Wandering again, close to the Pridelands again. In the Pridelands lay Jini and Siltim, two of her mortal friends, who would think...that she'd have mortal friends, even just having friends was remarkable to her. Jini was soft, kind shy, he helped comfort her, SIltim gave her the chance to forget, see the beauty in the Pridelands, wash away her anxieties from her mind.
But now...now, they were all coming back.
The nightmares, the images, the screams and memories long since past, the ones Ryu'Rage wished to push away, forget for all eternity, but they were still there, they were still there, lingering, torturing her from the inside, eating away at her mind and body. She was on the borders now, she didn't wish to search out Jini or Siltim, not just yet. She didn't wish to bother them every moment she had a dilemma, which happened most of the time. She wanted them to have happy lives, not worry about her.
But Rage could feel her control snapping, slipping away more and more each day. She needed to focus, concentrate, train. She needed control, the one thing she lacked and wished for the most. She feared what may happen, if her control slipped even further into the endless abyss of darkness within her body.

That was strange....Just recently the cub had ran into a Maned Wolf, those he had never seen before. He had only seen prey breasts and lions, mostly his family. It was strange. It was as if the wolf knew what was gonna happen...was he...no, Dumu knew that only those "touched" by Gods could obtain that power. But...who was he?
The demi-god walked the path through the peaceful Pride Lands, it was safe here and that is the reason why his mother finally decided to let him roam free. Dumu was strong for a cub, at least he could take care of himself for a while. But he got a sinking suspion that someone was watching him, was that why she left him go? Either way, he was free and able to do as he pleased.
Though, something in his mind startled him occassionally. He kept picturing strange things at night, things with no explaination or identification. It was a glass object, two bulbous ends with sand pouring from one side to the other. Another was two roud rigged objects, turning, stop, and turn the other way. What did they mean? Dumu was still young, his abilities were undeveloped and his mind was just growing more.
He sighed to himself, there was no one around here, and the sun was still up. Was he gonna go home? No, he finally got out again and he was gonna enjoy it if it is the last thing he did. Last time he ran into another cub, but what he saw in him was something he never wanted to see again. That dark, blue, armored, monster....what....was...it? His mind was plagued with these thoughts, sometimes he couldn't sleep.

Staring downward, silver hues upon the grass that swayed from the gentle push from the wind kept her occupied. Where to go? What to do? She couldn't help anyone, not in a way others she met could, like Ameh and K'Anatak, they seemed pure of heart, she, huh, Rage was a monster, deep down she knew she was a monster.
But what could stop her?
Oh yes, him. But she hadn't caught up with him yet, to train, to spar, nothing yet, just here, alone, feeling something twist and turned within her. Something was coming, someone, a scent upon the wind, gracefully carried over this part of the Pridelands. She raised her head and peered around. A small silouette, a shadow, like her, smaller, well, not like her. What COULD be like her? Nothing. That she was convinced.
Were they coming this way? Perhaps they would pass by, but if it was a cub, she knew they were curious, she would've been curious as a child if she still had her family when young, but they left her so soon, she knew nothing of childhood like others would. "Pass on child..." she whispered to herself, only loud enough for her to hear, she hoped her silent words might have the small figure pass on. SHe could already feel the control slipping, anything could push her over the edge.
But another part of her wanted company. Torment, what to do?

Dumu was following the path, there was no point from deterring from it. There was nothing around. At least the walk would give him some time to think.
The gears are moving back...they are changing. The sand is pooring away, shrinking...am I running out of time? Is something going to change? What did it all mean?... And does it always happen when Al is around? Why does it-
He cut off in the midst of his thoughts when his heard hurt. Someone was near, he didn't need to use his nose. His mind told him everything he needed to know. Someone was near and he was gonna go say hi. At least that would give him something to do.
After determining the general direction (that is the best he could do with his mastery of his abilities), he moved from the path, through the grass, to "it". He kept telling himself it was someone friendly, someone who wanted no harm. Usually it worked, that is how he met Umo. However, he had to keep in mind that not everyone is as they seem, especially those who are rude to him. Rude ones deserve no respect from him.
He emerged forth and looked around, nothing. Looking down, he saw that his shadow was unusually larger than him. Looking up he saw her, the black fur of a Goddess. Another one? How many were here? First was that dark, blue, armored, monster from his vision and now here is an actual Goddess. It would be best to say hi.
Dumu raised his paw and smiled, "Hi."

