Kale grazed lightly as the sun reached it's zenith. The day had been relatively calm, nothing had seemed out of place. He continued with his lunch, tail flicking as a fly landed on his back. The meadow around him seemed to be filled with faint life, bees buzzing over the flowers that lay a bit away and even a small rabbit poking it's head out from its den. He breathed in the warm, soothing scent and sighed, content.

Cualtzin slowly trotted, his head up most intellegently like most handsome stallions. His curly mane and tail flew lovely in the air. The flowers in his tail and mane kept in place almost magicly. His very nice coat of black, greys and whites showed nicely as he trotted in the light. The bright colors in his mane showed brightly as well.
Today was a joyous day. He'd seen his mate, though wasn't able to talk to her. She was on another trip with her two legger. But that was perfectly fine with him. He loved it. When she came back, it made every moment with her even more special. He had a huge grin on his face as he trotted with closed eyes. He knew where he was going, though every few steps he'd open his eyes to see where exactly he was going.
He flicked his tail as he went. He needed to talk to someone. Perhaps the first soquili he met on his way? Ah yes, that'd be quite nice. He loved running into others. He looked around, not seeing anyone yet. He continued on.

Kale shook his braided mane as a gentle breeze ruffled his coat and continued grazing on the sweet grass. It was tasty but he was soon becoming thirsty as well as full. He took a break from eating and took a drink of water from a small stream nearby. He looked up, narrowing his eyes slightly from the sunlight and pricked his ears forward, Had he heard something? He wasn't sure but it didn't really matter, he would deal with whatever came. Flicking his tail he resuming grazing, but only lightly, he needed to be alert.

Cualtzin came out from some brush that just happen to be in the way. How fun it was to go threw them. He had a huge grin still. What a very strange soquili. He was most happy all the time. Not one soquili had he seen, besides his lovely mate, where the same way. He took a deep breath as he rested his eyes on another soquili.
Another soquili, what were the chances of that?!! Awesome. He started stopping his front feet out of excitement as he stood there looking at the new stallion. He was most black, but had white mane and tail. It wasn't Rahu. Good thing, he didn't want to run into that mean soquili.
"HELLO!" He said overly loudy. He had so much spunk, though it scared some soquili away. He didn't mind, he LOVED the way he was. Infact, he was a little proud of who he was, but not to selfcentered. He loved seeing what others thought and didn't mind hanging around new people. "I'm Cualtzin" He said a bit more quiet.

Kale raised his head in response to a very loud hello. He watched the large stallion trot closer, his gait energetic and happy. He was spotted and had flowers entangled in his mane and tail. Briefly, Kale wondered how those flowers had gotten into the stallions mane, but shrugged with the realization that a two-legger had probably done it to him.
His ears flicked forward as he caught a name, "Hello, Cualtzin." He greeted dipping his head slightly in greeting, "I am Kale." He flicked his tail slightly. He did not move forward toward the other stallion, it was not in his nature to elicit contact with someone he didn't know well. He stood solemnly and waited for the energetic stallion to move closer.

He came closer, about a few feet away. "Oh! Hello, Kale. Interesting name there. I thought you where someone I'm trying to advoid. But you have white mane and tail." he tilted his head. He didn't believe he'd seen any soquili with light mane/tail with dark body. "Wow, you sure are different. OH! I love your feathers." They were his favorite color. Green.
He was much like a Mare, but he still had his own male personality. He was simply a foal in an adult stallion body. Though, he was quite serious when he needed to be. "Oh! how do you get your hair like that. I don't think my curles would braid so well." He always when to the detail of the other, to maked sure he knew them well. He wanted to make sure he would be able to reconize them in a herd. "It's a pleasure meeting you, by the way."

Kale raised an eyebrow as he listened to the spotted Stallion, "Thank you for the compliment on my feathers." He replied politely, this stallion was very much like a mare, commenting on all of his physical attributes. He shook his head and neck, causing the braids to flap against him, "I'm not entirely sure about them myself, my two-legger did it for me." A single ear flicked forward, "A pleasure to meet you as well." fter a moment he decided that it couldn't hurt to ask him about his flowers, "And I see you have flowers in your own mane and tail, did you two-legger do that for you?"

Cualtzin chuckled. "Oh gosh no. When me and my mate, Tally, went out for a roll in flowers, they got stuck and she liked them in my hair so I kept them." He didn't understand why it was so... unlike anyone to have flowers in their mane and tail. He saw plently of mares who had flowers, and a few stallions. But only after he got them. Perhaps they saw how cool they really where on him?
He gave a smile. "Well, my two-legger made the so they'd never die, but that's it" He added not realizing the flowers could be fake.

