is it true that you can prevent aeris's death ???? i found a cheat on it before i beat the game im wondering if it is true

No. Aeris dies. Its part of the story, its unchangeable. You can get her back in your party using Gameshark and things like it, but thats it.

their is speculation that in the japanes version there was a way to keep her from ever being killed but I cant say for sure.

ok well thanks for clearing that i read that somewhere on a internet site a long time ago when i was still playing it but i finshed the game so i was just wondering still its too bad aeris dies

Cloud Kismat their is speculation that in the japanes version there was a way to keep her from ever being killed but I cant say for sure. This is just a rumor. It's probably based on the game that was *almost* published in Japan, which did not include Tifa and did not have Aeris dying. Many believed that, even though they changed it to include Aeris' death, the creators had a soft spot for her character and left a way for you to revive her in the game. But this is entirely false. I've actually read an interview thing with the guy who started the biggest rumor about her resurrection. He's probably where they got the idea that it's in the Japanese version, but not the English one.

A PS magazine once printed a guide on how to bring her back. We followed it all the way until the trail ran dry. Apparantly the programmers ran out of time and couldn`t include the rest of this story, but the start of this story does exist! Still I think it`s best that they didn`t finish it.

if you stoped Aerith from dieing you would compleatly ruin the game, for one cloud would not have had the same drive to kill seph (yes i know he killed clouds mom and burned his home town but aeris death just pushed him that bit harder), and if areith was still alive she wouldn't have been abel to have used the "Holy" materia and the world would have been ******** any way

Aeris dies, that's it, end of discussion. The Gameshark though can put her back into your party by some way of a miracle glitch. The only rumors that I ever found that had a shred of validity to them were the theories that, not that she wasn't supposed to die, but that she wasn't supposed to die at the temple of the ancients, but rather, at the northern crater. Aeris dies, and there's nothing anyone can do about it crying .
With the gameshark cheat thing, that just puts her in your party and lets her act as one of the fighters in your party...however, she won't talk or interfere with the storyline at all, so it would be pretty useless to resurrect her.

the orinal copy when they first made FF7 she was not supposed to die but they changed it at the last minute choice

I heard rumors that in the Japanise version, if you bring "White Materia" into the church in Midgar, you see a shadow of Aris. Others say that you actully get her in your party at that moment. Most belive that you can get her back because you get Aris's ultimate weapon after she dies. Im not supporting any of this, however.

In the strategy guide it says you can try. I don't think you could actually do it.

It made the story line better, but during the game I didn't think she was going to die, but I saw sephiroth fall from the ceiling and stab her! It was out of the blue,it was depressing........................................... crying
