"Come on Junketsu...No! No don't put that in your mouth! You don't know where it came from! Wow, only a little baby and already eating bugs. I knew the park was a bad idea for someone her age."
PJ carried Junketsu from the ground under a small tree just next to a small park, and over to a park bench. He bounced her a bit on his knee, while thinking over his day's schedule.

She was doing it! Escape was within her grasp now that she could sorta walk! Sjajan tottered down the path, her mother cursing and gripping her wounded arm. Jani had just gotten her teeth, and some were SHARP!
"Jani you come back here! I'll catch you in a second."
The baby stopped on her own and stared at Junketsu before bursting in her loudest voice and promptly falling over.
"JUHN-KEEEEE!"

The shout from Jani obviously got both PJ's and Junketsu's attention, PJ nearly dropped Junketsu off his lap, his note book and cell phone flew out of his free hand.
"Oh, hello there Jani, is that Indu behind you? Did you learn to walk just now?!"
Junketsu was now tring to climb out of PJ's arms towards Jani, she remembered her, and now anted to go play. "Dow!"
"Yeah, sure, jin just a minute okay Junketsu."

The little blond make a weak whimper of pain from falling, and promptly forgot about it. She was staring at Junketsu with wide eyes. Her friend was here! She hadn't seen her since... Well, she didn't keep track of time really, but it'd been a long while!
"Junhn-kee! Jaaaay!"
She acknowledged PJ too, he'd been very kind to her, however, it was obvious that she was more interested in his daughter.
Indu approached rubbing her sore arm and smiled in delighted surprise to see the two on the bench, she'd met PJ before, and thought they'd gotten along rather well, but they hadn't got to talk all that long before.
"PJ! How are you? And little Junketsu! You've gotten so much bigger, much cuter than Jani here."
She prodded her child with a gentle foot and Jani giggled happily.

Junketsu reached her arms towards Jani in an attempt to hug. She was young, and thought this was how you always greeted people, as she had seem her father greet many people in this manner. " Jani ani!"
PJ also ran up to Indu and grabbed her in a bear hug. "Hey there Indu! I'm well, and yourself? Yeah she has gotten bigger hasn't she, and Jani is so adorable."

Surprising herself, Indu giggled and hugged PJ tight while nodding quickly. It was so nice to meet someone so... Energetic in their hellos. Besides, it'd been a while since she'd had a hug from someone her own size.
"I'm doing well, I have more kids now, it's rather hectic in my house, luckily it's large! Jani has missed Junketsu so much! She sits about moping, and I know it's for your daughter because she started sobbing whenever she saw milk around..."
Jani threw her small tan arms around her friend, and hugged her tightly, careful not to harm her, since she was smaller. A big grin was spread across her face.
"Ai Unkee, ow oo?"

"Wow, even more more children now? That must be hard. Do you have anyone else helping you with them? Anyone at all?
And yes Junketsu missed Jani alot as well. When no one is around she won't play or anything, she just kind of sits there...bored.
Junketsu smiled as she greeted her friend. "ood? ow!" "Good! You?"

"Well, I've got Neme, she's a teen, which is odd, because... I'm nineteen and all, so we're more like sisters now. She helps a lot... It is hard, but I love them. I've just gotten a new little girl, Yael-Krei, she's adorable." She pulled away with a grin and pointed to a bench, raising her brows to ask if he wanted to sit down. "Oood ow. Pway?" Good Now, play?
Jani had a present for her friend, she'd been carrying it ever since their last meeting. Her little hand dug in the pocket of her small pants and came out carrying a black claw on a rawhide string, a necklace. She smiled proudly and held it out.
"Oi's aw." Kuoi's Claw
It was her big brother's claw, they often... Came off for some reason and at Jani's request, had turned his second claw into a necklace to match the one around Jani's own neck.[large pic so... linky ----> Claw Pic]

"Well thats good, luckily for me its Junketsu and I. And yeah sure lets go." PJ headed over to a bench near the children so they could still play but where still in eye sight.
Junketsu took the necklace in her hands and ran her hand over the smooth claw. She really thought it was pretty, the way it looked in the sun amazed her. She got the idea and put it over neck.

Jani smiled happily and pointed to the one hanging from her own neck to show that they matched. Wanting to catch up with her friend, but also irritated that she couldn't speak as well as she'd like, she babbled a moment before the words came out somewhat properly.
"Ah wak! Canooo?" I walk! Can you?
Indu sat on the sunwarmed bench and shifted on the bench so she could see him more easily and smiled.
"Yes, you two seem very happy together... Only you two...? No one else?"
She glanced over to the babies and grinned when she saw Jani hand over the necklace, at least she now knew why Jani had thought it so important to make it.

Junketsu touched Jani's necklace and smiled, yep they were indeed the same."wak? oo. i and!" Roughly translated Junketsu said "Walk, no. I can stand!" And with that Junketsu reached at Jani's shirt and pulled herself up.
"Yes, we are very happy together. Very happy indeed. And yes its just the two of us. The rest of my family died, long ago. They were casualties of a war. I lost everything then, my family, and all of our money"

"Oh... Wow... I mean, my parents didn't want me, left me with an aunt and stuff... Wow... I was actually talking more of roomates and stuff. Y'know, I've got some people living with me, like a girlfriend or something like that.... Junketsu can stand? Cute!"
Jani shoved herself off the ground and tottered a few paces to show off for her friend.

"Well, nope no roomates either, as for a girlfriend not yet. And yep she just recently learned to stand, it was weird, we were out in the garden one day and she just stood up. So sudden as well."
Junketsu looked in awe as her friend began to walk, it was amazing how quickly Jani developed. Maybe sometime she could help Junketsu walk.

Jani was determined to master getting around, then she could teach her friend! And then... And then they could play more with the big kids!

Junketsu who was still standing at the time eventually had her knees buckle and plopped on the ground. "lay?" It seemed now Junketsu wanted to go play.
"Thats great, Junketsu has yet to manage walking, but she will when she is ready. She doesn't really need to walk, I have a bad habbit of spoiling her, quit a bit. And now, I never really get lonely. I have many friends and then there is Junketsu to keep me company."