Kale nodded his head, "They fit quite well with you, Cualtzin." he replied, swishing his tail. He sighed and glancd around the meadow. There wasn't a lot to do round here in the meadow. After all, kit was just an empty grass, perhaps they could go off and explore the forest itself? or do something. Just the two of them standing there was getting rather boring but he wouldn't suggest another course of action, he didn't know this stallion well enough to offer a suggestion to do something other then this. His ears twitched back and for as the silence lengthened.

Cualtzin circled Kale for a second, but he wasn't looking at him. More about thed suroundings of the area. He knew it slightly. Though it didn't seem like there was much to do around here. He watched some birds fly away as he steped and broke a branch that was on the ground.
"Hmm." He thought for a second. Then he got a huge grin on his face. "You know, we need to do something." He stopped next to Kale. Perhaps he'd like to have fun? But what to do, oh what to do.
Cualtzin did a few side steps away, and then back towards Kale. Much like a dance. He'd got pretty good at it, since he practiceds a bit. He smiled at Kale. "So, what do you want to do? I'm sure you wouldn't like to dance, and sing or have fun like that".

Kale raised an eyebrow as the spotted stallion circled him, "Indeed." was he only reply to his first statement and as Cualtzin danced away he shook his head slightly, "Who said I didn't like to have fun?" He asked, only minutely offended by that statement, after all, he was the most out there of stallions, unlike others he had glimpsed. "I don't know how to dance, and I am sure I cannot sing."
He looked at the spotted stallion and raised a brow, "Pray tell, what would you like to do, oh most fun of stallions?" He asked, tossing his head, the braids smacking against his neck audibly. If Cualtzin knew about fun, then let him find something for them to do.

Cualtzin gave a chuckle. "Sorry if I offended you, but I truely didn't mean you didn't like to have fun. I just stated that you might not think that dancing was fun, or singing." He went in a circle, then looked back at him.
"Well, I certainly asked you what you thought was fun, but if you want me to decided. Though, I don't think you'd like what I liked." He said as he did a slight hop towards a puddle. It looked not so muddy, but once Cualtzin jumped in it and mud splashed everywhere.
"But there's no harm in trying something new. How about mud wrestling? It's fun. Though, quite messy." He said continuing to splash around in the mud. He knew that alot of stallions didn't like to act foalish. Though, Cualtzin didn't care one bit, infact he just did whatever he wanted infront of anyone.
Rolling in the mud, then getting up he looked around. "Perhaps not that! We could chase butterflies, or birds, though butterflies are always good for beginners." He added. "Or!! We could go swimming, Ah yes. I haven't been swimming in a while." He laughed.
"There's also rolling in the flowers, that's fun. My favorite thing to do with my mate. We have so much fun" He reared in the mud, kicking it everywhere. He was getting excited from talking about what to do. It made him want to do them all. "We could always do a bit of racing, that's pretty grand too."
"Oh! I know the perfect thing." He paused for a second. " How about going on an adventure. Who knows what we'll find. Birds, frogs, lizards, anything." He looked at Kale with wide eyes of excitement. Waiting for his answer, he started to pant alittle.

At first Kale had thought that his question had just made Cualtzin really happy though all his suggestions were games usually played by foals but when he stopped at began to look at him strangely and panting a bit he backed up a pace, "Whoa there, no need to be so forceful, Cualtzin." He replied, slightly unnerved by the stallion's reaction. With a shrug Kale looked calmly at him, "I honestly don't particularly care what we do, I haven't done a lot of that stuff since I was young foal." He replied, his calm practically oozing off him.
He wasn't about to get excited over something like this, it was fine to do any of those things. He didn't particularly care what others though himself, and it was apparent Cualtzin didn't either, if the suggestions he offered could be connected to it. Had such things affected the spotted stallion he would have stopped doing those things long ago. With a shrug he inclined his head, "Perhaps a race? Or swimming?" Those activities sounded interesting enough, he didn't particularly care for rolling in flowers or chasing butterflies...

Cualtzin looked at him dumbfound. He was being forceful? His hears flopped over, not angry or sad like, more as saying whoops, sorry. He smiled at him. "Oh... I didn't mean to seem... Like that" He looked to the ground for a second slightly dissappointed in himself. Another stallion he'd frightened for acting the way he was.
Then his ears popped up the moment he said something about a race or swimming. Perhaps both! "We could race to the water!! Then go swimming!!" It sounded perfect. It was a bit away from the water, so it'd be a good race. Though, he was really slow. But he didn't care. It was about the fun of the game, not if he could beat them or not.
He flicked his tail. Wided eyed again and smileing dumbly. "It'll be fun. whatcha say? " He hoped in place for a second them stoped and gave a huge grin. He was strange, but didn't care at all. He was happy that the other stallion wanted to do at least something. Well, two of the somethings he stated. This was a good sign.
