It’s been along time (almost 2 yrs?) Since I’ve read it….I wanted to know if someone could please give me a summary of the book, I was retelling it to my sisters and I got stuck. I know how the story goes, and all…but I cant remember details after Bartimaeus and Nate escape the underwoods burning house!!! Please fill this in for me!!! I am on hold to get the book from the library again but I cant wait two weeks to finish the story.

On and while your at it, could any one throw in a summary of the Golems eyes, I have Ptolemy’s Gate so I wont need the summary of that to finish the story.

I want the first one in Chronological order, if you can manage that. If I get a really good summary then I will give the best summarizer 1,500 gold!!!

3,000 if someone does both; or else 1,500 gold for both.
I dont need the summaries to be lenghty but detailed please!

Please start with Nate meeting the Underwoods and go until the end. Please dont say, tell your sister to read them herself, she cant/she wont. (one is 4, the others 19)

They both only likes fantasy stories if I am the one telling them!

Okay, got all that? Great!!!
3…2…1…contest on!!!

OMG! I am reading the Amulet of Samarkand right now! I read fast, so I'll get right back you, because I'll probably finish it over this weekend. What are the names of the other 2 books?

Okay, I'll start with all of the stuff that happened to Nathaniel before he summoned Bartimaeus.

Nathaniel, a simple boy who was abandoned by his parents, was lucky ebough to be selected to become a magician's apprentice...and soon top be a magician himself.

He is at first a shy boy, he hardly spoke to his master, but he did take pleasure in the company a select few people, Ms. Martha Underwood being one of them. Nathaniel only saw his master once a week for his lessons. Aside from his lessons, his master was busy with his own matters. Nathaniel very much wanted to become a magician, and make Ms. Underwood proud. He studied hard with each of his teachers including art class with Ms. Lutyens, history with Mr. Purcell (who wasn't the most exciting teacher or the kindest at that!), and some other class which I will edit if I manage to recall. With the exception of Mr. Purcell's class, Nathaniel did excellent in all of his classes. He particularly favored Ms. Lutyens for he was most fond of her, and he enjoyed spending his passable hours in her garden, one of the few peaceful places of London. All was well in Nathaniel's classes and with his master, who refused to call him by his name, and refered to him as "boy" or "brat". Unfortunately Nathaniel's master was teaching him at a snail's pace, always assuming that he wasn't ready for anything, but Nathaniel had quite a passion for learning, and he went through all of his master's books cover to cover memorizing each piece of knowledge precisely.

Often when Nathaniel's master had guests over, Nathaniel was simply shooed off to his room to study, but on one occasion, his master gave him the courtesy of allowing him to meet the guests. Nathaniel was intriegued at first, but the guests were not at all what he had expected. They were normal and odd all at once, but none were to Nathaniel's liking...one in particular really stirred up his temper. Simon Lovelace, a small colleague of Mr. Underwood's decided to go past greeting him and test him instead. Nathaniel, to his master's surprise, answered every last one of Lovelace's questions perfectly. It was too easy for him. But Lovelace, being such a soar loser as Nathaniel said himself, made a rude litttle sidecomment, "Standards must have dropped," and cast a spell causing a large hand to toss Nataniel about and pin him down, while Lovelace mocked him in his agony. Now, Nathaniel was no coward, he certainly was not, but what could he really do? Plenty. And this is where the story truly begins with Batimaeus the djinni.

This is a little intro. I don't wanna finish it all today, beczuse I wanted to ask if this is too detailed or not detailed enough...?
