When I can't decide what to do, or if I lose track of whats going on, I'll usually camp. I'll pick the players off as they move, then I'll move to a different spot to keep the other team confused. It does get kinda hard keeping track of the other players while doing this, especially if there are alot of them. I have reasonable success with it.

I must say, that one of the funest things to do if you're at a scenario or big game, is the ambush. You gotta have extremely disciplined players with ya though, otherwise they just start shootin off at the first sight of the other team. I usually find a spot players are frequently using to reach the battle from the respawn areas (again, these are only in big games and scenarios), take about 5-10 people depending on the amount of players, and wait. YOu don't set up right next to the path, but at maximum range of it, hide real good, and wait. You actually wanna wait till the players are a little past you, then pop out and light em up. You'll prolly only be able to get a quick burst off, and then retreat. Even if you don't take that many people out, it's still quite fun if you do it right.

Found a new one today. A big part of any paintball game, woods or arena, maintaining fire superiority and initiative is key. You can't let just a few paintballs wizzing by stop your advance. We were playin a center flag game out in the woods. We got all our assult type players (cocker's, shorter barrels, fast firers, etc.) in front, with longer range guns (flatlines (me), longer barrels, etc.) immediatly behind them. Plan was to charge up right off the break, assult players takin the flag while the rest of us covered. Well, things started off okay, were just about the flag, when one guy from teh other team shot off a few rounds at us. EVERYONE JUST STOPPED AND TOOK COVER!!! We ended up loosin that game cause we didn't get the flag soon enough to push through to their flag station. The moral here is, don't let a couple guys stop your advance. Maintain a steady advance, maintaining fire superiority over them to keep their heads down. All you gotta do is fire at a steady rate, switching targets every 3-5 shots, as rapidly as possible without just totally loosing accuracy. This works very well, especially when you're tryin to advace through an area out in the open with little/no cover. I tried and tested that technique extensively today at the field, and beleive me, it works like a charm.

awsome idea, but i like firing like 3 shots at a a time so they have a chance to pop up and you can shoot them while they do that, but it only works if your strafing while moving closer to them, so they dont pop up and know where you are and fire off a few at you

Here are some easy logics if you play airball and tournament ball..

-Always keep your gun up. I've gotten many people out by just keeping my barrel up.

-Press your barrel into the bunker so you can get a shoot off as soon as possible. Just make sure when you pull barrel away you don't shoot the bunker.. I do it quite often it just kinda makes me laugh in my head.

-This is one of the guys/gals shooting off the break.. Try to find a good lane to shoot. Preferablly close to a middle field bunker. Like when I play X-Ball I shoot between the X and a Aztec and usally get 1-2 off the break..

-I personally practice how fast I can reload my hopper.. Helps me some on the field.

-Always remember to play both sides of your bunker. I may even be playing a right back can or left back can or whatever but it is important to play both sides of the bunker. You'll definitly want to keep track of the snake if you are by one. I've eliminated so many people by playing both sides of the bunker. And I've also been eliminated a couple of times by not playing both sides.. Or if you and buddy are doubled up at a bunker both make sure you pay attention to your side becuase you wouldn't want to have you and him get eliminated..

I would like to say something cool like "too many mind" (last samurai) But a big one that i see in rookie players is keeping tucked in, dont leave a toe or elbow, even a finger in sight, because if the other team is anything like me they will shoot it (i personaly have been shot in the PINKIE FINGER because i left it out...)

i just kill people while running though in the center or down the tape (usually the right tape)
keep your gun rolling off the break while your running to your bunker.
own your lanes that your team needs and
communication is the key

make sure u know if there is already someone in the bunker ur goin for and where the balls are comin from

my personal fav is to run down the right tape and come up behind them
this usally only works when ur playin a small group or a big group of complete newb renters

Forget if this was said already, so forgive me if it was:
TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION ARE KEY!!! If you don't keep your communication up, you'll have no idea what's going on. Your backs and mids (woods and tourney) need to constantly be yelling out which bunkers are occupied, and if they eliminate a member of the opposing team, where it was. Fronts need this info, but should be communicating as well. Don't just have everyone yelling out stuff so it becomes a confusing mess. Have your players know what's important, and try and run some drills or something to work on communication.

Well as you people have been saying communication is key..Well my team played another team the past friday and we stomped them..It was 8-0...Our team has huge communication and as for the other team a very small one..We dominated over pure communication skills..

So Communication is very key... xd
