He continued walking along, he wasn't quite sure where he was, his great white paws carrying him hopefully in the right direction, to find what he had been searching for for all too long now. How fast could they be? To elude him so many times, perhaps they could fly too, yes, it was probable, but K'Anatak had yet to see or know exactly who he was looking for.

So here he was, walking, somewhere, in some place he wasn't familiar with, again. He was a god yes, but he hated using an illusion to hide what he truly was, he was the god of reflection, and thus would constantly reflect upon himself, his actions, his choices to act how he would.

K'Anatak stopped by a small pool of water, glinting in the moonlight. It had just passed dusk, the night sky with the stars ready to play and sparkle in the blackness. The same dark black that was his eyes. Laying down next to the pool of water he looked within, saw his reflection, this was who he was. But traveling so much made him lonely. Only those he met along the way kept a happy thought in his mind and heart.

What would tonight bring him?

This night, this one night was the only time Malika'eusi had ever traveled as far from her home. The oasis was nearby and she could see it clearly as the moon lit it beautifully. As the lioness gazed at her surrounding she noticed a figure. A strange figure that seemed to compelle herself towards it.

The pale white female made her way toward it tilting her head as she moved, her fur rippling with her every movement. The adol's tail whipped back and forth as she moved toward the creature at the water.

It was not until she was close that she saw it was a lion "Hello?"

He was lost in thought for a few moments, trying to figure out what he could do to greaten his chances of finding the lost one. Seemed like nothing could help him thought unfortunately. The wind graced the turrain gently, making K'Anatak ruffle his wings and wraps them around him somewhat. He felt awfully cold tonight for some reason, he just couldn't place it.

K'Anatak heard a voice, it was soft, tender, innocent. He turned his black gaze towards the figure that was before him, almost pure white like himself, almost glowing in the night air, a smile upon his maw, she was out alone tonight too?

"Hello my dear," he spoke calmly, softly. He didn't want to scare her away from his wings being visible, he wanted to be kind, friendly. "What brings you out on a night like this? Wait, where are my manners, my name's K'Anatak," he bowed his head in her direction, still smiling. His eyes focused on her form, "May I ask for your name?"

She had fur the same hue as the other only with lime green colored markings under her violet eyes and the mark upon her left foreleg. Malika gazed in wonder at the others magnificent wings. Instantly she realized that the one she had spoke to was a god but said nothing yet.

"It is both a pleasure and an honor to meet you Sir K'Anatak, my name is Malika'Eusi, but please feel free to call me Malika." Malika then bowed her head in greeting and to be poliet. The adol was in awe of the god and answered his previous question "The beauty of it all, normally I wouldn't stray this far but it was as if the moon compelled me to so I could see its moonlit beauty on my home."

"May I ask what brings you here Sir?"

K'Anatak smiled at Malika, she was so calm, looked like a glowing star in the light of the moon. The stars shown brightly overhead even gave a tint of sparkle to her outline. "It is my honor to meet one such as you Malika, its been a while since I've begun to speak to others, and no need to call me sir Malika. K'Anatak is fine," he smiled.

Sometimes he wished his name wasn't so long so he could shorten it a bit for friends, his brother had called him 'tak' when they were young. But he wasn't sure how that would fit with him since he had grown.

"I've been traveling, searching for someone, yet to find them, please, come and sit, the reflection here is beautiful, the moon looks even larger," he side while extending his left wing to pat a spot beside him, and then for it to touch the top of the water slightly to have it ripple under his touch.

"The night is well, the moon bright, it's been a while since I could gaze up upon it at ease," his brother was still following him, he knew that, thats why K'Anatak kept moving, thats why he was lonely. Perhaps someday he could find a place to call his home.

Malika was calm, but still amazed by the wings that graced the males form. A slight blush graced her maw but faded quickly. "Well I would be happy to keep you company, at least for a time." The female then smiled at the god and cheerful and sincere just as her word.