Seems her wish did not come true. The shadow came closer, and when closer she noticed his pelt was dark red, not as crimson as her own markings or feathers, but that was just fine with her, the less crimson blood color, the better. Though it was deep red, the darkness within her stirred a bit. She did not smile, she still couldn't, but held a 'friendly' gaze in her eyes, "Hello, what brings you this way?"
Ryu'Rage tucker her wings by her sides a bit, but they still stuck out somewhat, the black and crimson tipped feathers touching the hard earth beneath her form, "I do apologize, I cannot smile as you can...not yet anyway..." she hoped the child would understand, he seemed...different, then other lions she had met. What was it? She couldn't place it. Things stirred in her mind.
Breaking, pulling tugging, growls within her, she tried surpressing them, she did not wish to rampage, not yet, she wanted peace, she never seemed to have peace for long, "What is your name?" she was curious, wished to know. This cub seemed to have strength and courage, out on his own at such a young age? It was admirable.

Dumu looked up to the other lion, if that is what one would call her, her body was large, dark, tainted with a dark red. It was eerie looking at them so he pushed them aside and returned his gaze up to the Goddess' eyes.
"Apparently you did, Ryu'Rage. Forgive me, but I tend to know names before I even meet the feline. A bad habit I am trying to kick. It is rude, but I would feel stupid to ask your name when I already know it. Besides, it would be a lie if I did."
Dumu shrugged and sat down on his rum, his tail curled around his paws. He did have that habit, it was probably the only part of his abilities that didn't require touch. He often would get a short pain and instantly hear the name in a conversation to be had or has had. It was strange. But it would be a lie if he asked for another's name when he already knew it.
"No need to apologize, you don't have to smile if you don't want to...or in this case, can't. But since I know your name, mine is Yadumugandama, Dumu if you would. I got a feeling that I would meet you and well...here I am."
He said, sitting up, spreading his arms out to show him and where he was. Right there. He was a cub still, one would have to keep that in mind.
"Now, could I ask you more about yourself?"

Rage tilted her head at Dumu, a young cub and already knew of her name? The darkened half of her growled on the inside, he knew her full name, ah well, he didn't seem to know the translation, which kept the darkened beast repressed down within her own self.
"So smart when so young," perhaps he was a seer, had to be, he knew her name and he had a feeling he would meet her? But...he didn't know what she was.
Perhaps he was the spawn of a god, but god's and goddesses when mated had god cubs, perhaps his family was of both worlds, immortal and mortal, interesting concept. Rage had never thought of that before.
"About myself? There are things about myself I do not even approve of Dumu, I do not know what would be appropriate to tell you, but perhaps I can tell you something," she thought for a moment, glanced up at the sky, perhaps her domain? Hmmm, would be good for now, perhaps then Dumu might know to be cautious, "I'm the goddess of Rage, if that is any interest to you Dumu..."

"Goddess of Rage, I would assume you are a Goddess by the wings you carry upon your back, but the domain of "rage" is rather unexpected...You don't seem like the one to bear that one. Maybe Darkness or something, but Rage? You don't look like you would hurt someone."
Dumu replied when his ears perked. What did she just call him? She didn't....she couldn't have...but she did. She called him short, she called him young replying to short. She called him short....to his mind, that was rude. It was one of the high offenses to him. She had committed it.
Dumu's ear twitched, and scowled.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING YOUNG!? ARE YOU SAYING I CAN'T BE SMART IF I AM YOUNG!? IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!? FOR YOUR INFORMATION I AM PLENTY SMART AND I AM NOT SHORT!"
He exploded, just like the times before whenever he felt someone was implying he was sort. Any thing that he could find that would imply, he would lash back at. If this Goddess didn't know that...well, she knew now.

