Some of you probably have already heard but...

Bungie have announced two new Halo game projects – the Halo Wars real time strategy game from Ensemble and the 'yet to be revealed' Halo project to be made in partnership with Lord of the Rings and King Kong director, Peter Jackson. Both projects are for Xbox 360.

alright, well just to let you know. the so called "unkown" project with peter jackson working on it you mentioned is the new upcoming halo movie which is slieghted for the summer of next year.
and halo wars is actually a MMO not a real-time strategy.

I already knew about the movie, but they are talking about the Wingnut Interactive side of things, which is more to do with gaming. (Apparently)

A console exclusive RTS? Yeesh...stupid 360 *grumbles*

I'd love to see this on the PC...the graphics look awesome and I'd love to play a Halo RTS but is it worth getting a 360 for?

yeah dont know anything about that.

but yeah halo wars was always sleighted to be an MMOFPS. i work at gamestop and we have these promo dvd's were suppossed to play and they talk about it a lot on one of the more recent ones.

Yeah I'd prefer playing it on a PC, I think I've only played one RTS on a console and it was so fustrating. Then again that was at least 5 years ago. RTS should be kept for PCs personally. Though it will be interesting to see how they get it to work. If they don't turn it into an MMO that is.

i dunno about a RTS on a console though...I played about 5 minutes of Command and Conquer one a console once :/

but the video looks awesome

I saw the trailer for Halo Wars,now I'm sad cry
I'M TOO STUPID WHEN IT COMES TO CHOSING GAME SYSTEMS!
I had a choice between the Game Cube,the PS2,and the X Box and I chose gamecube.Only because I had played this really gay shooting game on it when my bro had it and I was used to the controls....I want an X Box so badly crying

I'd still get it though, mainly coz I have a lot of respect for Bungie and trust that everything will turn out alright. However I'm not going to give up my hopes that it will come out on a PC eventually though. wink

Microsoft wouldn't be able to pass it up, I'm sure

Yeah it is hard to choose when there are so many promising games coming out. I bought myself a copy of Ghost Reckon:Advance Warfighter with plans to get a 360 later down the track and I've just Pre-ordered my self a Nintendo Wii! xd

Meanwhile GRAW lives at my friend's house and I play it every now and then when I visit, so its not just sitting on my shelf collecting dust. 3nodding
