"What are they...?"
"They're passes, they'll let you pass through the main gates."
"How did you get them though?"
"We all have our ways, I prefer to keep mine secret but it would easier for you not ask anymore questions. There is very little time, you need to leave now!"
****
"Do not ask, it is easier if you simply smile and nod." The Geisha cleared her throat as she made her way down the path towards the Homegrounds. She was already quite familiar with the route now that she had wandered back and forth from the locatio but today, she walked with a new sense of purpose.
She was going home and Koniryu was coming with her, even if she had to drag him by the horns.
"You forget I struggle to smile with a beak?" Aversham pointed out as he rested on her shoulder. To be honest this was a complete lie as he could smile quite easily but in the given circumstances he really wasn't going to, Koniryu seemed like he wanted to turn him into a roast dinner and now, he would have to deal with the pleasure of his company for goodness knows how long!
"Then just nod." Hayaharu clearly had other things on her mind and wouldn't humour the bird as she came within view of the main homelands and kept her eyes peeled for any signs of a green fluffy man or a pretty headdress (although for that one she needed to look down).
"So we are really going then?"
"Yes."
"Interesting."

((hehe ya caught me while I'm still up XD))
Koni was awake and wandering through Homegrounds, not really caring about the time in the least. Though, his charge was currently asleep within the folds of the hood of his cloak. The girl had taken to only dancing or just learning how to sew up her costumes. And yes, it pissed him off greatly to know why she wasn't happy anymore, but sooner or later, he figured she would snap out of it and be happy once more.
Moving quietly, so he didn't wake her up, he was passing from behind the couple before he noticed them, his ears shifting at the sounds of their voices. "Lady Hayaharu..." His voice was soft but he stopped and turned to face her and Aversham fully. "Can I help ye with anything?"

//What can I say, my timing is perfect?
"Ahhha!" A bright smile passed across Hayaharu's lips and a very slight twinkle reached her eyes. She was beginning to suspect that she had incredible luck or that Koniryu had the inate ability to detect when he was wanted. Either way, it made her life much easier and that only served to put her in an even better mood than before.
Good moods were once rare for her.
...Recently they had started to become a common feature.
"Just the gentleman I wanted to see." Clearing her throat she clapped her fingertips over Aversham's beak before he spoke and adjusted her stance so that she was more comfortable. "No doubt you remember how the gates to Shoichi are closed, yes?" She took a breath before continuing, "Well I would like to, to..." And then she faltered, she wasn't one who often lost her train of thought but the fluffball just had that aura about him.
"She would like to extend an invitation to you, to go to Shoichi." Aversham finished in as helpful a tone as he could.

The tall being looked at her oddly, his eyes looking her over carefully. My my, she was definitely in a good morning today, for whatever reason. But for whatever reason himself, he was looking much more relaxed at the moment. THis hair was even tied up or fashioned in any sort of way. Rather it was allowed to hang about his face as it wished, softening his entire outlook. It was only in the gardens and serenity of Homegrounds that he didn't bother trying to hide himself and it was obvious he had finally found a balance there. He looked relaxed, almost happy.
Thankful she had shut that stupid bird's beak before it spoke to him, he foced his intense gaze on her as she spoke. But his brows jacked up when she said they were going to Shoichi, and judging by how happy she was, this was no joke, he couldn't help the grin that appeared on his face. "And when do we leave, milady?"

She looked rather taken aback at his smile, she was already rather surprised by his relaxed appearance but the smile itself lit up his features and made him even more approachable than she would have believed. It was during this time that she began to wonder what on earth was in the air and where, in the name of the gods, had they put her favourite hermit?
"Well..." Regaining her composure the unmasked geisha clasped her hands together and rocked from the ball of her feet to the heels. She was almost like a little girl, caught off guard by his unusual and somewhat unfamiliar demeanor, she almost wanted grumpyguts back.
"How soon can you leave?" She replied with a question of her own, "I was under the impression that it would take a while for you to gather your things but transport can be arranged within a very short period of time." Shaking her head, she flicked her gaze briefly to his ears (a source of entertainment for her) and then back to his face.
"Realistically...We can leave at any time."

