I was over at Best Buy and I spotted this anime called UFO Valkerie Maiden and it seemed kind of interesting. The art looked good... and it looked like it had a lot of fanservice. So I bought it!
Anyway, the story is basically that the Earth is full of Aliens because of inter-galactic space travel... and there are catgirls in it. One of the main characters is "Miss Sanada", an attractive 'older' 20-something (guessing) gatgirl.
She has this weapon called a "catgirl raygun" and she uses it early on to create a small army of catgirls to help her out. The end result is that this anime has a lot of catigirls in it...
Plus a lot of cute girls in general (some with bunny ears or ram horns). Sanada is a funny character, but the females might not like this one because of all the fanservice in it.

Ohh I saw that whole series on youtube. I thought it was pretty good.

have you seen Geobreaders? thats a funny show. its about thies Neko detectives that run around solveing things. but if it rains, they dont do anything. i find if funny.

I baught the second volume at Best Buy...
I was a little dissapointed. The eye candy is still nice, but the stories start to stumble at this point. Episode 5 could have been really nice, but the direction seemed a little bland.
I'd like to see more about Miss Sanada, as I personally find her to be a pretty sexy character. She's more grown up than the other females.
Episode 8 is about the catgirls and has a lot of of them in it. It also has a MAJOR fanservice theme with a character named Hydra... you've got to see it for yourselves.
I like fanservice just fine, but I'm actually kind of having to admit that the series is starting to depend on it a litte too much...
Oh well, I'll still probably buy the last volume and the OAV.

Neither. Mostly just a silly anime with a lot of cute girls running around, and some obligatory fan service due to magical transformations and the fact the main character runs a bathhouse.
I love Sanada. heart And I really wish I had one of those catgirl-maid rayguns. heart xd

It's only 12 episodes long, but there's an OAV special that takes place after it. Becasue it's kind of short, the characters don't usualy get the development they deserve.
The second DVD starts introducing more characters... instead of focusing on the existing ones. They also seem to be required to have a magical girl transformation sequence in every episode, even when there isn't even the slightest need for it.
I think the Director pulled a lot of punches for the sake of fanservice. It's still fun to watch, but it could have been a lot more gripping and engaging.
Still, I'd reccomend it for just about any anime fan.