Her silver eyes narrowed, darkness coiling up within her blood, how dare he speak to her in that manner. She wasn't calling him short, the hell she was, she was comlimenting him, he took it the wrong way, and she didn't appreciate it one bit, "I was not implying that you can't be smart when young, I'm not calling you short, I'm complimenting you on your gifts Dumu," she stood up so her form towered over him, her wings outstretched, eyes still narrowed glaring down at him.
"Darkness lives in my body, rage is what I am, if I were you Dumu, I would lower your voice, I don't appreciate you judging my words so quickly. You're smart Dumu, so be smart enough to know your place..." she said with a slight growl. He was acting like he was hte highest of them both, Rage thought as herself as nothing, least, one part of her did, the other thought of herself as a being of pure strength, but DUmu, this child, was pushing her limits.
He believed she wouldn't hurt someone, pity, had he known she had lashed out at that white baffoon of a god that tried to help ehr, who brought the memories back to her. How she had wished to kill him, spill more of his blood, but he got away, and she didn't want to deep down, Rage didn't want to kill, she just wanted control.
But Dumu with his words wasn't helping, she could feel herself slipping. Perhaps he would calm down now, or at least, that's what Rage hoped. Her tail flicked to the side, her eyes watching him intently, he seemed familiar in a way, that color, she had seen it before...

Dumu growled, his hackles rose when Rage decided to get up and talk down to him. Another impyling moment? She was looking down to him now, she was talking down to him now. She was pushing him, it was not him, it was her. If she stopped to think about what she was saying, this would not be much of an issue...unless Dumu blew it out of proportion.
"And the darkest memories of my family and many others remain in my mind. I've seen the darkest deeds, I've seen them all. Your darkness could not compare to what I have seen at my age. And I am smart and I know my place. Where is yours Rage? Are you not a lion like I? Do you not breath the same air? Walk the same ground? See what I see? The only thing that seperates you and I is your immortal status just like my father. You Immortals have to understand you are living just like everyone else, you are no better, you are no worse until you make that obvious."
DUmu lashed back, still growling at her. He didn't care if he got hurt, sure he'd hold a grudge later down the path, but he wouldn't care at the moment. His father would ask how he got hurt and from who and take care of it, but no, Dumu wasn't gonna let his father get involved. He had his own problems to take care of.
The demi-god was mere inches away from invaiding her privacy. If she spoke another word about this subject, imply anything at all, he will dive into the deepest cavities of her mind and expose everything she tried to lock away inside. He will let out all her secrets, her memories, her thoughts, her dreams, everything.

Her silver eyes glared at him now with hatred, she never knew she could feel this way towards a child, a cub of his age. Her tail flicked to the side then lay still, chains were being torn from walls, rage was surging through her blood. Rage was restraining herself so much her body was slightly trembling, she didn't wish to hurt him.
"Oh really Dumu? My darkness? If you knew what I ahd been through you would know to have your words cease!" she growled, having her wings extend out from her body in one fluid strong motion. The feather's ruffled, her long fur on her neck caught the shiver running up and down her spine. She was losing it, losing control. She wanted to tell him to run away, but couldn't she physically couldn't.
"I am a lioness yes, I have wings, I am an immortal," she growled, "but you seem to have no respect for other's Dumu, how am I to treat you when you act like such a child!" true, he was a child, but he seemed so smart, so intelligent, but then he was acting like an impish child the next moment. Her black claws dug into the earth beneath her, she felt the dark aura try to seep from her body, "Get away now Dumu...I warn you...back away."
If he only knew, how young she was when she lost everything, when she lost her family, her hope, her control, her want to live life to teh fullest. Shattered into oblivion because of the greed of others. How she had to watch her own family be salughtered and murdered before her own eyes, how she couldn't help, was too small and naive of her own powers to do anything, to have their blood stain her wings and never cease to be with her. How she hated herself.
"Get away Dumu..."

"Respect!? You should me no respect first and so I gave you none in return, Rage. And guess what I AM A CHILD!"
He snapped back, he backed a bit when she raised her wings, but he remained vigalent. He wasn't gonna back down. Sure he was a cub with the powers of a seer, but he wasn't going to.
His violet eyes glared back at her, glaring into her eyes. She was true, she was angered, enraged. This was what she meant by Goddess of Rage. But he didn't care. If she was what she she says, pushing others away. Then she must've met Athrun....
"I am going nowhere, Rage. I am staying right here until you show me respect and I give yours in return."

