"You think you know me.."
The familiar music blares in. Metalingus by Alterbridge kicks in and Edge comes out with Beth Phoenix. He smiles smugly at her as they both walk down the ramp. The fans cheer for them as they get into the ring. Edge sits down in a chair as his music dies down. He takes a microphone off the table.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the first ever edition of The Cutting Edge!" The crowd cheers in delight. "I am your totally awesome host, The Rated R Superstar Edge, and this fine beauty by my side is my Co-Host, Beth Phoenix!" The male demographic cheer in delight at the sight of Beth. "Now, tonight we have two special guests.." They both get up. "Two people who have been turning heads since their debut right here in this very company, so ladies and Gentlemen, The Cutting Edge brings to you, Johnny Nitro and Melina!"

*the music of NM hits as Nitro and Melina pose at the top of the ramp letting the photogophers get their pictures. they casually make their way to the ring. Melina starts to go into the splits as Johnny gets behind her blocking the view while she finishes it up and slides into the ring. as Melina does her pose by the ropes Johnny slides in between her legs. Johnny gets up and puts his arm around Melina as their music dies down.*

As the music goes down. Edge looks to them and grins. "Johnny, Melina, welcome to the show! This show isn't like all those other shows, there's no big a** TV Screen or Palm Tree's or Tacky furniture. Just a live mic, and us in the ring. Im sure you both would like to address the public, so if you please, speak your peace." He motioned to the Mic on the table.

*Johnny grabbed a microphone.* I must say you have a lot more sense than the last host we visited with on a WWE talk show. now it was very nice of you to ask us to join you on the Cutting Edge, but what's your angle here? nobody asks for interviews unless they want something.

"Johnny Johnny Johnny" Edge said as he put his arm around him. "There is no angle here. Im only here to ask the important questions that everyone has to know." He walked across the ring. "First off, we know that you have career aspirations to make it to the top, but what are your targets as of now?"

my target? it's the same as everyone's, to get some gold. right now I'm just scouting the champions to see which one is worth battling. sooner or later somebody will lose a belt to me.

Well...in the past, you have been Intercontinental Champion. I've held the belt many times and its a very prestigous title. Could we very well see that title return around your waist?

*nods* that's a possibility. they say you have to walk before you can run. and considering who some of the top title holders are you'd have to be suicidal to go after them. I however value my looks and don't want to go against someone who'd rather use weapons than their own hands.

"As of now? Hm..." *Melina thought for a moment.* "As of right now, I plan to get back the Women's Championship that I rightly deserve. That title felt right at home around this gorgeous waist, not to mention that I was one of the most popular Women's Champions ever. So, for now, I'm setting my sights on that title."
