At the edge of the cemetary stands a huge, broken down old house. With four collums out front of the apparently 4-story building, it's got a distinctly Southern plantation look.
But int he tradition of all the best haunted houses, it's much different inside. Althought the front room doesn't change, the res of the house is constantly shifting and growing, making it easy to get lost if you don't spend a lot of time there to get used to it. Or unless you can walk through walls, of course.
The front hall is overhung with a dusty, unlit chandelier that occasionally glitters from the sunlight theat peeks through the half-boarded windows and French doors. There is a stiarcase ahead of you that leads up to the rooms fo the house, but other than tha, anything can change!
((Okay the way I'm going to do this is such: If you'd like to take up habitation in the haunted house, write out a description of a room to post on the front page and you're in. OR, if you just have a really cool idea for a room, like the upside down office in Rose Red, or something like that, write it up and w'll add it! ^^))

Crow padded up to the doors of the dilapidated-looking old house, blinking golden eyes up at the boarded windows. The doors hung from their hinges, practically, and left the entryway wide-open. He looked back down at the whitehaired girl clinging to his arm. "What do you think, Clayr? Think anyone will want to bother us here? Looks pretty deserted to me ..."
Clayr looked up at the house through her hair, her eyes wide and round. She studied the front of the house for a long moment before nodding. She looked over at Crow and took a timid step forward, tugging on his hand.
He smiled, warmly, and murmured, "Anxious to get settled in there, huh? Me, too, it's a little cold out here. Lets go. And I'll get that door straightened out first thing." He squeezed her hand gently and stepped up, leading her inside the large house behind him.

Faye looked up at the house that loomed in front of her, a slight frown on her pale features. She crossed her arms over her chest with a look of distaste and slowly looked over her shoulder at the boy who'd brought her here. She didn't look impressed in the least but the boy with her didn't sem to be too bothered by the glare that she was giving him.
"C'mon it'll be fun. I know you won't get scared by anything in here but at least give it a chance okay?" Xulu took her hand, motioning for her to start walking with him into the haunted house of the underground.
"Let go of my hand or I'll bite you." Faye scowled, slowly walking up the steps.

Crow looked around the building, having led the girl to the landing of the third floor, up the middle staircase of the great hall. "It's so big, we could g wherever we want and still never be noticed, even if there were people around!"
Clayr smiled lightly, nodding and, suddenly, tugging him down one dark corridor. She'd seen a catdart across the hall, and went after it, gasping excitedly at the thought of having a pet.
Crow laughed softly, stumbling behind her. "Okay, okay, just slwo down we don't want to get lost yet, huh?"

Faye gingerly pushed the front door inwards and took a step inside. A light of curiosity came to her when she saw that the way was lit by candles and she smiled ever so slightly, glad that her sensetive eyes wouldn't be bothered by electric lights. She felt her hand being tugged and looked over at Xulu in confusion.
"Shouldn't we... yanno leave a trail or something to make sure that we can find our way back out?" The dark haired boy said with a nervous smile.
"Chicken." The pale girl deadpanned, continuing forward and then taking a hall down to the left that had blood red carpeting underfoot.

Clayr stopped dead suddenly, eyes darting around. She hadn't heard or seen anyting, down the dark corridor, but there was someone in the house.
Crow nearly ran into the little blonde, but stopped short just in time, cocking his head lightly and watching her. "Clayr? Clayr, what is it?"

Xulu nearly walked into Faye when they reached a dark oak door that led down to a basment. The boy reached out to touch the knob and instantly pulled away, shaking his hand from the cold chills that it shot through his body. He turned to say something to his companion and was startled by the way she was staring up at the ceiling. When he looked up he couldn't see anything but Faye moved away from the basement door to search for a set of stairs leading up to another floor.
"I smell old blood... and fear." She murmured, resting her hand against the wall and wipping away a bit of dirt as she walked. "I think...someone might have died here."
"More like a bunch of someones..." Xulu muttered, rubbing the back of his neck to make the hairs there stop standing on end.

Clay pulled out a litle beaten-up notepad with an elastic strap on it's bind that held a pen. She tugged the pwn out and scribbled, quickly, 'There's someone else in the house.'
Crow frowned, nodding gently and let her tuck her notpad away before wraping his arms around her. "It's all right. Just close your eyes." HE did the same and they became suddenly transparent, as if their bodies were made out of smoke. Crow stepped back through the wall and drew Clayr with him, into a pitch black room. When he reached out to try and go back the other way, the wall was nowhere to be felt. " ... s**t. Now what have I done?"

Xulu's features paled and he put an arm around Faye, ignoring the glare that he was given for doing so. She stepped closer to him when she realized that he was trying to focus on something inside the house and reluctantly pulled her hand away from the wall.
"Someone's here."
"Someone friendly?" Faye asked, reaching up her sleeve for the garrott wire she kept there.
"We need to go upstairs... NOW!" Xulu replied, trying to be gentle as he pulled her after him up the nearest set of stairs.

Clayr gapsed sharply, hearing voices so close in the darkness and buried her face into Crow's chest, squezing him tightly. If she could have spoken, she would have likely let out a sharp, terrified squeak.
Crow squeezed her back, baring his teeth and glaring out iinto the dark. The sound of receding footsteps made him lose someof the tension in his back and he relaxed, jsut slightly. "Shh .... it's all right Clayr, they're leaving, I won't let them hurt us."

As Xulu was taking Faye up the stairs he could feel his steps getting lighter. He could feel his hair stand on end as something shifted the reality around him and he squeezed Faye's hand to make sure she wasn't about to get lost. Just as his hand was starting to squeeze around hers he felt a sudden loss of mass in his palm. He twisted to look over his shoulder and nearly shrieked, finding Faye was gone.
"Stupid human, I don't need my hand held..." Faye muttered, scaring Xulu as she was now in front of him. Walking lighter than a human was something she took a little pleasure from when it frightened Xulu.
She put her nose to the air and motioned for Xulu to keep up, following her nose into the darkness to find who was upstairs.
"I swear if there are dead bodies in here I'm so freakin' out of here."
"I'm undead, does that mean you'll leave me alone?"

As the footsteps retreated bac upstairs, Crow smiled, softly stroking Clayr's hair back. "See? All gone. No monsters down here but me." He winked a luminous golden eye down at her, but she still seemed shaken up. Until either they or their unwanted visitors were out, she'd be on the edg of hysteria.

There was a crash from the upstairs and Xulu came down headfirst, using his arms to catch himself on the railing and try to at least be gentle as he got to the bottom. He protected his head from the fall and scrambled upright, meaning to head back up to Faye.
"Is it dead?"
"Ghost!" Faye's normally controled voice was high with fear as she jumped over the railing to get away from whatever she'd seen.
She raked her hands through her hair, what little heart beat she had speeding up as Xulu tried to get her to calm down. When he reached out to her she screeched, bringing her arms up to shield herself.
