Just thought I'd make a list of good links for information and media about Xenosaga. UPDATE- 06.30.05: Weeded out the dead links and updated with live ones where applicable, check replies for newer links.
http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=6208 My post with scans from Weekly Xenosaga II - just in case it gets lost later.
http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=6202 Another of my posts with Trailers and video captures - again just in case it gets lost.
http://www.xenosaga.com Official Episode 1 site - the US site contains a good deal of media (but you have to sign up - it's free though) like hi-res images of characters and promo art, among other things.
http://www.xenosaga.jp The Xenosaga "special site" - only in Japanese, but it contains a good deal of media regarding the most recent episode. Update: The site is now closed, however; I've backed up the site with a site-grabber program and uploaded it to my server so the content is still accessible even after it closes. Here's the link, I'm still working on repairing some things but most of the content works: http://www.shojokakumei.net/xsjpbkup/www.xenosaga.jp/top.html
http://www.namco-ch.net/xenosaga2/index.php Namco's official XSII site - has a number of images of characters, etc and story information (all in japanese though).
http://www.monolithsoft.co.jp/left/special/pied-piper/index.html Monolith's official site for the XS: Pied Piper cellphone game series. (Japanese only)
http://www.zenosaga.com An excelent fan site, with up-to-date news about the series and a large media section. New member registration isn't up at the moment (they turn it off from time to time) but the webmaster has indicated that it may be opening up again near the end of the month. http://www.the-ethos.org Formerly Zenosaga.com, the webmaster, Int, was in the process of doing a major overhaul of the site in the past few months (only the BBS is functional, it requires that you name an existing member as a refferer in order to join - I'm a member currently so if anyone wants to name me as their refferer please pm me and tell me you are and what username you're signing up there with so I know who you are when they check with me - and if I reffer you please behave! not that I think anyone here would act up but if I reffer someone who causes trouble it reflects rather poorly on me there) the future of the site is uncertain as many of the developers/admins have lost faith in the series because of recent news of screwups at Monolith.
http://www.u-tic.org Run by the same team that created zenosaga.com, this site has translations of Xenogears: Perfect Works and Xenosaga: Official Design Materials - very handy to cite either to support theories. Currently offline, originally planned to be reincorporated into the new incarnation of zenosaga.com, the-ethos.org, though the fate of both sites is very uncertain at present.
http://jetfuel.metalbat.com/madness.html The Xenosaga Madness Project - a fan translation effort headed by Jetfuel to aide non-Japanese-speaking importers along with the game. Episode II's translation is already well underway. STALLED translation stalled last year and never picked up again before the US release, unlikely to be continued.
http://www.onegaistudios.com Onegai Studios - They've begun Program X Season 2 (I'm helping with the ftp ^_^) where they'll be ripping and subtitling all the sequences from Episode II. A great refference for those who have imported and don't want to wait for the US release to understand it. (disclaimer: you're not *suposed* to download these files unless you own a legitamate copy of the game you're downloading files from) UPDATE Not entirely sure what's going on with this group, the Program X Season 2 project stalled after the first episode was released. It looks like there are efforts to revive the project now but I'm not really up on things there.
http://www.kos-mos.org/kosmos/ Complexity - an indepth shrine to KOS-MOS, excelent media section.DEAD
http://www.ayame.nu/jr/ Devil's Luck - another shrine, this one's for Jr.; lots of gorgeous dojinshi scans and a good deal of information.
http://lunar-seal.net/elsa/ Elsa Bar - the most notable feature of this site is probably the dojinshi translations. They also have a chaos shrine.
http://n.ethz.ch/student/wmartin/ RPG media collection - has a number of screenshots and clips of the Double Techs from XSII.
http://chocolateshop.m78.com/ Choco's Gallery(ish) Site - Choco is the original designer of KOS-MOS and all the mechs seen in Xenosaga, there isn't really that much Xeno related artwork on the site, but if anyone can read japanese (or make any sense of babelfish's translation) he's publishing another Xenosaga compilation - Xeno Emission E1 - I'm not sure if this will be available outside of Comiket (dojin convention-thing) but I'm trying to find out more information as Xeno Emission Preview (published in 2002 - from what I could get out of the babelfish translation this new book is building on the Preview book) had a good deal of design sketches and what not. (Japanese only site)
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/game/37159.html The Gamefaqs page for Episode II FAQs, some very helpful walkthroughs are contained on this page - Jetfuel's translation is also available through here as well.
http://www.geocities.co.jp/CollegeLife-Lounge/6906/episode_ii_1.html http://www.geocities.co.jp/CollegeLife-Lounge/6906/episode_ii_2.html These are links to the infamous "leaked documents" they came up on some message board prior to episode 1's release in Japan, after playing episode 2 many believe that these leaks have been proven true for the most part.
That's all I can think of if anyone else has links feel free to post them here.

Since I don't feel like editing the first post right now I'll post my latest finding here. I almost broke my laptop when I found this but, this site has all of the cutscenes from episode 2 at about medium quality (the contrast/brightness is kind of off so you can't see a whole lot during the shiny sequences because they look mostly white). Just a disclaimer though, you're not *suposed* to download these files unless you own a copy of the game.

Ziggurat the Eighth Some of those links don't work o_O; Anyway, here's another link with xenosaga music http://bluelaguna.net/music/xs/mp3s.php Speaking of that... does anyone have a translation for the final song on disc two, it was the trailer song. I've fallen in love with the song, the rhythm and transition is just brilliant. But I just wish I knew what they were saying. I think it's in Latin to, because the singer says Consoli, which I believe means console...

Ziggurat the Eighth Some of those links don't work o_O; Well I haven't checked/updated that list in several months so it's to be expected... But new link of interest! Translation of the Pied Piper cellphone game: http://zarathustra.kaisho.org/I highly recomend this one, much easier to read than the one on GameFAQs and it's complete -- not to mention Pied Piper is just really good (especially when compared to crap like Episode 2's second disk). And Yuriev plays a suprisingly big role in it - more than enough reason to go read it. *is now a total Yuriev fangirl* Oh and about the song. None of the songs, save Sweet Song (the english one), have actual lyrics -- that is to say they're giberish that kind of sounds like Japanese/Latin/Italian/French/Etc (I was sure Sakura #2/3 Simple Vocal Version was in Latin or Italian but my friend and I could only pull out the occasional word or phrase and none of it made any sense in the context). But Yuki Kaijura (the composer) frequently uses "gibberish" in her music, and I believe she's reported to have specifically mentioned that only Sweet Song had lyrics in a real language of all the songs on the Episode 2 soundtrack (I don't have the source on that though...).

I keep forgetting to post this here, but there's a group working on translating the ODM right now and they've got a significant ammount of material finished already, the translations are very literal sounding (in other words they're not "englishified" very much at all) so they're a little akward and difficult to understand sometimes but on the whole they're quite informative: http://home.comcast.net/~amablue/designmaterials.html

Ziggurat the Eighth And there were only three? (well, five if you count the other's) o_o I must have been drunk. I just made you go through all those links- I'm so sorry! -runs off in shame-It needed to be done and it only took about 5 minutes (and I'm incredibly bored so it gave me something to do!) so don't feel guilty about it. ^_^ There were about 6 dead/wrong links I think, the guild ones were wrong because I hadn't updated since they changed some things with linking and some of the other ones I kind of knew would be dead by now because they were never very reliable in the first place. I need to go dig up some of my good japanese links and post them since there is much pretty japanese fanart and information that is easily babelfish-able.
