According to the Gnostic faith, God is the excrements of the superior Goddess, Sophia. She had created "God" also known in the faith as Yaltabetith, through her excrements. He was arrogant and thought of himself as the only one.

What? Man! That is....really weird. I perfer to go with what my dad says, God was the Big Bang. Big "high and mighty" was all alone, as God was all that existed, and wanted company...so God made the universe out of the only that that existed...God. Would that make us kind of like God turds?

It's really a bit more complicated than that, and Gnostics don't agree on most points.

I have to say I like the Gnostic Gospels more than any of the other religions.

I like that idea, now i wonder how long til its twisted and used for wrong purposes, used to start a war, disprove and keep non-believers down. We all shall argue about what color of s**t we are now!

In Gnostic Gospel the "god" that people worship is not the true enlightenment but a farce figure. The eating from the tree of knowledge was supposedly a way to break free from the false "god." The snake was actually Sophie, mother of the fake "god," and it was her attempt to free us from the farce "god."
