The invitations for the party had been sent out to all, delicate little cards adorned with ghosts and pumpkins, reading only a location, a time, and a request to come in costume. And, of course, that there would be free snacks.
In anticipation of the guests, the large room in the dark, creepy-looking house had been decorated according to the holiday. Fake cobwebs had been strung on the trees in the yard and across tables inside the room, and not-so-fake cobwebs had been left to accumulate in the high ceiling rafters and window corners. Orange and black streamers were draped across the roof and walls, and a ghastly carved pumpkin lit from inside sat on the corner of each table to frame the bowls of chips, punch, and assorted Halloween candy.
Although music for dancing was playing over carefully hidden speakers, it was quieter on the other side of the room where a number of chairs and sofas sat, each one draped with black fabric.
Over the main entrance hung a sign eerily reminiscent of dripping blood, that read "Happy Halloween!"
((This thread is open to every Audio who wishes to join in. In the spirit of the party, I would ask that participants come in costume, and any romance beyond what is considered casual should be taken to other threads. Thanks guys, and have fun! =D ))

o O (*will post when I can* Hope ya don't mind me throwing a troll into the kitchen)  Malis was happy. It had been a good hunt and even better time in the kitchen. She had had to terrorize one of the audio in there until they let her bring in the carcass and make a few... interesting plates of food. Most of it was actually quite taisty but at the first glance looked very suspicious. Fish, some small game, and plenty of fingerfoods were prepared along with a few small desserts provided by Pip... those she put to the side so he could deal with them. Looking around at the table she grinned toothily and then wandered off to adorn her costume she had made. As a joke, and suggested by Immi, she had managed to fashion a dragon costume from scales and such. Though at first glance she looked like a scaled demon with a reptillian headdress... Keyboard set up and her mbira in a corner, Immi was excited. She hoped the host wouldn't mind her bringing some entertainment along with her. The musical audio chuckled at her costume of choice, a lion outfit in a tutu. Twirling around she looked around for her mask to complete the disguise. This was her first haloween event and she couldn't wait to join in the celebrations. Pip was already in his costume, a Shakeperian actor, complete with feathers in his hat and one in his paw. He had practiced a little calligraphy and was trying to walk and compose a poem at the same time. His gaze siddeled over to Immi before he shook his head slightly. This was his thing, he didn't want her to find someting to hold over him. He plopped down on the couch and sighed slightly, words were not his medium, he much prefered to sketch and capture the emotions in a heartbeat than to try and meter them out into prose.

Saix padded into the little 'event', Halloween huh? With his new look he'd fit in even without a costume. He wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing. Flopping on a nearby couch he poked at one of his new fangs. Not noticing anyone that he really knew at first glance, he decided to just relax and wait for someone to talk to him, he wasn't someone who to make the first interaction. On the other hand, Bandages, entering soon after Saix, was someone to just bounce in and ask meaningless questions. Though her costume was...lacking a certain something. She had simply gotten out all of her bandages and rolled them around her body, becoming a makeshift 'mummy', "Ooooh, this place is creepy!" Her eyes set on Saix for a moment before she realized that he scared the living daylights out of her, instead she decided to sniff around for some caramel apples to hoard.

Halloween was a PERFECT time for Demyx to get back out of the castle and socialize more. The musician had been hiding out there ever since the little run in with that...thing at the beach, but being stuck there was starting to get tiring.
But hrm...how to use the new wings and such to his advantage at a Halloween party? Well Luxord had made comments about how he thought of him as a little angel...
So, black robes replaced with white, the wings and halo now made a perfect costume, if a little cliche. Oh well, Demyx wouldn't mind anyway.
It probably wouldn't be hard to miss him in the party, the glowing golden circle above his head a rather dead giveaway that he had arrived. For the moment he was alone, but it was almost certain Luxord would join him at some point. Looking around for anyone he knew, the sitarist first spotted Bandages. Eh, that was still a somewhat touchy subject...best to let her approach him first.
But....on the couch. That winged Audio looked strangely like Saix. Tilting his head, Demyx studied him for a moment before scooting over to the couch.
"Saix? Is...that you?"
The angelic hopped onto the couch next to Saix, grinning at him excitedly.
"That's a REALLY good costume!"

Staring at the spaz that had plopped himself on the couch next to him, he stared, eyebrows quirked at him.
"Demyx? ...don't tell me..." He groaned and slapped his forehead. "You got hit by the little bugger too huh?"
Leaning down towards Demyx he held his head out to him. "Go ahead and tug on those horns...they arn't fake and this most certainly isn't a costume. You of all people should know I don't like playing stupid dress up games." It was at this moment he noticed what Demyx was wearing. "Should've known..."

"Too?"
Demyx blinked at Saix and nearly backed away as he noticed the eyes. Whoaaa what the HELL was up with that? The horns distracted him for a moment though, and the sitarist reached up to give a single gentle tug. He was too much of a scaredy-cat to do anything else to Saix, as the berserker still scared him.
"So...you changed too? But...I didn't know the change could be like....different."
At least he looked somewhat like Nahira, as far as wings and halo and stuff went. And Bandages too...but Saix here looked WAY different.
"I saw it though! In the grass at the beach...well I saw it's tail, not much else..."
Demyx hung his head, sighing a bit. Again he failed, failed to catch a real glimpse of what that thing had been. Then he could have told Saix and maybe been useful...darnit.
"How...long have you been this way?"
The sitarist hadn't gotten used to his wings yet. Enough to keep them from totally dragging on the ground, yes, but from their ruffled and somewhat dirty appearance on the ends of the feathers it was obvious he still didn't have the strength to totally lift them and thus let them drag a bit.

