Have you ever read a book, and afterwards, you've just felt so...Fullfilled? Or a book that was just so touching, so good, that you felt so well, moved after you read it?

Yes! I love it when that happens...it happened to me the most during Les Miserables (abridged), Han Nolan Books, and A Tale of Two cities.

I just experienced that this morning once I finished The Thirteenth Tale. It's such a wonderful feeling, so it is.

I agree that Les Miserables is very touching, especially when it's performed.

A book that I've felt this way with, I guess, would have to be Bowery Girl, by Kim Taylor. Whenever I read a book that I truly like, I feel this way...

There has been quite a few books that touched me in different ways.

Lord of the Flies by William Golding touched me on different levels about how crule people can just be.

The Lovely Bones made me want to cry from sick and twisted people.

The Uglies, Pretties, and Specials triology by Scott Westerfeild touched me due to the fact it is bacially a sci-fi look on media directed beauty.

At the moment I can think of "A Canticle For Leibowitz." It's my favorite book.

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. That book always does the job for me.

I would have to say The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I read the French version first, and I kind of enjoy that one more, but the message was still the same for me. Being a big traveller, it taught me valuable lessons about making friends and how to deal with being away from them. It also taught me how to be responsible, how not to judge, and that my friends are always with me.

My brain is kinda dead today since I'm tired but the one that's coming to mind when I think of books that move me is Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King.

The only book that has ever touched me that deeply would have to be The Bronze Bow, dunno who its by, because I read it for school, in 6th grade.
Anyhow, the start and middle were nothing special, no touching parts there, but the very ending was so touching.... it made me cry, like, tears, not just watery eyes. That was the first time I have ever cried at a book.

Although, I get watery eyes at some other books I read, but I am tired and cannot think of them at the moment.

I feel fulfilled after nearly all the books by Terry Pratchett. After reading "The Book Thief", by Markus Zusak, I felt like I could never read a book again, because nothing would ever be as good. It was actually a pretty saddening feeling, and I started crying. Or maybe it was just buildup, from not crying at the seriously depressing bit near the end. Still haven't found anything more incredible than it, but I have continued reading.

There have been quite a few books that have moved me in some way. Not necessarily in a good way, but they've moved me.

Carrie by Stephen King chilled me slightly, while his one other book Eye of the Dragon I think it's called froze me mostly with fear. I wouldn't put the book down until the end and I was sure the trouble had been resolved!
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden was beautiful. I felt quite a bit of sympathy at the cruel world that was the Gion Geisha community, but I loved it all the same.
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami was just addictive. Pure addiction. I felt curious about the way the people worked, as each character was different and thought differently and it intruiged me to know why. The man who could talk to cats was especially fascinating, and the boy who ran away from home also made me want to read more about his escapades. It was a thrilling book that make me think more about my own life and where I was going with it and if I was comfortable in it.

There are many more...but I've pretty much forgotten. Time to do some more reading!

I tend to always get moved emotionally when the plot kind of escalates to something completely different all of a sudden. Almost like an adrenaline rush. I love the feeling of being suspicious about something, maybe a particular detail, only to have them come true at the end!
I've actually cried, numerous amounts of time while reading a book.

I recently just finished The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. It was astounding, and I truly do feel moved. Anyone who hasn't it read it definitely needs to!
