The night was dark. The moon kept peeking in and out from behind dark clouds that were filled with icey water, which no one knew when they would burst and rain down sheet after sheet of rain. As the moon peeked out once again, a dark figure could be seen wandering along the tree line. The only thing that really stood out about him was the white parts of his mane and tail.
It was Cadaver. On another one of his wanderings. He dared not go back to his teepee right now. Who knew how pissy Chu'mana would be. Not that he was afraid of her, she just utterly annoyed him most of the time. What with her talk of wanting babies and how she'll never have any. Blah blah. His milky white eyes roamed across the clearing that stretched out from the tree line that he walked about. Nothing nor no one seemed to be out at this time of night. Probably because of the impending storm that was rumbling in the sky. But he didn't mind, he did enjoy a good, storm that would scare the crap out of some other Soquili every now and again.

She wandered through the murky darkness, the red in her streaked mane swaying in the soft wind. Her wings glinted under the moonlight. It had been quite some time since she had seen either Rahu or Zira...not since their long talk that night. Zira's leg had healed well. She had heard rumors lately of the pair and smiled softly in her curled lip smirking manner. She knew they'd find love eventually...it would take time but even the darkest hearts would find a kindred spirit. Her thoughts travelled to the two leggers...oh how she wanted to kill them all...disperse of their wretched existance and taste their blood in her mouth. But how? She could not do this alone. She needed them...and others too..but who? All the mares were weak and pathetic. The wind picked up and she could feel the rain in the air. The nights grew colder as winter approached and with it the rains became cold and damp. She made her way towards the forest lining. close to the mountain bases there was a few caverns there..She could still enjoy the storm and stay dry and warm at the same time. There she would think and perhaps find a solution..yes maybe there she could make her home as well. It would be nice to have a place to call home.

As Cadaver moved on, he soon came along the mountain bases. This was a new area for him to explore. But as soon as he decided to start that exploreing, the clouds broke open and a down pour of rain fell to the earth. In seconds his entire body was soaked, his mane and tail weighed down from the water as his dark coat clung to his skin, exaggerateing the muscles which lay beneath it.
He shook his body, but to no avail, he soon became soaked again. Sure he didn't mind the rain, but he didn't particularly like being soaked from it. Looking around in the darkness, he sniffed out the smell of a cave nearby. It wasn't hard to figure out the smell that came from it, damp and dark had a very strong smell. Gritting his teeth as his body started to shiver lightly from the cold water, he trotted over and touched his nose to the side of the mountain untill he found the opening to a cave, darting inside. Once out of the rain, he shook his body dry and stretched out his legs. Looks like he was going to be stuck here for a while.

Alora was nearly to the cave when the downpour began. She bolted into a gallop to reach the cave before she got too wet. Sighting it ahead she pushed her legs faster, thundering right into the mouth of the cave, not realizing there was someone else inside. Her coat was damp but lucky for her not soaked although her mane was wet and flopping into her eyes....however, not so lucky for her she managed to find herself in the darkness...and not only was she not alone, she hadn't really slowed down from her run....

The sound of hoofbeats came quickly to Cadaver's ears, though his reaction was quite slow as he hadn't expected them. Turning his head just in time, he spotted the mare comeing at him into the cave at full speed. Before he could move out of the way, he was knocked off his hooves and falling towards the floor of the cave. "Son of a..." Was all he could growl out before he hit the ground hard. A shot of pain running through his side and legs as all his weight plus the mare's landed ontop of him. Eyebrows furrowed, he wasn't too happy about this. Not at all. Not to mention he had just gotten over those wounds from the wolves a few weeks prior to this. "God damnit watch where your going!!" He screamed out viciously, his tail snapping back and forth in an annoyed manner as he turned his head to glare at whoever it was that ran into him.

It was with the colliding of bodies and legs thrashing, Alora realized she had made contact with something in the cave. Her body sprawled as she heard the voice of the one she had collidied with unknowningly, followed by a growl. Blinking her eyes in surprise, she found herself atop of another soquili, who was now screaming viciously at her. Quickly getting to her feet she snapped back just as maliciously, "Me!?!? You should not hide in the darkness where antoher cannot see you, you idiot! " Her lips curled into a snarl as teeth were produced and slightly bared as warning. Her emerald orbs shone in the cave's darkness as she let them focus to the lack of light and show her the one before her. A dark stallion from the looks of it..and with the strangest eyes she had ever seen. "What are you doing in my cave anyways?" she snarled at him. "This is my home."

Quickly scrambling to his feet, Cadaver's ears pulled back flat against his skull as his lips pulled back into a snarl. His milky eyes narrowed sevearly as he stared at the aura that was in the darkness around him. It was bright red. From the voice, it was a mare. Just great. His tail snapped back and forth as he stood there, glareing at her. "You shouldn't be running into dark caves without knowing who's inside!!" His voice boomed against the walls of the cave as his muscles tensed. A snort exscaped his nostrils as he eyed her red aura. Definatly this one was different from the other mares he had met. "You're cave? And just what makes you think this is your cave? I do not see your name all over it! And I was in here first!" Of course, Cadaver wouldn't be able to see her name even if she had written it all over the walls. He didn't care if this was indeed this mare's cave. He had gotten into it before she had and he was not leaving just to have to wander to find another shelter from the rain. It didn't matter if she was a mare, he'd fight her for it without a second thought.