His grin was one of pleasure, yes, but he was thankful they could finally go. It had taken a lot to be able to manage to get there. Before, there had been people whom he would have taken but he wasn't sure if he should have or not. "Then get ready to leave soon. It won't take us that long to get ready." Since he had slowly but surely gotten ready to leave when they had first gotten the papers from before. All it would take is some finishing touches really.
As he turned to head towards his home, there was a faint shift and Reika's head poked out from the edge of the hoodie groggily, her eyes barely opened as she tried to figure out what was going on. But since all she could currently see was blurrily color, she yawned and ducked back down again. Nothing interesting, she supposed. But then again, not much interested her anymore. But she jerked as Koni suddenly stopped, causing her to bump against his back.
"Would ye care for tea, Lady Hayaharu? Croutons for the bird?" His lips shifted into a smirk, though his ears flicked sa he heard a soft gasp and felt Reika try to cover herself with extra fabric. So, she was awake now.

"Your inability to crack a joke that is even remotely satisfying astounds me." Aversham replied drily, choosing to ignore the shuffling within Koni's hood for the sake of his own sanity. If he paid anymore attention then another war would occur and he would be left with a bad headache, he could really only deal with one issue at a time.
One being his emotional problems and the other being Koniryu's natural hatred. Damn father figures.
"Oh, as much as the offer is appreciated I really don't require anything." Hayaharu gave another small smile to emphasize her gratitude before casting a disapproving glance towards a disgruntled Aversham - she had a feeling it would be pistols at dawn if this kept up.
Romeo and Juliet eat your heart out!
"I have provisions for the trip anyway, and I had a decent breakfast." She added, almost as an after thought. "So you can get ready and we can go as soon as you say the word!"

The light expression he wore faded as he glared fully at Aversham, rathe rliking the thought he was entertaining of spitting and roasting his useless a**! The colorful feathers would make the perfect decoration. His fingers curled into a fist before he took a breath and released it, focusing on Hayaharu again. Better her than that thing. "As ye wish. Tis glad I am to hear ye've eaten well. Please excuse me a moment. T'wil only take a moment."
With that, he disappeared inside his home for some time, changing and taking Reika out of the hood. The small girl's face was unexpressive as she looked at him and then away. Since she had been asleep, he told her what was going on into her ear and though some interest appeared in her eyes, she nodded and allowed herself to be set down. In her way, she had to prepare, whistling in order to get her familiars with her. She could only take one with her and in the end, the moomba was chosen and she bade the rest to look after the house while they were gone. Kissing their foreheads, she headed towards her little closet and found something to wear. Something that covered her up. Maybe it was cowardly, but she couldn't even fathom talking to Aversham at the moment.
Once she was ready, her headdress firmly in place, she was picked back up by Koni and placed into the huge pocket of his new cloak. He had made it big enough to comfortably hold her so she wasn't always trapped in her glass travel case, though he brought that along as well. Once it was alls et up, he headed back outside. Though he didn't seem overly surprised to see a groggy Akiya come stumbling out of his house, his wings out, as they always were when he first woke up. Despite his lazy wishes, his body woke him up early in the morning to exercise and run about before he had to do some work. "Akiya!" He had to shout to reach the not alert mind of the angel, but when he turned to look at him, he smirked. "Tis time. Get ready."
"Huh?" Scratching his head, Akiya focused on who was there.. not tin the least bothered he was half naked. "Time?" ... where did he have to go again?

Akiya was always a source of entertainment according to the now pregnant Epee and yet until now, Hayaharu had never had first hand experience of the oddball. It wasn't as though she had never seen a half naked man before but his ditzy expression and lack of understanding for even the simplest phrases did bring another smile to her lips - no wonder he was able to break down that barrier around the fluffball of a hermit.
"This could be an entertaining trip." Aversham mused as he readjusted his position on Hayaharu's shoulder and cocked his head to the side, his emerald eyes fixed on the angel, "If anything he will reign in the -"
"No more Aversham." Hayaharu interjected steadily, her gaze turning to admire the various gardens in her immediate vicinity, it really was a nice place. If anything, her little observations would kill enough time for Koniryu to explain to Akiya and perhaps, for Akiya to pack his things relatively quickly.
...Did angels even have possessions?

Watching groggily as Koni came over to him, he yawned into his hands as he knelt down to listen to what he had to say. Nodding every noe and then, any traces of sleep fully disappeared from his face as he understood what was going on and dashed back inside. He did have some things he should bring, in case anyont got hurt or the like. Ten minutes, he returned fully dressed and with a long knapsack slung over his shoulder. Clothing wasn't a problem for him since his clothing was already enchanted to change to fit his settings, so that was something he never worried about. "Sorry about that." Now more awake, he looked down to where Reika was hiding and then at Koni, who only roughly shook his head. Still no good, huh?
Looking over at Hayaharu, he bowed deeply. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm akiya, if Koni has never mentioned me really." Since their meetings were few and far between, he felt he should introduce himself again. "I'm set, so all that is needed is to pick up Koni and Reika's things so we can be off. I would hate to keep you away from home any longer than needed."

