Cilche isn't so bad, it'll really depend on what happens on the trip. Plus you'd think something completely original would make Nano even harder. It sounds good to me regardless. Mine:

Title: TBA (I'm hoping something will hit me while I'm writing...)
Genre: Fantasy
Synopsis: It's a stormy summer night when a lone figure approaches a monastery. Around their neck a glowing pendant rests, signaling a massive change to the world is imminent. Flash back to almost a year ago where a master swordswoman, a prodigy cleric, a nonchalant assassin and a powerful mage with a knack for inventing meet and set the stage for the events to come.

Sounds a lot more cliche than it really will be but still summarizes it pretty well.

Title: Simply, No Apologies
Genre: Young Adult (GLBT)
Sypnosis: "Cassandra was plain. She was fine with that. She had her circle of friends, which, truth be told, consisted mainly of her best friend Andy and her dog.
One day, the 'football guys' play a juvenile prank on Andy that leaves Cassie fuming -- and determined to do something.
She starts doing research to figure out how to build a bridge between the straight students and gay students at her school.
What Cassie didn't except was for her school administration to be dead-set against the student club. She didn't think that she would actually have to fight for a club that aimed to promote acceptance among students.
But she's not working alone. Andy's willing to help however he can, and student journalist (and all-around wierd girl) Karma provides invaluable information and support.
In the end, Cassie discovers that she's not only learned so much about the world and people around her... but also herself."

That last paragraph needs some work. I made cover art and back art for the "book." (Although the girl in the middle on the cover is supposed to have dark blonde/light brown hair.)

Title: Late Confessions
Genre: (International) Romance
Synopsis: Ten years ago, Marie Swanson went to Japan on a study abroad program. Kenta Sugiyama, the leader of class 3-7, He gets more than he bargained for when his father, the school music teacher, and his mother decide to let the new exchange student, Marie, stay with their family. The pair of seventeen year olds spend one year together under the same roof, but it passes by quickly and Marie returns to America. Ten years later, Marie returns to the same school to find Kenta still there, but as her colleague. Many things happened between them but many things weren't said. Stay tuned to see what happens!

Notes: The novel will be written in English, and later translated into Japanese.

The cover design would have more item image details from their time ten years ago and in the present. The back cover image is very simple, and the summary would be listed on the back. The images used here are only for example. I would take my own photographs if it were to be printed.

Title:The Mother's Spoon
Genre: Romance
Synopsis: Feeling rejected by Fred[tenative name], the guy she's been dreaming of being with for the longest time, Lucy begins to question her self appearance and sexuality. Things begin to sink into a deep morass of emotional entanglements when she begins to have a relationship with an older man. After Lucy gets pregnant and is uncertain who the father is, how will Lucy be able to avoid the wrath of her mother's spoon?

Yeah... it's getting there.

Well I'm still not entirely sure I'm going to write about this, but there's one idea I've been kicking around for a while.

Title: None atm.
Genre: Fantasy
Synopsis: Dimitri is a wild mage apprentice, or for those that don't know, his spells are completely chaotic in nature. He could try casting fireball, and end up transforming something into a giant penguin . . . and he does just that on at least one occasion. In general, Dimitri doesn't care for the whole good and evil thing, and mostly just goes by whim, occasionally causing mass havoc, occasionally helping out. Usually it depends on just how pissed off he is and how lucky he gets when it comes to casting his spells as not only does he have the disadvantage of being a wild mage, but he's an apprentice one as well.

I have a few other story ideas bouncing around up in my head as well, but I figured I'd share this one since it's perhaps the most amusing of them. mrgreen

I'm not too sure I like this summary.




Title: TBD
Genre: Sci-Fi ish
Synopsis: Though it's become childish, the question of where we've come from, and more importantly why, has always been there. Scientists has theories, they have speculation and mind jumbling explainations but no real answers. So the question is, Where did we come from? What is the orgin of life?

The only worries Zoe, six, had ever had, had been about beating her brothers at their own games. Beating them at anything and everything humanly possible though she'd been the smallest, weakest and most feminine of seven. Even through the most underhanded schemes her naive little six-year-old brain can think of, she is without sucess. All she wants is to be the victor!

Her family is at the park again, the boys playing football and not letting their sister join in, again. Zoe spites them, and her parents who don't seem to care, and goes off by herself into the playground. A boy her own age, too pale for his own good, approaches her and changes everything.

Working Title: Dragon Prince

Genre: Fantasy, Historical Fiction

Synopsis(written off of the top of my head right now): Powerful samurai clans weren't something unusual, especially around Kyoto, the Imperial Capital.

But most clans weren't the Yutomo Clan. Appearing out of nowhere, five years prior, headed by a half-dragon and living in a fairytale castle. With power and riches equal to or greater than the local Daimyo, Utagawa, tensions were unavoidable between the two clans. Jealousies, petty fights and general animosity were expected. It was when the kidnapping and attempted assassinations began that things became complicated.

Throw in the sordid and colorful lives led by Yutomo Hotoma himself, and his closest friends, lovers and the slow realization that perhaps the feud is fostered by someone else entirely and it begins to bring the young lord to the brink of insanity.

EDIT: Okay. This doesn't even come close to all of my ideas. Gah. I'm focusing a lot on the lives of the TEN main characters, and that's the antagonist(s) not included. Damnit >.<