"I hope that soon you find the person you have been looking for, please let me know if there is a way I can help you" Her soft voice replied to him hoping to be of help. "The moon is quite beautiful, imagen if the moon was looking down on you guiding you along....."

"I am glad that you have the opportunity here so close to my home lands to gaze at the moon." Malika told him thoughtfully before asking in a softer tone than normal "Are you a god?"

"Yes, for a time would be nice, soon I must go look again..." he was happy she offered to help, but he shook his head slightly, "This is something I must do, the one I look for is a lost part of me I must find, hopefully soon, thank you though Malika, means a lot it truly does..."

His black eyes looked up at the moon, it was so charming, if only it really could guide him in the right direction, he could only rely on his powers for now though. He lowered his gaze to look upon her again, Malika was quite nice to spend time with.

"Yes," his voice was quiet, his wings were an obvious sign, but most of the time others asked, "I'm the God of Reflection, I usually help others, guide them in a way, help them look upon themselves and such..."

"The time however short will be enjoyable." Malika replied cheerfully to the god. "Well then, K'Anatak, I wish you much luck on finding the part of you that you are looking for. Please if there comes a time that I may be of help please, do not hesitate to find me and let me know."

Her violet colored eyes followed his gaze up toward the moon, the reflection of the moon in her eyes sparkled slightly as she stared up at it. She was enjoying her time with the male, even if the two did not say too much to each other.

"You are the first god I have met, and I must say that you are much kinder than I would have expected." Malika told him before quickly adding "Not that I though god were mean, but there are some that from what I have learn that think so highly of themselves..." She trailed before adding "I'm sorry, I'm just going on speaking nonsense."

"God of Reflection? Is it nice being a god?" She asked him thoughtfully.

He smiled at her, this was nice, jsut speaking with another. Perhaps they would meet again someday, and she would be grown even more then she was now. He loved watching others grow, it made him yearn for a family of his own. "No worries, and sometimes it's nice, other times it may be a hassle, to do what you must, other's do not see me as a friend sometimes, fearing what I might make them see."

"But it is nice, your offer, and I appreciate it I do." K'Anatak felt something within him surge for a moment, close were they? Perhaps Malika had given him some luck. "Seems you are lucky my dear, I feel them close...my search begins once more," he stood up adn ruffled his feathers, extending his wings a bit. "We will meet again, I am sure, and if you ever need my help Malika, do not hesitate to ask of me, I will find you..."

He didn't want to leave, but he would have to, but he did want to make sure he would be able to find her again, "Where is your home Malika? So perhaps I can visit you again?"

Malika returned his smile with a cheerful one of her own. The female hoped that they would meet one another again hopefully sometime in the near future. "I think that having the future be a mystery is one of the best parts of life, because then you will never know what life will throw at you which only makes things more interesting." Malika's cheerful reply rang out as she opened her mouth to speak then changed her mind.

"That offer will always remain open." The pale lioness then told him after he had spoken. "I am happy to have helped." A smile remained on her maw however she was slightly disappointed that their meeting was such a short one. "I would love to see you again, whenever you are free...." She paused and then said "If I need help I will ask you, thank you for allowing me to be able to." The female was tempted to ask him of one to know if he knew anything of him but decided that it could wait until the met next time.

She bowed her head toward him when she finished her last sentence before answering his next question "I live in the oasis" Malika then turned toward it before continuing "I would both be honored and love to have you come visit me."

"Then in the oasis I will be able to find you, perhaps by then I will have found the one I seek, until then Malika," he smiled and flew up into the aira, gazed down upon ehr white form until he got too far away to see. yes, he would visit her again, another friend, this one in Malika. Times seemed to be good for K'Anatak, and he was glad.

"I wish you the best of luck K'Anatak!" The female then paused before adding as he faded from her vision "Farewell until next time!" A smile crossed her lips as she turned making her way back to the oasis.