 He had not discussed comming to the halloween party with Demyx but he knew the musician would be there. It was a given that any place that involved fun and the perhaps giving of candy would attract his angel.
After seeing Demyx leave the castle dressed as his new nickname he decided to give into a little thought in the back of his head. Dressed still in black he walked into the party calmly.
His coat was still black but this was a far simpler one, with a small white collar gracing his neck. Perhaps no one would get the implications but he would know and he would get amusement out of it for weeks.

"Don't worry about it Demyx..." He lifted his head back up. "I had a chat with it before it changed me and got some information. It's young. It's female. And it likes talking in rhymes."
"I've been this way ever since you left the forest that night. Nahira and I got in a bit of an arguement. She left for a while. It caught me off guard. I was stupid, I got what I deserved."
Saix's eyes focused on someone just entering. "Looks like your care taker is here." He raised his hand and waved Luxord over. "Luxord, over here, looks like you misplaced your little choir boy."

 Kaleb had never really liked Halloween. Just the thought of a holiday involving fiends and demons and all sorts of frightening things made him want to hide away in a nice, safe, brightly lit room with his books.
He still wasn't sure he wanted to attend the party, and he fidgeted nervously wearing the traditional outfit of his class. The white robes were long enough to trail on the floor if he was not careful, the hems of it's long sleeves and hood embroidered with red triangles and gold edging. It was a good enough costume to fill the requirements, and the familiarity took the edge off his anxiety.
When he caught sight of Demyx sitting on a nearby couch, he forgot about the creepy atmosphere surrounding him. He half-ran over to the friend he hadn't seen since the transformation, nearly tripping over the front of his robes as he jumped at Demyx and hugged him impossibly tight. "Demyx! I'm so glad you are okay!" He exclaimed. "I-I was so worried..."

Wow...Saix seemed actually kind of...pleasant, to be around. It was certainly a change. Despite how scary he looked on the outside, was he actually starting to feel on the inside?
"I haven't been this way very long...I'm still trying to figure out how to completely work the wings..."
Demyx had started to look up to see Luxord, but suddenly had a very excited Kaleb hugging him. The sitarist gave one fearful yelp before realizing who it was that was so attatched.
"KALEB!"
Grinning happily, the blonde hugged his friend back.
"You were?...but..I'm okay now! Still adjusting but......thank you..."
Kaleb had helped so much by healing over his wounds. Sure it didn't stop the pain, but it did keep him from having horrible scars the rest of his life.

Seeing the winged and horned creature that looked like Saix he raised a brow. So little angels werent the only thing that their kind could turn into. That was rather intresting. Though seeing Demyx on the couch with Saix didnt exactally please him.
Seeing Kaleb tackle Demyx made him laugh as he walked over. "Well if it isnt my two favorite boys .... and the blue haired b*****d." He said the last with a grin on his face rather than biting out the words. They were in public so he couldnt exactally hate Saix openily without causing a fight. Besides, he didnt want to upset Demyx.

The red-finned male stared at the vision before him before covering his eyes with a hand and shaking his head as if pleading for a return to sanity.
"You can't be serious wearig that to a Halloween party? It's creepy, given half the things I know you draw, babe."
Namine gave the bows on her pigtails a final tweak before turnign and grinning. Brushign a paw against the short, blue plaid skirt, she winked impishly up at the dark male.
"Nothing wrong with schoolgirl outfit, 'mulu. And I am not indecent, so shush and finish getting ready."
Ormulu sighed and finished applying a pair of glittery deelybops to a headband and sliding it onto his skull.
"Just spare us all the obligatory japanese schoolgirl pantyshot, eh? And considering i am going as a low rent Man From Mars, I'm as ready as I will ever be. So let's go."
**A Little Later that Evening**
Ormulu reluctantly let Namien drag him inside the house, mentally reminding himself that this was a small scarifice to insure that she didn't get drunk and dance topless on the table or anything. Why did I get stuck playing big brother tonight, he wondered silently.
Namine looked around, hoping to see someone she knew. She had already spotted Demyx and vaguely recalled him from that day at the beach, but didn't think he'd really remember her. She bit her lower lip for a moment. His angel costume looked a little more authentic than was usual... He couldn't have become a real angel, could he?

Saix moved away from Demyx and his 'attacker'. "A...friend of yours Demyx?" Saix stared at him. He looked...well he was a very very tiny little boy.
He rolled his eyes at Luxord. "Not much of a b*****d anymore, kept the blue hair though." Letting out a slight laugh he moved over and gave the seat next to Demyx open for Luxord. "What have you been up to you whore collecting gambler?"

"I'm so glad you are okay," Kaleb said in a bare whisper, not letting go of his friend even when Luxord walked over.
He glanced over as Saix spoke, in time to catch a stare that sent a frightened shiver run down his back, right to the tip of his tail. He couldn't help but cling tigher to Demyx as he was suddenly reminded of why he shouldn't go to Halloween parties.
