Satan was once an angel, before the world was created. Before God, he had been one of the most popular angels. Once God was there, the angels followed him. The Devil' previous name was Lucifer; he convinced 1/3 of the angels to follow him. He tried to be more powerful than God, and was punished. His name was changed to Satan, and he and his followers were sent down to Earth.

I'm pretty sure you got the timeline backwards, it was God before all things and Lucifer was on of the angels He created. Lucifer was basicly the second in command of God and God gave Lucifer much power. It was this power that made Lucifer think that he could become God. It was then that God cast him out and the angels that were following him at the time, and then that his name became satan.

My sunday school teacher says that Lucifer was there first with the rest of the angels, but I wanna hear what more people have to say.

If i am not mistaken, "Satan" is a term that simply means either "enemy" or "Opposer" in one of the biblical languages. his name still is Lucifer.
and to answer the title question he is the pissed off teenager of the bible. he got mad at his dad and was punished now he tries to do whatever he can to undermine his fathers authority out of pure spite.
(oh and God came first)

Basically Satan was a beautiful angel that played the paino in heaven, he was the most gorgeous angel up there, very popular.

The Devil is a fallen angel named Lucifer that God cast out of heaven when Lucifer acted, as Lazarus The Resurected put it, "The pissed off teenager of the Bible." The 1/3 of the angels that sided with Lucifer got booted down to hell too, and now Lucifer and his most trusted fallen angels represent the Seven Deadly Sins, Lucifier representing Pride (obviously).

Lucifer was one of gods most beautiful creations . . . those one day he was struck with vanity. Claiming that he himself was more beautiful then god, and from there opposed him for the thrown . . . and was himself thrown, from heaven and gods good graces.
I much like the analogy of lucifer as the pissed off teenager of the bible, lol.

Lucifer was the "Morning Star" as said in the Bible. He was the best of the best of God's creations. Then comes the arrogance and he thinks he can overthrow God. Along with 1/3 of the angels he was booted out of Heaven and into Hades or Hell. All as God had planned.

The story that i have is that before Satan was the devil he was an angel named Lucifer that had a Beautiful gift for music. He thought he was better thatn God and tried to become more powerful then He. God banned him to hell and was named Satan.
My lesson in this story.... Lucifers purpose was to play music so when he left heaven into hell, his purpose never changed! So thats why you here all the unholy songs, like certain rap, rock, and any music in general! And also he is the one that makes all bad kinds of music tempting!
