All I really want right now is, well, a lounge. A place to sit on big, fat, cushy leather arm chairs with a fire roaring in a huge, ornate fireplace (for the winter; that's just crazy in the summer), and books every where. Books just look amazing--and the stuff inside them are pretty great too.
A lounge is just a nice place to sit, relax, have a drink (we serve juice, teas, coffees, and the occasional soda. A few too many drinks just sort of throws things off course. Of course, once in a while, a glass of champagne is nice! Say New Years.)
Come, relax, put up your feet, talk once in awhile--but not overmuch, because I'm pretty sure that old guy--no, no, not YOU--the other one--is asleep, and he gets cranky if he gets woken up.

Of course, Poppetta. Nudging for drooling. Good idea, maybe I should make it a rule? haha.
Bolon, welcome! What is your first language? I'm friends with several people with whom English is not their first tongue, no worries there. smile

lol, cool xd
seriously i envy people who live in beautiful parts of the world, but then again, South America is poor, and it has more than its fair share of political problems, so maybe it's easier to look from afar ninja

Ah! Chile. I definitely know where that is. Lots of geography lessons in my Spanish courses ^__^. I almost had an opportunity to visit Chile, and another time, to visit Argentina, but alas, I was too poor (okay, I still am) to be able to go.

It's not like some countrys in africa that children are dieying of hanger... We got malls and subwaysand great universities... at least in Chile. South America got a lot of Turistics spots that gain a lot of money, Like Panama and Peru.
@Dragon: sad that sad to hear... it's a great oportunity to go other countrys and extend your mind of the concept of the world, not just staying with the concept of the own country. One time I get the change of going to US, to seatlle like a exchange student. I had an explended time there.

Being new here, I figured that the lounge would be the best place to introduce myself to everyone and maybe find some enlightening conversation. So... I'm Jennifer, 24, I live in Georgia, but grew up in Ft Worth Texas. I have an associates degree in veterinary medicine and just became certified as an EMT-I wahmbulance a few weeks ago. I'm a member of the Southeast division of North American Mensa. I've been married for four and a half years (May 5th is the big 05!). We don't have any children, though we are looking to adopt in the future. Ah, let's see... I live out in the middle of nowhere, on 12 acres of pine forest. My husband, Joe, is an EMT and firefighter. I breed Betta splendens in my spare time. I SCUBA dive when I get the chance (which isn't nearly as often as I'd like). I like to talk, obviously!

Hi Mekasia... Welcome to the guild... I hope you have a great time in here. Technically, you can introduce yourself in Lakeside Apts. forum but no one is going to report you, so don't worry. I see that you marry at the age of 20. Can I ask what make you decide to marry at that age? (Sorry. You don't have to answer if you don't want to)

Actually, I had no intention of ever getting married. In fact, I had already turned down two other proposals. But when I met my husband, I knew that he was "the one". We were engaged for about 11 months. I just knew it was right because I was 100% certain that he was the one I was meant to be with.