Alora snarled and snapped her teeth at him, although she didn't realize he may not have seen it...although he'd certainly hear it. "Yes my cave and I can run intoit if I wish to! I live in this cave. Just because you ran here first to escape the rain does not mean it is not my home." A growl escaped her throat as she menacingly circled him. "Don't think I won't rip open your jugular for such disrespect in MY HOME!" her voice echoed just as loudly as his had, only it was followed by a loud crack of thunder as lightning began to streak the sky. Slowly she approached him, hissing in a lower tone close to his ears, "if you wish to stay out of the rain I suggest you shut that trap of yours and the s**t you're spewing from it, before I do force you to leave."

Cadaver's eyes narrowed even more as she started to circle him. His tail snapped back and forth as he turned his head to watch her. A low deep growl, rumbled deep in his chest. "Ho ho. So the little mare thinks she's tough s**t eh? I'd like to see you even try to get near me before I beat the s**t out of you." His lips pulled back a little bit more, but his eyes unnarrowed just a bit. Not likeing how this mare was talking to him. "Good luck in forceing me to. You'd more than likely get kicked out yourself before you even knew what hit you...." His voice had lowered and the tone had darkened a bit as he moved towards the back of the cave, tucking his legs underneath his large frame and lowering himself to the ground. Not careing if this mare tried to kick him out or not, he wasn't weak and wouldn't be pushed around by her.

Alora snarled even more now. "And you think I can't? why because I am a mare? Oh ho ho what have we here! a chauvinest stallion. Oh how I despise those kind. She moved towards him. Now Alora was by no means stupid and she knew he was definitely a match for her, but she was slowly realizing from watching him that he did not seem to see as she did..How did he perceive sight then? How curious....
"Would you like to continue giving me reason to dig my hooves into your flesh? I could certainly enjoy the taste of your blood upon my lips if you should continue to push it. " She snorted at this stallion. Who did he think he was anyways. Granted he didn't seem to be a weak pushover, all talk stallion. A nice change for once, although he was treading on her territory. "I highly doubt you could harm me enough to take over my cave and my home, and should you insist on doing so, you'll find yourself underneath my hooves as they crash upon your skull." Her eyes narrowed into green slits now, her glare trying to meet his...although how that would work was unknown at this point. She fluttered her wings softly as she often did when she was angry.

He was growing very tired of this little mare's attitude, and quite annoyed by it infact. Though it kind of was quite a nice change from the previous mares he had encountered. Settling himself back into the cave, he looked at her. No real expression on his face. "I wouldn't want your stank cave of a so called home in the first place. As soon as the rain lets up I'm gone. Now shut that filthy mouth of yours or I'll shut it up for you." His eyebrows furrowed as he snorted at her, still not moveing from his position on the floor of the cave. "As much as I'd rather be somewhere else. I don't quite particularily like cold rain. So be quiet and ride it out untill I'm gone." Closeing his eyes slightly, he watched her carefully. She was full of hatred, just from the way her aura shone bright red he could tell.

Alora pulled her head back and eyed this stallion. Who did he think he was to speak to her this way? "Its my home so my rules. I'll speak as much as I want and any way I want. Don't like it? There's the cave door." She moved to a spot where she could easily watch him and still get a good view of the storm, snorting in annoyance at this arrogant stallion. She watched the storm some and smiled a bit as the forked fingers of the lightning crawled across the heavens. His voice broke the silence once more and she rolled her eyes as she spoke in a low voice, "Shut your mouth already. I'm tired of your incessant repetativeness, whatever your name is. No one likes cold rain anyways." She wondered if they were in for a long storm or short one, but from the looks of it, it was one that would last all night. It was that same moment Rahu & Zira shared another cave, somewhere nearby, unknown to Alora of course. She sighed softly, absorbed into the storm and almost forgetting this intruder was there. This annoyance. At least she wasn't alone for once.

Cadaver didn't say another word after that. He wasn't up to haveing to deal with her attitude and annoyance everytime he spoke to her. Feh. This mare really got under his skin, and yet...he was intregued all the same. Which was odd. Opening his eyes a bit more, he watched her from the darkness of the cave in which he layed in. Not even the light from the storm outside reached the spot in which he occupied. But he would say one thing. "My names Cadaver. That way you know who you are spitting your words at when you talk." He closed his eyes momentarily, leaning against the wall of the cave.

Alora heard his voice once more as it brought her back from the near dreamstate she was in, watching the storm. She eyed him again, laying in that dark corner with eyes glowing in the darkness. He was different. She would not admit that she admired how he was not weak like most stallions. No...but she was peaked with interest all the same. "Alora, so you will know the name when you hear it again someday....." her voice trailed off lower, but still audible, "I shall rid this land of the two legged annoyances...I shall bath in their blood. I will rid the world of weak pathetic mares who serve only to weaken stallions....prissy little frightened things....yes..their blood will be mine as well...some day" she murmured the words now. Her thoughts swirling in her head as the storm intensified.
