Somewhat recently, I went to Toys R Us with my friend KC and we found with the electronic pets ROBO NATION RADIO CONTROL ROBOTIC BEASTS!!! We were both like EH?!?? And died promptly because they so OBVIOUSLY ripped the molds off of ZOIDS. Thanks to KC's snazzy cell phone, we got pics of the crazy knock-offs! BEHOLD!! There's a couple more yet we need to get off her phone. One that's some mutant Redhorn thing and a Gojulas one. @_@ But yeah, much amusment there. And sorry, Tilly, I'd've picked one up for you, but can't spend the money on them right now.

Nope, they stole it too...it's a bootleg of another bootleg.
I still want one of the Shield Ligers, but I don't want to pay much for it and can't find one anyway.

Yeah... I don't want to pay $10 to support a bootleg. They're funny though. Gojulas. XD
The Bootleg bootleg just looks like a fat muddled mutant freak. "WHAT AM I?!?!" it screams. I'm sure it cries itself to sleep every night.

Sadly, Zoid bootlegs have been around for a while, after all, it's a model line from the early 80's. This page has a few bootleg toy lines, along with a side by side comparison. http://zoidsfan.jerrystoys.com/bootleg.htm

Yeah, it doesn't surprise me that there are bootlegs. I think this one just surprised me because it's an American release, and not like... something from Hong Kong or whatever. I EXPECTED BETTER, AMERICA!! *shakes fist*
Ah well, it's always worth a laugh. XD

haha yeah, when I was in China town in San Francisco I saw a ton of Gundam knock-offs....but it wasn't surprising because it was China Town, and all those bootlegs usually come from Hong Kong. But yeah that is kind of weird that it's American...
Hey I'm going to be in San Fran tomorrow for the Dir en Grey concert, and I heard it's near Japan town. I wonder if I can find any Zoid knock offs there lol. I'm excited now.
