I've gained a few pounds playing DDR. I was a small guy (I still am sweatdrop ) 5' 9" 115 lbs. Now it's around 120-125 thanks to DDR. 3nodding

Actually, yea, I've lost some weight. When I ran track during my junior year, I weighed in at 165 pounds, most of that in my legs! [/joke]
But since playing DDR, I've lost 15 pounds, down to 150. Not really upset, as it makes me a lot faster sprinting, but that weight for some reason has kept me from the long events, which I used to be fairly decent at..

I have a rocket-speed metabolism. I can sit there, do nothing, and eat a crapload of food and burn it all. Thus I never really had additional weight to lose.
It will theoretically, in time, gradually reduce my general body fat percentage. I mean I dont exactly have visible abs, its just flat.
Its a decent workout though, lots of blood flow and activity in large muscles.

I got my four-pack back, and became an even faster runner (hooray track!), and gained a couple pounds from muscle.
Hooray!

Pre-DDR Tofu: Short hair 120 lbs 5'8" 5-pack (my right side's always been more visible than my left, and the lines are uneven) LOSER.
DDR Tofu: Long Hair 135 lbs 5'10" 7 1/2-pack (a six pack with an extra ab and a half stacked on top. . . chicks ought to dig it, but for some reason they only focus on my obscure chest hair arrangement.) WINNER.

I haven't really lost any weight, but my legs are a lot stronger. I'm sure if I started playing regularly again I'd lose a couple pounds... :b

i have a pretty average body type... i'm not overweight, but i do have a heart condition. when my cardiologist asked if i do any excersize, i told him ddr... he said that ddr is a great way for me to exercize without over-exerting myself (oh, so little he knows...) and he's had tons of patients lose weight by doing it. this just shows why everyone should play ddr... 3nodding

Before DDR, I was..quite a heffer. But now I'm a very good weight and really healthy. Hell, at my last doctor's appointment the doctor said my general health was much better than the average girl my age, especially my blood pressure (which is good because my family has a long history of awful blood pressure). I'd say I'm in pretty good shape now.
