If you had to choose between the alignment of the Helic Republic and the Guylos Empire, which would you choose and why? Would your decision be based on the types of Zoids one has versus the other, or would it depend on the characters that fight for that side? Please explain your choice! Thank you! (There's also a third alignment, but I'll make up a special poll somehow for that one later. <3) Final Poll Results

Empire. I rather like the ligers in the Republic more, but...Helcats are fun too. Plus, so many great characters are from the Empire. Yes, the Schubaltz brothers are awesome and stuff, but they're not the only ones I'm thinking of. xd Rudolph, Marianne, Rosso, Viola (and I'm assuming most, if not all of his old gang), Prozen (at times), Heinz Welding (the leader of the Cerberus scientists), and Rokai are all Imperial aligned. mrgreen

Guylos, solid selection of zoids and characters. They have the Dark Army and some very nice stompy zoids. Not only do they have some nice stompies they have some great high tech/high performance zoids (Both Liger Zero and Bereserk Fuehrer are of Guylos origin, the organoid system originated with the Guylos too) and they even have their own Command Wolf xp

Sheesh. XD So many Imperials! Hey, who else voted for Republic? o_o;
Yeah, I'm siding with the Republic I guess. I mean... they have O'Connell, who is awesome. XD (in my humble opion) and I also rather enjoy the President. She's awesome.
Most of the Zoids models I own seem to be Republican too (or at least I think they are... haven't counted lately). Command Wolves are fun. =3 Plus there's my ever favorite Pteras!

I voted Republic. Why? Cause the name sounds cool. ;p
Plus, Liger Zero X. biggrin
In general I like the Zoids of the Republic the best.

Republic, easy. Regardless of the Zoids involved, I'd rather live under the leaders they had than any Guylos-y ones. (Wolff would be okay, though.)
Liger Zero X is anything but Republic...it was even involved in the whole burn the Republic capital and kill the president thing.

Wolfger I voted Republic. Why? Cause the name sounds cool. ;p Plus, Liger Zero X. biggrin In general I like the Zoids of the Republic the best. The Liger Zero was originally a Guylos design and and X armour was very much a Guylos creation too O_o

Really?? Odd.. the games I've been playing listes the Liger Zero and it's followings except the Liger Zero Empire as Republican Zoids.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, in Legacy the Zero X is most definitely under the Imperial listing.
And yes, technically the Liger Zero is a Republican Zoid as it was completed by them and first put into active service by the Republic. Thing is, both Liger Zero and Berserk Fuehrer(I mentioned this in my above post too >_>) were created and developed by the Guylos empire. Thing is, the Liger Zero prototype was stolen by the Republic in a battle where apparently Wolff and Ray Gregg both enter the Guylos hangar where the two zoids were. Wolff took to the Fuehrer and Ray to the Liger Zero, both which weren't complete at that point. The Reoublic having attained the Liger Zero, completed it and took advantage of the CAS ability to build three armour sets for the zoid. After it was completed though, the Empire managed to steal a complete Liger Zero from the Republic and then did it up themselves resulting in their own Liger Zero as well as the X armour.
