Resting underneath her tree, the green lioness was sprawled out and enjoying the cool breeze of the setting sun. Without the need to watch over Siltim all the time, Na'ilah found herself with more free time to relax and take things a little bit more slowly. A smile found its way onto her mouth as she thought about her cubs. Oh, she adored each and every one of them equally and secretly wished for more. That would be something she'd have to discuss with her mate about, since she didn't know his stance on having another litter. Well, no matter, it wasn't something to talk about right now, what was important was this beautiful sunset on the Prideland's horizon.

Mika'il had noticed that his mate wasn't in their den and set off to find her. He didn't need to worry about his cubs since this was a safe place and they were young adults now. His paws knew where to go, as his mate was always in her favorite spot if she had any time to spare. Her tree. Their tree. He smiled as he got closer, spotting her beautiful body in the distance.

Ears pricked forward as a familiar and dear scent came to her. Her mate's. A smile tugged at the corner of her mouth as Na'ilah waited to him to come closer so she could snuggle close to him. His presence sent a wave of warmth through her and made her feel comforted. In a soft voice, her head raised in his direction, "Mika'il, it's good to see you," She paused and tilted her head slightly, "Will you come and join me?"

Mika'il couldn't contain it any longer and smiled happly at his mate. Oh, she was a sight for sore eyes. He came to her, lowered his head and nuzzled her cheek affectionately. "Of course I will join you, Na'ilah. I would be delighted!" He went behind her, lied down and rested his head softly on her back, cuddling to her. "It is good to be with you again, we've had little time like this, Na'ilah."

His nuzzle was met with her's, as the green lioness closed her eyes in bliss and took in the moment. Na'ilah slowly opened her eyes and turned her head slightly as she could feel his weight against her back. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, "We haven't had much quality time together, Mika'il, but that'll all change since the cubs have grown up to the point that they don't need our guidance anymore..." Her voice trailed off, it was still hard on her, to think that she couldn't mother her cubs any longer since they were all young adults. She wondered what her mate thought about having more cubs. Sighing, she turned her head and wasn't sure whether to ask her mate or not. What if he didn't want more cubs? She would love to have more cubs, at least to have more cubs to pass around all the love that she has. Plus, perhaps with more cubs around, the two of them will learn to be better parents.

Mika'il listened to his mate before his brow furrowed together. Something was on her mind. He nudged her neck gently with his muzzle before licking her cheek, "Na'ilah, we have raised good cubs and we should be proud of them. We know they won't get into any questionable situations and that's because of the care we gave them. There is a time where we have to let go and move on." He eyed her carefully, "But something else is bothering you, Love. What is on your mind?

How could he read her so easily, she wondered silently to herself. Lime green eyes shifted their gaze towards her mate, biting her lip. Should she tell him? Should she not tell him? No, she had to tell him, she couldn't keep secrets or lie to her mate..that would never lead to anything good. Gathering up her courage, "I have been thinking, Mika'il..." She turned to look directly at him, "About having another litter. I would like to have more cubs, but I don't know about you, if you would want to have more cubs or not." There, she had said it and now a big weight felt like it was lifted off of her chest, though worry seeped in its place. She tried to find any indications in Mika'il's body language that he wouldn't want any more cubs.

Mika'il was surprised at his mate's question. He had never thought about it before...but, he loved cubs a lot! Plus, with a wonderful mother like Na'ilah, it couldn't hurt to have more. He smiled and licked her cheek, he knew she was worried. "Na'ilah, I would have no objections to having more cubs! The more, the merrier as they say!" He purred against his mate, cuddling closer to her. "We have four great cubs, what's to say that we won't have anymore great cubs."

All that weight, that burden had evaporated from Na'ilah as her mate would like to have more cubs with her. Lime green eyes twinkled in surprise and happiness as she inched her muzzle closer to lick her mate. "Mika'il! You have no idea how happy that makes me feel." Her tail flicked back and forth as she purred in content, spending this time with her mate and hopefully have more cubs in the future.
