I love second hand stores! heart The pride of my wardrobe is a green shirt (looks kinda like an Israelie army shirt) that I got for $3. I love mens' shirts, so I usually get tons while I'm at a thrift store. And any jeans that I can find, 'cause you can always do fun things to jeans. *sigh* I'm a fairly cheep person, and I hate having clothes that I have to worry about messing up, so I love thrift shops. *sigh*I wish I had more time to make clothes. I have a box full of fabric and tons of ideas of what to do with it, but no time to actually sew it together. Hmmmm... you've inspired me, I've just decided to devote my summer vacation to actually putting that fabric to good use ^_^

Ah, thrift shops... gotta love 'em! I lve buying old clothing, then headingh off to the fabric store to hunt down some interesting trims and such, then giving my findings from the thrift shop a bit of a facelift! Also, though generally not a good place to find clothing, I did manage to find a vintage skirt (which I absolutely love!) at a flea market last weekend.

One of my friends goes to thrift stores, like, every weekend. She just buys a million awesome skirts and pants. She also found a Little Mermaid blanket there for a dollar! It's so awesome!

Lavyne&DreamerSpirit yes modifying clothes you get from goodwill is what makes them look so original and presonialized also if you mess up on a piece of clothing while tryying to change it it's usaully sad but not that bad cause it cost you ussaully less then 5 bucks other then 30 if you got it from maceys or some store like that.

now for you Drunken Leprechaun its not that the good stuff is hiding from you its just you probably don't go often enough or look hard enough to find anything good trust me theres got to be something there you just haven't dug deep enough. but if you don't want to do all that hard work try making friend with the staff and let them get an idea of what your style is and they'll tell you bout stuff oyu might want to get it works for me also if you become close enough friends with them they'll give you discounts like you need them but there good to get anyways.
