I am now sponsering one of the many childern in Uganda From the Keziya Orphanage home. This is what is going on.
" In northern Uganda, where rebels have terrorized the land for twenty years, children wander the countryside looking for help. They are called the "night commuters" or the "invisible Children." The Rev. Otto Naptali and his wife, Filder, took eleven children into their modest house in Gulu before they had to start turning down desperate requests from children at their door. They decided to form a group of Family and friends to start the Keziya Orphanage. Now a series of mud huts on a piece of land serves as home to many more orphans. The children are grateful for a daily meal and shelter, as well as having people to care for them. They are thrilled to be attending school and now have hope for the future. These are the fortunate ones..."
The Keziya Orphanage is where one of the childern I am sponsering is. I have been looking up on what has been going on in Uganda for a while. They are fighting a civil war, where the childern are the warriors. Women from other villages are being caught up in the war as well. Woman and childern are being dragged from their homes and villages at night where they are rapped. they then have the ears, lips, and nose cut off. It is horrible what is going on there. I am supporting the people fighting for the woman and childern there.
I am not asking anyone to go out and sponsering a child or anything don't worry I am just trying to spread the news of what is going on in other countries.
