I'm not like, extremely over-the-top Mormon, so I'm not all that peculiar when I'm around non-members, unless they're smokin' or doing drugs or something... But yeah... I'm at a church school right now, so I don't even stand out in the least bit... biggrin

Daekei I don't know why but my non-member friends think I think crazily because of my mormon habits. Does this happen to you? Naw...mine are very supportive and look up to it! In fact they often make accomodations for me always making sure theres noncaffeinated drinks at our get togethers and parties! Same to my boy friends parents....they always make sure theres a sprite in the house for me!

Mine never treat me different or single me out for different treatment just because I am Mormon. And they don't do any immoral things the church is against too, so my friends are perfectly fine.

Actually, my non-member friends tell me how non-memberish I am! xd
Mostly it's due to the fact we live in Utah, and when I talk to my non-member friends, I don't talk about religion because I'm SURE they hear it enough everyday. That, and I don't mind Spongebob. For some reason, everyone around here thinks Spongebob is evil...

The majority of my close friends are LDS... But those are just my close friends, the people that I choose to hang out with. I have lots of non-member friends, and yeah, they think I'm a little weird. They used to mock it, but now they have matured and respect me for following my religion, and doing things like organizing a non-alcoholic Graduation Party last weekend. A couple of them even attended, so they didn't feel like they had to get drunk at the other parties 3nodding

I love it when my non-member friends strngthen me through ridicule. blaugh Have you ever had a non-member say "Is that the mormon standard?" to you. Best feeling ever. xd

my friends are cool with it. people at school usually think its pretty cool that i live up to high standards except for the occasional low-brow. they just make themselves look dumb cuz you just gotta smile and laugh at them.

I only have two non-member friends these days (happens when you go to a church school). but when I did have a lot of non-member friends, they would give me a hard time for not doing stereotypical-mormon things. sweatdrop
