I am a new member. Hello. I would like to see how things work here. Why am I talking like a robot?
Hey! I'm new here, and I was wondering if this is...suitable for conversation. I'm assuming so, but you can never be too sure with these things.
(Yeah, that's better.) Or, if nobody likes that topic, we could always play a nice, wholesome game of "In My Pants."
"I work at the library...in my pants."
...Sorry.

I don't like to read on the computer for long periods of time, as my eyes are easily irritated by lights. I'll read at my computer desk, though. Welcome to the guild smile

My computer is very slow. So I take a book to ward of the monotony.

Welcome to the guild!
I read at my computer all the time. I have a fast computer and I still do it. Go figure.
As for reading ON the computer I rather dislike it. Too much eyestrain and whatnot. Though I do believe that the internet is a great reading and research resource.
Oh, the alliteration of that line!
I digress because I am tired. I think it's the mark of a true reader and book lover to be proud enough to admit that they read while sitting at the computer.
I DO IT DAILY.

I read at the computer all the time, especially if it's an assigned school book.
Haha, I play the "in my pants" game all the time, too, mostly with song titles.
"Thank God I found you...in my pants"
"All the small things... in my pants"

I don't read on the computer often due to the strain on the eyes, but I do like to read a book at my desk because some of my favorite music is on the computer and I like to have mood music.

Drowtung Welcome to the guild! I read at my computer all the time. I have a fast computer and I still do it. Go figure. Same here. There's lots of competition for the computer at my house, too, so I get yelled at for it quite often. Things like "Why do you sit down at the computer and then spend half the time reading?" or "Use the damn computer if you're gonna take it from me!" Because of this, I try to limit my computer usage to late-night only. blaugh

Nintendonick4 My computer is very slow. So I take a book to ward of the monotony. I used to have an old Mac with dial-up internet. While waiting (and waiting, and waiting) for pages to load, I would read a book. Or sometimes I would just hit my computer.

Nintendonick4 My computer is very slow. So I take a book to ward of the monotony. I do the exact same thing! Especially when I'm on Gaia with all these little images to load.....

FINALLY got access to a computer. I notice my above post has my seventh ever spelling error on Gaia (or my fourth, if you don't count the time I was watching my friend play video games while on the computer). And on the reader's guild, too...
Drowtung:I can't read on the computer every day. I can't get on a computer every day.
Fantasy Moon: Your avi looks exactly like a girl at my school named Helen. The reddish hair, everything. Except she has reddish and black dyed hair.
And she's cuter...*blush*
