The Parisian Ecumenical NTD Informational Symposium (p***s) was a great thing in my opinion. More people really should be aware of the potential dangers of neural tube defect (NTD), and I think that p***s did a really good job of putting the information out there. I mean, NTDs are some of the most common birth defects that cause infant mortality and serious disability. I think there need to be more groups like p***s that inform the public about things like NTD.
EDIT: Did anyone actually get to Paris for p***s? I couldn't get any p***s, since p***s wasn't aired in the US. I got to read about what happened with regard to p***s, but that's it. I'd really like to see p***s someday, but I heard there won't be anymore p***s until 2007. crying

I'm just hoping someone skimming through JoVo's posts catches "there won't be anymore p***s until 2007." There would be riots.
Men are brain dead and deformed women with the genitalia flipped inside out. In the best possible way, of course. I knew I should have gotten that etching of a fish riding a bicycle.

Keithing I'm just hoping someone skimming through JoVo's posts catches "there won't be anymore p***s until 2007." There would be riots. LMAO! And men aren't brain dead. We just decided to socially urge women to become adept at all the things that now make for better human beings. In contrast, all the socially acceptable things that are pushed upon us as men were great for us as hunter-gatherers-warriors, but suck for civilized society. Thankfully, I was raised by a single, uber-masculine mother. It's turned me into a crazy feminist tomboy who happens, albeit ironically, to have a p***s.

Montigo Dominic Keithing... I never knew you disliked the Male Genitalia so much, condsidering I would assume you have some I don't think Keithing dislikes the male gentalia as much as I do, considering he's gay and I'm a wanna-be lesbian who occasionally gives in to the overwhelming power of the p***s. sad

Behold, the mighty fireman! If you rub his helmet, he'll spit in your eye.
Mmm...p***s.... and Peter Rabbit. Sex and the bunny. In the city.
So is this p***s an actual conference?
Wow, a strong mom, eh? That kind of reminds me of when there's a transvestite in comics or anime, that everyone calls 'mom' and has stubble. Um...random thought, nothing to do with actual mothers, or p***s, other than that's a 'mom' with one.

She said she was too and that we should get together sometime and rub our vaginas. I was like, "Ok, but I'm a male lesbien." It was fun...I think...

Keithing... I never knew you disliked the Male Genitalia so much, condsidering I would assume you have some, or else I misread that post and in regard to fish riding a bicycle... In what context? Like I said, "In the best possible way." It was an exaggeration people. I can only be completely serious for so long. I never took you for a social constructionist, JoVo. In the normal development of the male fetus, the Y chromosome triggers a higher concentration of testosterone to wash through the body, altering the very structure of the brain, continuing to shape it through childhood. Male and female brains are inherently different. Most males usually have one hemisphere of their brain that is more developed than the other for, among other things, communication and spatial organization (good for hunters, who are usually warriors by default anyway). While females typically have brains that are balanced and share the weight of tasks between right and left. Though I agree it was a necessary adaptation it was as much biological as it was social, like most things about us are. You did misread the post a bit, Montigo. The slogan on the poster was the classic "A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle." I for one am no female, but I do appreciate many feminist sentiments. That being said it does not say "men without men," which makes me exempt from that statement. I don't hate penises, I just got really sick of my art history prof talking about all the phallic symbols (esp. the cone in architecture) in Mesopotamia. You can only take so many snapped clay cones, towers, and mountain-ziggurats, and still find it humorously lewd.

Keithing I never took you for a social constructionist, JoVo. Well, social re-constructionist would be more accurate. But yeah, I don't pretend that there aren't physiological differences between men and women, but I question whether a woman can't effect the same psychological givens as a man and vice-versa. Most of the modular development in the brain occurs during the first years of childhood, and major psychological changes can be effected during this time. It's why my mother beats up her husband, and it's why I swing both ways rather comfortably.
