Origin: English meaning 'baker' or 'house.' It's direct meaning have no real importance. The name came from the book "The Narrows' by Micheal Connelly in which Backus was a character who was a seriel killer and former FBI profiler. 'The Narrows' is also a cool Rage against the Machine song.

Personality: To say Backus is evil is probably an understatement. Most of his traits he inherited from his father's alter ego, Dougal. Which is probably not for the best. He is quite a schemer and is the worst kind of evil, that without a care. He knows the things he's doing is wrong, but he takes pleasure in not caring. One drawback, and one that gives him a leverage of pity, is that he has a strange heart condition. It's a lot of chest pains coupled with inability to breath right, all of which comes and goes at a whims notice.

As far as her pack is concerned she puts those into positions of power because they want nothing more then to fufill all of their carnal desires, which Lilith can and does offer. However, like most things looks can be decieving. Lilith knows that if she has someone's full attention and feeds any inner bloodlust they have then there would be no reason for them to turn against her. And that's what she wants.
