001. For your sanity and mine, stop using that damned CGI!
Pearl Harbor sucked rather badly. I paid money to see people blow places up, not get 2 hours of Josh Hartnet getting laid, and half an hour of bombs being dropped.
That's pretty much all I can think about for crappy movies at the moment.

This won't make a lot of sense, but I didn't like The Mist. It was a great movie, and the ending was awesome, but I didn't like the ending. It was so sad. But I love it at the same time.

anyone remember Harold and Kumar go to White Castle? as much as my a** was laughed off it was still a pile of crap. oh and i absolutely hated 30 Days of Night.
