Fedha had successfully made it back to the pridelands in a full day and night, no sleep needed. And everyone said it took three days travel between the Kusini lands and the pridelands, what a joke! He didn't know why he was tugged back to the pridelands, but he liked it better than those other lands. Besides, he was feeling uneasy around his mum and sister. Not to mention Ausi tagging along all day, poking fun of his largeness. The little brat, he'd show her one day. He didn't know when he decided he wanted to impress her so; impress her enough to shut her the hell up... one day it just took hold of his mind.
It didn't matter, nothing much mattered anymore. Ny was pregnant by some foolish, arrogant bloke and his mum was on some crazy.. 'quest' to save her only blood daughter. His family was nuts. So for a sinking moment he let the prophecy flash back into memory. Denge would die. Nothing matters. He loped slowly toward his once large rock, now it was barely big enough for him to sit on top of it. "Pah." He hissed out quietly and his steely eyes slid along the horizon. Where to go then? He was tired, very tired. He moved toward the direction of the actual pride rock. He had a lioness to visit. And maybe he would see what NaBe was up to...

The newly grown juvenile stretched beneath the sun, her deep green eyes surveying the area. Life had been content but somewhat dull, especially since she hadn't spent much time exploring. No. Ivie in fact had become rather secluded, especially after another hunting experiment had gone wrong.
A bird this time, flailing beneath her paws. Visions of pain, death, suffering and terrible fear had fileld her mind before being filled with an empty nothingness as death took the creature by the throat.
She had spoken nothing of it to her parents in fear of worrying them and Ivie knew deep down that there was no need to say such things. As long as she had her parents to hunt for her than everything would be fine. The trouble would come if she found ehrself out alone and starving.
With her 'condition' she would be unable to catch herself food....unless...
"Maybe...." She lowered her head to close her jaws amongst a clump of grass, tugging it free before chewing thoughtfully. Her expression was thoughtful, disgusted and then thoughtful again, undecided whether the grass tasted good or not. It had to atleast taste reasonable otherwise the rabbits and antelope wouldn't eat it.
It was then that she heard the faint hissing word and with a 'hmm' of interest she rose up from the long grass to set eyes on a very familiar lion indeed. Fedha'Kialio! He was much bigger and...something else. Ivie's heart skipped and with a small squeak she bounced towards him a few paces, trying to speak around the grass in her mouth.
"Feeh-kah-lo Ish-me!"

Well! That worked out well, almost as if the two had been drawn to the same spot. His eyes flickered over her form... she was bigger, but still small. It was because he was big, really. Bigger than her at least. His ears flickered back slightly at the obnoxiously cheerful voice, but perhaps he would humor her. Besides, it was better than that time she threw a crying fit, or whatever. A sly, sneaky smile sloated onto his features and he bowed his head. "Ivie, I was just looking for you." Bah shortening others' names was lame, but whatever. He was feeling lazy. And she might even take it as special treatment, or something.
His expression faultered when he realized what was in her mouth. "Why are you eating such crap?" He almost sounded angry about it. Shouldn't she be full on meat or something? He shook his head in displeasure and disappointment. Weren't these pride cats taught anything? He wondered where her father was.

She practically squeed and continued on towards him, pausing just a short distance from him. Then with a wide grin she chewed the rest of the grass and swallowed before giving him a reply.
"Grass doesn't have memories!" And as if that explained everything she continued to gaze at his much larger form. "Fedha'Kialio!" She squeaked, bouncing lightly on her forepaws. "You got big!" Her eyes were bright as she surveyed him and then with a flick of her golden brown tail she put on a sheepish, coy expression, batting her eyelids at him. "Why were you looking for me?"
As far as she was concerned, no matter how grumpy Fedha seemed on the outside he was a nice lion on the inside. He was the first lion to explain to her what she was and made her understand why they were different.
"D'yah wanna play orrrr....maybe go for a walk? Or did you want to chat about something else?" Her eyes glittered with curiosity.