She was trembling, her claws digging farther into the earth, Dumu was pushing too much, Rage didn't want this to happen, but a part of her lusted for the smell of fresh blood again when another part of her wished to fee the scene before it could even happen.
"True, you are a child, but you know nothing of respect. You are a child, you are supposed to respect your elders, guess what I am to you Dumu? I showed you no respect? Hmph, funny, you're the one that tried to find so much about me when we just met, you're the one that made the association I called you short.
I complimented you and you believed I said the opposite. I'd watch yourself Dumu. Perhaps you aren't going anywhere, but I am, I don't want to hurt you..." Rage turned away from him, wings haning lower now, and she began to pad away, she felt bad for leaving him there, but she didn't want to hurt him, and he was pushing her too much.

Dumu growled and jumped at her landing on her tail. Worse idea he had, it was out of impulse, a spur of the moment. He had forgotten what caused his powers to work. Touch. With the slightest touch, he loses himself into the voices of the one he touches. The screams, the laughs, the cries, the whispers, the voices. Images of the one's past quickly passed by his eyes, so quick it was blinding and incoherrant. This was her past? She was....so similar to his father. The red, the cries....
Dumu jumped away, almost as far as he would with anyone he just met, giving them space so he could not possibly touch them. This was his safe distance. The cub was quite shaken, he had not seen anything as violent as that since his fahter's but those were in his sleep, whenever he got it. This beast...
"You...you let them die. You didn't even try to help them, did you? Why didn't you help them? Wouldn't they come back? Aren't they like you? Why didn't you help them, Rage. Are you a coward!? Is that is? Is it because you were too scared to proctect them? You are a Goddess, nothing should be able to challenge you. Why didn't you help them!?"

She felt him pounce on her tail and she sighed and growled in frustration, he jsut didn't know when to quit. She turned her silver eyes to look at Dumu, he had moved away? He looked shaken...why? He started speaking...she heard his words, "Shut up..." but he kept going, talked about ehr family, their death, she clsoed her eyes and saw the blood, teh fallen shells of their bodies, "SHUT UP!"
But he wouldn't, kept going, about if she was a coward, if he only understood, knew the real reason, but he was a child, naive to what her past held. She glared at him, rage surging through her veins, she growled, bared her fangs, claws dug into teh earth as she took steps towards him, a black aura eminating from her paws and wings coating her, then spreading towards him.
"You think you know everything you little whelp?! I tried but couldn't do anything! I was a child! I didn't know what I was supposed to do!" she growled, the aura began to make a circle around Dumu. "I'm not a coward! I tried! They held me back! They tried to take me! I'll never see them again do you understand? My family gave their souls up, sacrificed their reincaranting ability of their souls to save my life when I couldn't even help them! I couldn't help them when I wanted to! I watched them die in front of my own eyes, their blood stains my wings! Now are you satisfied Dumu? My family died because of ME!" she growled and the aura surged around him, appearing as black flames as they danced there way around him.
The beast inside her was free, her eyes narrowed at him, glaring, hate in her eyes, control completely lost, darkness ruling her body and it's wishes. "What now Dumu? Still glad you wanted to know my past? What you saw was only a flicker of it all....my life has been a living hell I can't escape from. You dared to go into my past, now you will find out why I am the goddess of Rage DUmu, so you will always remember," the aura circled his feet, an extention of her own self, grabbed a hold of him and she raised her rght paw, looked at it with a saisfying grin. It was obvius the Rage DUmu had first said hi to was gone, surpressed by this darkened form.
The day her family was murdered her mind split in two, good versus evil, she never knew how to control both at the same time, have them become one again, adn this was what happened when things went wrong. "You will always remember..." she lashed out with her paw, at the last second before it connected with his flesh a spark of a lighter white aura circled her paw. The lighter half of her was trying to save him, her claws still hit Dumu, but only slightly, his blood now on her paw.
The aura quickly faded, and so did the darkness, her eyes went soft, she looked at her paw and began to shake and take steps back. "Leave Dumu...go back home..." she turned and began to run away. She didn't want to hurt him anymore then she had.
She hoped, one day he would understand, and forgive her.
