Asher With Eola ----- v Quote: The male rattler rolled his stiff neck, adjusting his hair to hide his right side of his face. Only one pale blue eye peered out from his curtain of hair as he slithered inside, looking around. What was to be new and desirable today? he wondered. Quote: He slithered in, casting a wary glance around the shop. He caught sight of the female looking at him. Instead of really saying anything though, he slithered to semi-corner and coiled up. Quote: Asher studied his surroundings from his quiet place, the sound of a light rattling comming through. He seemed to have been making such sounds out of pure boredom. He watched the younger rattler move towards the kitchen area, or what he presumed to be the kitchen area. Quote: Asher decided to figure this place out a bit but he didn't want to be lost so he moved from his quiet spot and slithered to the kitchen, catching sight of the female. However, he remained quiet still as he opted for looking around the kitchen for something...though what he wasn't sure. Quote: Asher blinked as she pointed things out, his brilliantly ice blue gaze following her finger before resting on her smile. His lips twitched a little. "Thank you." He said in a soft voice that was a bit melodic. He slithered to the pantry, opening it and trying to locate anything that sounded decent...or edible. "Any recommendations?" Quote: Asher smiled. He would have to take up cooking lessons apparently... "I would appreciate it thank you. What is your name?" He asked politely. Quote: "Asher," he said, watching her make him a sandwhich, his stomach grumbling a bit. Quote: "No, thank you. I will start with one for now, ma cherie." He said giving a little rattle of ethusiasim.. Quote: He grinned to her as he took a bite of the sandwhich, chewing it thoughtfully before swallowing it. "Delicious...What kind of a drink did you have in mind?" he teased back with a little sway of his rattle. Quote: Asher smiled. "Ma cherie is simply a pet name, Miss Eola. If you wish I can refer to you a** Miss Eola." He took another bite of sandwhich. Quote: Asher nodded. "Eola it is then and surprise me with whatever you think I will enjoy." He finished saying with a little flick of the tongue. Quote: "Thank you," he said, taking another bite of sandwhich. He chewed on the bite while opening the bottle of water. He swallowed and took a drink, glancing at her occassionally.. Quote: Asher nodded a little bit, finishing his sandwhich. Now he sat there, sipping the water with the occassional flicker of his forked tongue. "Indeed, you are interesting to watch." Quote: Asher shrugged. "Perhaps you just are interesting...or because I have yet to see a gentle face around here." He finished his water. Quote: "Hope you are correct." He said gently reaching over to play with a strand of her hair before letting it fall, replacing his hand to his side. Quote: Asher smiled. "Seems we are curious about each other, non?" He liked her pink hair. It was strange for a color but he liked it anyway. Quote: "Or maybe they enjoy a good game of hide and seek? They are hiding and have annoited you the seeker?" Quote: "You could suppose that. Do you want to suppose I am it?"He gave a small flick of his tongue. Quote: "What if my wish was to not find you? Would I stumble upon you without looking?" Quote: He laughed with her. He liked her laugh. "That would be true..." Quote: Asher leaned foreward. "See you again?" Quote: Asher slithered along outside the shop, more exploring its grounds to see what he could get into and if there were others about he hasn't met yet. Occassionally his tongue would flicker out, tasting the sweet air.

Raven Dhion 'Tis with Doku ------v Quote: Raven padded quietly to the door of the shop, looking a bit hesitant at going in. Did she go in or did she stay outside? She walked towards a window and peeked in, her furry ears going back as she peered inside, her crimson gaze lurking about. Quote: The bushy tail swayed a little before her nose told her she was being watched. She gave a small eep as she peeked over her shoulder, going a bit red at having been caught. "Hello," she said very softly, inching towards the wall and leaning on it, blinking back at the hawk. Quote: "Raven Dhion..." She smiled a little bit, feeling a bit more at ease. Quote: "Pleasure to meet you." She offered a warm smile, placing her hands in front of her. "I take it you live around here?" Quote: She smiled some to Lexi. "I'm not sure yet..." She shrugged. "I suppose where ever I live, is where ever I live." Quote: Raven shrugged. "Honestly, I'm not sure." Tis something I must ask myself later. "Anyway! Is there anything to drink around here?"

Asher Rp In General. Asher slithered about, casting his husky blue eyes about, peering through the curtain of gold at nothing in particular. He should find something or someone. Why he wasn't sure...Melomar Eola wandered into the kitchen and spied the two Voices with crepes and coffee. Stifling a giggle, she grabbed a bottle of water and retreated back into the main room of the shop. Finding a comfortable loveseat, she curled her coils loosely, managing to take up the entirety of the couch without feeling guilty - after all, there was plenty of seating around. She was oblivious to Asher's presence, or anyone else's for that matter, as she opened the water and partook of some. The black mamba anthro slithered silently and quickly into the shop. Without a sound he slithered towards to Eola, his hands shooting out to grip the edges of the couch. He let a small hiss come past his lips as he said, "Boo." He settled close in comfort range with his coils. Melomar One of Eola's eyes bugged as he came up fast to the couch and stopped. Twisting the cap back on the bottle she sat up and cradled her chin in her hand with an amused smile. "Hello, Sscary Man." "Hellos..." he chuckled as she called him a scary man. He wasn't that scary was he? By the looks of her amused smile, he would say not.