"It is no trouble, it has been my duty for many years to wait on individuals to prepare themselves before tending to my own needs." Placing a small smile of gratitude on her lips, she returned Akiya's bow and clasped her hands together, the mere presence of the angel seemed to have lightened Aversham's mood considerably!
"When Koniryu and Reika have gathered their things we can meet on the Isle and proceed to the station, the railway lines seem to be the most beneficial route at present - reasonably swift and less rocky." Smiling faintly as she recalled the displeasure at her journey to the Isle she was quite glad that Yuthin had granted her enough of an allowance to actually find a better form of transport.
"It also means you can catch up on some sleep, you still look rather tired."

"Even so, I am grateful for your patience with my bubbling self." Grinning softly, he rubbed the back of his head before he smiled down at her. Contrary to what he had heard from Koni's grumbling, he was curious and Lady Hayaharu.. and about what Koni got so extremely ruffled around her. He knew part of it was due to his having no social skills, let alone how to talk to a girl, but he was amused by how he acted around her. Once his eyes caught Aversham, however, he smiled more and then bowed before him as well. "Good to see you in good health, Aversham."
Nodding and agreeing about getting Koni and Reika's gear, he headed over to the house and looked over it all. It wasn't honestly too much, he supposed. Grabbed several of the bags, he slung them over his shoulders, shifting them a bit so he was comfortable with them. All together, it was quite a bit of weight and he knew his steps would be a bit lagging. But it was easier this way. "Then we shall continue forward then. I would hate to miss the train heh." A softer smile showed at her concern and he shook his head. "Thank you, I'll be awake enough to make it to the train. Napping once there, though, I won't complain about doing hehe."

"I am always in good health, Akiya...if I was not I would be in rather worse spirits than I am now." Smiling faintly, Aversham nodded towards the angel before he went to gather Koniryu and Reika's things. If anything, Aversham would spend the majority of the journey speaking to Akiya as he was well aware by now that Hayaharu drifted into her own little world quite frequently unless she was directly addressed.
"I think no one will complain to sleeping on the train, it is quite a long journey." Hayaharu replied, giving a delicate giggle as she began to make her way out of the Homegrounds once more and towards the train station, unsurprisingly, it was very easy to locate it as it was pretty much the centre point of much of this region of Gaia (as she had taken note).
"Or rather...a very long hourney." She confessed, rummaging in her small bag briefly in search of the tickets before she offered them to the pair of men, "Do you have any questions?"

Akiya was quiet a moment as he looked at him. "You're not the only in bad spirits. I can only hope that you two can work out your issues with each other.. and so a lighter mood is created." Shifting the bags a bit more, he had no problems taking up the rear of the line that headed towards the train station. He knew why Ave wasn't in a pleased mood. It's bad enough to have issues with Koni. That was typical, in his opinion. But to also be at odds with Reika had to make this a bit mroe difficult. His eyes looked down towards where he knew the little girl would be sitting, probably twining her hair around her fingers so much they got knotted, something she had taken up to doing lately. Talking to her about her and Aversham caused her to tense and become snappish, a very rare thing indeed. He knew it was nothing mroe than a misunderstanding, but those two needed to talk things out for themselves. "Ah good! I'm afraid long trips of any kind have me napping for the majority.. though I'll do my best to stay awake."
Koni was quiet, only scratching at his cheek every now and again. Long train ride? He never had to worry over such things before so it was definately a new thing for him. But it should prove to be interesting... he hoped. "I can't think of any questions about the train.. as of yet... tis safe, aye?" His brow jacked up a bit nd he glared at Akiya's snicker. "Tis Reika's first train ride as well.. she's nervous about it all..."

"Perfectly safe." Hayaharu responded, flashing a small smile as she made her way across the platform and selected the carriage they were meant to be in. According to the numbers they were three carriages from the back, it meant that they would be served food last but also meant that they wouldn't have to endure the constant scream of children.
A good thing for Aversham who had a rather short temper at present!
"Unless of course the dragons around the Outposts decide to come and say hello, in which case, you may find a bit of a jolt and a few windows smashed." She added, her expression perfectly serious even though there was a twinkle in her eye to indicate that she was only teasing them - she had grown used to how easily Koniryu took the bait.
Falling silent, she opened the doors of the carriage in slipped in, only giving Aversham time to arch a brow at the word of both herself and Akiya. What did he mean 'talk'? Koniryu wouldn't even let his living doll out of his goddamn pocket, talking was impossible!