Well it wouldn't be too hard to get what he wanted in this situation. "Ah, that's clever of you." He murmered out, giving her a smile that surely made it seem like he ment it. At least, he made it sound like he ment those words. Nothing better than buttering another lion up, right? Not that he'd really ever do that. For some reason it was easier to do things with Ivie this way, as opposed to getting her on her defenses.
"Oh, I don't know. Just thought I'd have a visit, since I haven't seen you in a while." He kept the smile on his face as he looked down at her, but he almost felt like vomiting after spitting out a sentence like that. "And you got bigger as well." He stated, head tilting and some of his mane falling into one eye. "Didn't you notice?" Though her growth spurt wasn't really as radical as his own..
"Ah, a walk would be really nice." And he got up on all four paws.

She beamed at him and took a small step back as he stood before replying. "I got bigger?" She laughed, "I just thought everything else got smaller." Okay so that wasn't quite true, but it would be interesting if it happened.
"I'm glad you came to visit, there's no one I really talk to around here and I missed you." She smiled, "you're the only lion who understands me."
Then with a low purr she moved closer to him and pointed with a paw. "Let's head over there." Then after a moment, "did you hear what happened here in the Pridelands?" She queried, flicking her ears towards the larger lion. She hoped he hadn't so that she could tell the story but who knew what Fedha saw in his dreams.

If you'd told Fedha he was to be adored when he was older ever... he'd probably laugh in your face. And then strike you across it. But here he was, and it was easy to see Ivie was fawning over him. Well, it was there anyways, Fedha wasn't entirely sure how hard it was to see that it was that. A small chuckle gurlgled past his lips, it was short but apparent that he was amused. "Everything smaller? That would certainly be an odd reality to live."
He nodded at her suggestion and began to head where she'd chosen. "Happened here?" He murmered softly out, glancing toward her. He shook his head. "No I have not, tell me?"

Ivie saw Fedha as a saviour, a friend, someone to turn to if you were in danger. He was her hero! Though maybe that was being a little over-dramatic.
"Yep. I didn't hear or see anything myself, but a while back the king here got murdered!" She gave a small laugh - strange considering Ivie was usually a sensitive soul. "Can you imagine that? Everyone was sleeping soundly and whilst they slept their leader was torn apart." She shook her head, ears flattening a little. "I can't believe we were being protected by such a weak lion. It's not as safe here as I thought!"
She sidestepped closer to the grey lion and with a small sniff raised her head up to gaze at him. "I think also...I think mama doesn't want to stay here no more. " Ivie sighed, "but I don't want to not see you again Fedha'Kialio. So...maybe we can meet up again before I leave and I can tell you where we are going?"
Or maybe she'd just stay here...who knew what life had in store for this little green girl.

Fedha stared at her with a slightly wide gaze, he'd never heard her speak like that before. He smirked just so slightly, eyes floating toward pride rock. "Murdered, huh? Well it is probably better to get away from these lands." Though he would definetly want to keep track of her, thoughts had grown and he had things in mind.
"Oh yes, we should definetly meet up before you leave. Friends need to know where friends are, after all." He said, giving her a slight but completely fake smile. "Who do you think murdered him?" He said suddenly, brows raising.

Ivie was exceptionally pleased that Fedha seemed to be interested in where she would be going. It was always nice to have a friend like him. Her eyes twinkled and she glanced up at him with a smile on her face.
"Okay."
Then, "I'm not sure how he got killed. Everyone was really upset but no one I spoke to knew anything." She shrugged, "I expect something will be done, I mean you can't just get away with killing a king...can you?" She shook her head sadly. "Killing is wrong."
Then after another pause she turned to gaze off in the direction they were heading. "Fedha'Kialio...where do you live? Do you have a Pride or are you a wanderer? You're my best friend but I just realised I know hardly anythign about you. Well, other than the fact that you have special powers."
