Personality: Lyane is very straight-headed. She makes decisions based on her moon instead of logic. Because she grew up with parents who spoiled her, Lyane is very egocentric, and tend to assume that the world is under her command. However, she hates the image of a spoiled child, even she herself is one. This makes her very critical on herself. She is a hard worker and is very intelligent. However, because she is overly confident in herself and has very high expectations, she tend to look down on others and don't often respect other people's opinions. Lyane is also very stubborn, and these traits makes her a seemingly hard person to get along with. However, if a person is able to accept Lyane for who she is, Lyane would see this person as a friend for a lifetime.
Another notable thing is that Lyane doesn't have a full sense of distinction between male and females. This is mainly because of her brother. She is usually seen wearing boyish or punk cloths, and don't mind being naked on the upper half---a great sight for guys around her. However, Lyane knows very well how to protect herself---violence is often one of the methods to keep the boys away.
History: Lyane is born into a exceedingly rich family. Her father is the head of one of the top toy/game companies in the world while her mother is a renowned actress. Because of her high-up conditions, Lyane was very well educated. Her parents do not come home often (when they do, they spoil her with all kinds of treats and wonders due to their guilt). The only real guardian is her brother, who is now a crossdressing male model for a fashion company. Lyane is talentd at many things, but she lacks any common social interactions with others. It is from her brother that she was able to learn to take care of herself and be independent. Lyane loved her brother for this, and hated her parents for not understanding her. At times, she felt stranded in her mansion, especially when her brother was away and working. In some ways she was jeaulous of her brother because he was not spoiled and was strong enough to defy his parents' wishes and choose what he wants to do. His admittance to the fashion company inspired Lyane greatly and made her determined to follow her brother's path, instead of becoming the successor of her father's company. When she heard about the Kaleido stage, she escaped from her mansion and met her brother during his work, begging him to take her there. Her brother was moved by her determination, and helped her to fly out of her country to try out for the stage. As she later said herself, "I have 100% chance of getting in, but without my brother, my chance is zero." So now, even though she is thousands of miles away from home, she felt a lot more comfortable, and is looking forward to a new and exciting life.
