This is probably the wrong place to be asking this, and I am sorry, administrators, but does anyone like to roleplay around here? I think it would be neat if we could start some Christian roleplays. I go to the boards everyday looking for some good roleplays and I rarely find them. I am a writer by the way. blaugh

We had a role play for a while, but it phased out as people left. Depending on what everyone chooses I might even join in.

The previous rp was in a post apocalyptic setting. I like the idea, except I really didn't have the time for it when it was around. We could go for that again or something similar.

I like RPing. but it can be hard around here. So many things that I think might borderline on demonic (not directly, exactly, but things that I believe are better not to tangle with). Question, how far do you guys go with the magic and stuff? What is okay and what is not okay? Sure it's just RPing, but I'm sure that even that has its affects and stuff.

Well, God has been known to give us powers, Moses and the apostles were good examples of what God has done. The thing that makes sorcery bad is the fact that you are calling upon the power of something other than God, usually its the devil, whether you realize it or not.

Well, I am a writer of fantasy, so I often use magic in my stories. But they all tend toward a Christian theme. LOTR is a good example, Chronicles of Narnia also, I think. Those stories had magic in them, but there was a very distinct line between the evil and the good. I personally never roleplay on any topic that includes demons, vampires, etc. But I do sometimes roleplay using certain magical abilities. If I were to start a roleplay here, though, I think it would not be fantastical. Who knows? We need roleplayers first. whee
