Oh ******** another child is going to ruin Doctor Who again *points to the Absorbaloff designer from last year* but this time they actually get a part in the show! Which i suppose isnt bad as long as they're shoved as an extra and not a main character or something >_>; because there are people who've worked for years in the industry and they dont deserve to be shoved aside by a stage-fright driven child.

Urgh... please.. no repeat of Love & Monsters PLEASE.

I wonder if this is for the 'Doctor-less' episode they have to have each series? Like it was with Love and Monsters - they have to have an episode where he hardly appears so Tennant can go on holiday.

Also I think that you're being a little harsh on the Absorbaloff kid. It's not his fault that they decided to interpret his monster as Peter Kay in a fat suit.

I was thinking of entering but when i saw the 14 and under rule i was a little mad but then i thought i am a fan of the 9th doctor and doctor who is going along fine as it isI dont need to ruin it nor does anyone else.

His idea what completely stolen though. I've seen it countless times in classic Sci Fi stories before. If you've seen some of the other entries to that competition you'd be horrified the absorbaloff ever won. Some of them looked so incredible D:

His idea what completely stolen though. I've seen it countless times in classic Sci Fi stories before. If you've seen some of the other entries to that competition you'd be horrified the absorbaloff ever won. Some of them looked so incredible D:

I agree. I'd seen some on BP XD They were awsome and origonal. Why'd they have to choose an almost cliché monster?

Well yes but a) he is a kid and so everything's original to them and b) this is Blue Peter we're talking about. So really you should blame them.

Plus how many really original monsters are there in Doctor Who each season? There are some, and they're great, but what about zombie-style patients? What about werewolves? It's all about what they do with them and I think even with the Absorbaloff monster they could have done it a lot better.

God knows why I'm argueing this kid's case... but I know I'd be annoyed if I designed a monster that got into my fav. program and it got hijacked by both a comedian and an episode with no Doctor in it.

Yes i have to admit i do feel pretty bad for the kid =/ apparently they completely changed the monster he designed it's whole planet and back story and everything to make it more slitheen like. It wasnt fair to him really =/
