 You slowly make your way along a small dirt road through the dense forest. After what seems like an eternity, you emerge from the dark trees onto a brightly lit open field. The road leads down the field before stopping in front of an enormous rod iron gate. Equally tall walls stretch out from the gate in both directions. Beyond the gate you see many different buildings situated along neat little paths, and people bustling about. A slender woman is standing at the side of the gate, clad in a gray uniform. She looks up and smiles at you.
"Hello, my name is Laura. Welcome to Tenshi University!"

Glissa slowly strode down the main walkway toward the entrance to the school. It was a beautiful day. The sun was out, a few clouds drifting by overhead, and you could hear some birds chittering away in a near by tree. At the entrance both of the gates were swung open, and a long silk red ribbon was draped across the entrance. On the other side of the ribbon was a large crowd of people watching her.
When Glissa reached the ribbon, she spread her arms out to the crowd and smiled at them, her fangs glinting in the light.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for coming to the grand opening of Tenshi High! This institution's main goal is to provide a exciting learning environment for creatures of all races. Now..." She reached down and unsheathed her katana and held it up to the light. In a flash she swung the katana downward, slicing the ribbon, and re-sheathed it. After regaining her posture, she looked back at the crowd.
"Let the learning begin!"

Jayme watched the opening ceremony from a short distance behind a tree. She had not truly wished to attend Tenshi High, but her old master had insisted upon it, saying that there would be great opportunities for her and a chance for her to do some good in the world. So there she sat at the base of a tree as a white-haired demon sliced the ribbon, announcing the school's opening.
"Why did I have to come here? I can sense that this isn't going to work. Well, maybe I will meet someone like myself," she said out loud to herself, attempting to persuade herself that everything would be alright.
"I guess I better go in." She rose to her feet and moved toward the entrance door.

Glissa stepped aside as the people streamed past. There were many new faces, and some familiar ones too.
"Eh, it's a start..." She leaned back against the wall, eyes closed. Her senses were going haywire. So many people with different powers and scents all crammed into one space! It was going to take some getting used to. Just then Glissa sensed a peculiar energy. She opened her eyes and glanced out towards the woods. A young girl with long brown hair was heading up towards the gates. Perhaps she was a student here... Glissa waited untill the girl had walked a little ways through the gates, then walked up next to her from behind.
"Hey... My names Glissa. What's yours?" She smiled down at the girl, then quickly wiped the smile off her face. She had almost forgotten that her fanges bared when she smiled. Scaring a student on the first day wouldn't be a very good thing to do.

Shinkirou watched from her tree as Glissa opened the gates and saw the crowd rush in. She had a feeling she was going to like teaching at this school. She jumped down from her tree and behind Glissa. "Hello Glissa. It's a nice turnout, huh?" Her eyes swiveled over to Jayme. "Hello. Are you a student? Welcome to Tenshi High. My name is Shinkirou Yoruno, and I am the swordsmanship teacher, if you decide to take that class. I hope you like it here at Tenshi High. What's your name?" She said softly, smiling.
She hoped her smile didn't look fake. In actuality, she didn't really want to converse with strangers. But then again, this was a student, and she had to make a somewhat good impression. Not to mention she loved to teach.

Glissa looked back and grinned.
"Hey Shinkirou. Ya, it was a decent amount of people..." She rubbed her ears violently.
"Geeze, sure is noisy now..." Keeping pace with the young student, she cleared her throat, and tried getting the conversation going again.
"Ya, Shinkirou is a great teacher. I'm even thinking about taking her class."

Jayme glanced at the Glissa taking notice of her fangs. It was obvious she was a demon. Jayme didn't really want to speak with a demon that she didn't know, but inspite of herself replied, "My name is Jayme Hitori." Then, upon hearing the other stranger, replied with a slight attitude, "Sadly, yes I am a student. I guess my previous master would desire me to learn more about the bladed arts."

She caught up with the two and turned to Glissa. "Which is good, except for the noise like you said. It is noisy, but we'll be fine. We're not the only demons here, I'm certain. But consider this. You're not a wolf demon." She pointed out. "And wolf demons are supposed to have better hearing aren't they?" She pondered this for a minute, and then turned back to Glissa. "That's nice of you, Glissa. But I doubt I know any more than you, to be honest! You've lived about the same age as me aren't you? I'm a little older, but not by much." She turned to Jayme. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Jayme." She heard the slight tone of attitude, but ignored it. "You should do well to befriend Glissa. She's very nice, if you are nice to her and respect her. She did open this school after all."

"Well then, welcome to Tenshi, Jayme!" Glissa picked up speed so that she was in front of Jayme and Shinkirou, then turned around to face them.
"If you ever need anything, I'm the person to come to. I can pull some strings if you need something beyond reach. And if you ever want to have a good time, I'll point you the way!" Then, while still walking backwards, she bent over slightly. A black flame erupted from her back and a pair of huge leathery wings emerged from the flames. Glissa flapped her wings a couple times and lifted off into the air. She hovered slightly above the walking pair, bobbing up and down slightly with each flap.

Instinct told Jayme to attack, but her human mind kept herself at bay. She closed her eyes and counted, trying to restrain her hand from whipping out her katana. Once she had restored her conscious mind to control, Jayme spoke. "Please, call me James or...nevermind. Just call me James."

"Okay, James. Honestly I plan more to make an all around weapons class, but we'll see. My favorite weapons are my twin fans, and that's probably going to be one of the longer lessons, if I do a class on it." Noticing her tenseness, she spoke again. "Don't worry. Me and Glissa are demons, but we wouldn't hurt you. There's going to be many more demons at this school, and keep in mind they're much more violent, and lose control easier."

James nodded. "I realize. I just hope that nothing horrible happens. But, I'm not really worried about demon attacks. My master said that they are lost souls looking for fuel to their life. He also use to say that if I keep a strong mind and a well-trained body, my skills would do the rest." James looked at the door in front of her and with a flick of her hand flung it open. A minor trick she had learned.

"Yes... But we'll watch your back!" Glissa rose higher in the air, hissed, then turned towards the dorms.
"Now if you don't mind, I'm going to go get cleaned up for the dinner banquet. Later!" With one big flap of her wings, Glissa was soaring off toward the dorms. While flying away she shouted back to Shinkirou.
"Oy! Shin! Don't forget to register that class of yours! I'd like you to be in the 200's building with that new history teacher. Want ya to keep an eye on him!" And with that seh dropped down onto a window sill on the second floor and crawled through it.

She nodded. "Your master's smart, but you need a few allies along the way too." She watched her open the door and then spoke again. "Anyway, keep my class in mind." She heard Ryuka and shouted back. "Alright! I'll see you at the banquet!" She turned back to Jayme. " Anyway, I've gotta go register my class. Good luck finding your way around!" She turned away from Jayme and started off first at a quick walk, then a fast run towards the office.

Kathlyn walked through the trees calmly. If there was one thing she loved about this place already; is all the trees. She smiled and began to hum to herself as she saw the gate to the school. She smiled and walked confedently towards the school. Hoping silently that THIS school would prove to work out better than the last two she had been kicked out of.
Kathlyn smiled as Laura greeted her, "Thanks! I'm happy I finally made it here!" Kathlyn smiled sweetly and pulled her bag higher on her shoulder. She was nervous, it was always hard starting at a new school again. New people; and possible new problems. Reguardless she entered with a determined smile and seemed as confident as she possibly could.
She looked around, "crap" she mumbled, "I missed orientation..."