"How do you fare?" He asked, giving a little flicker of tongue.Melomar Her coils wrapped more tightly around herself to give him room on the other side of the couch. "I'm doing well. Sit with me?" she asked, patting the cushion beside her. Asher smiled. "I would love to ssit with thee." He coiled up on the couch, watching her with his husky eyes.Melomar Eola's smile widens and she re-positions herself to face him with her back against the couch arm. "So what brings you to the shop today?" Asher smiled. "I'm not sure what has brought me here...perhaps I missed seeing your lovely face?"Melomar Eola giggled. "Doubtful... but nice of you to say." She took a drink of her water after removing the lid. Asher smiled, pleased she liked his wording. He studied her take a drink of water, debating himself on grabbing himself a bottle. "Such a pretty thing shouldn't be alone." He murmured softly.Melomar Seeing Asher eye the water bottle out of the corner of her eye, she offered it to him. "Need some? I don't backwash," she grinned. "Though there's more in the kitchen. At his comment her arm went a little slack with surprise. "Pardon?" He chuckled. "I will be right back. I do not wish to steal your water from you." He murmured, uncoiling from the couch and moving with his usual speed and flowing grace to the kitchen to fetch his own water. He returned with his own bottle, tossing it from hand to hand, watching it before husky blue settled over Eola. "Simply paying you a compliment tis all."Melomar Eola watched him leave... and return. She looked up at him with mild humor. "Well all right then," she chuckled, downing some more water. "You are beautiful. You seem to doubt that though I could be mistaken?" He coiled back into his invited spot.Melomar Eola hissed softly to herself with a pleasant smile on her face. "Thank you... but I guess I just never think about it." She was used to being spoiled, and come to think of it rarely didn't not get what she wanted, but 'pretty' had not really come up, nor had it mattered... "I mean, I like how I look, but..." She grinned and shrugged. "But?" He gently prompted. Melomar "But... circular path of speech?" Eola chuckled, tongue flicking between upper and lower sets of teeth. He reached out to touch her hair, playing with before he leaned in to sniff it, his own tongue flicking out to casually catch her near the ear.Melomar Eola's smile widened as he reached for her hair - she knew he liked it. But his flicking tongue made her jerk a bit, which forced a hissing laugh from her lips. He chuckled as she jerked back. He didn't mean for it to tickle, though when one's a snake, the tongue doesn't always listen to the owner.Melomar She watched him, eyes wide as she giggled. "I guess my ear's ticklish there..." She made a swipe for a lock of golden hair herself, twirling it around her finger. Asher chuckled as he mirrored her movements, twirling a lock before the hand trailed to rest about her jaw, thumb feathering it gently as he stared at her. Melomar Eola's grin faded as she watched his movements. Blushing faintly, she gazed into his eyes, one blue orb half-hidden behind a fall of golden hair. The strands she had been twirling around her finger spun free and fell loosely in her hand. Asher was thinking of something, though he wasn't going to be too bold, so he kept his thoughts to himself. Melomar Eola saw something behind Asher's eyes. It was surprising because she didn't really know him that well. When she had called him "scary" before, she had also been thinking of calling him "mysterious." He seemed like a quiet and secretive type. But she recognized this... she had seen in Guth with Djarian, and even in Tol with Aria S. (though he always tried to hide it). She just had never thought that her first kiss would be at her own initiative... Flushing deeply, she steeled herself asserting that, I am not a shy person! slipped her hand behind his neck, and kissed him. Asher blinked once, twice, before his own hand slid behind her neck and pulled her deeper into the kiss, his tail moving to coil with hers.Melomar Eola had an almost irresistable urge to laugh at his hesitation. Pure mirth. But as he returned her affections, the feeling evaporated. Her tail responded with his with a pleasing soft rattling sound and her arms wrapped around behind his back. Arioch smiled as he placed a soft kiss on her jawline, glancing at her as though seeking permission to do so.Melomar Flushed back behind her ears, Eola leaned back but did not pull away. She was used to a close proximity to others. In fact, physical affection was normal... but this was very different and made her feel almost shy. It showed in her smile when she said quietly, "I've never been kissed like that before..." There was something else different as well... as if his scales grew up higher than his waist. She had felt it against her chest and arm, across her cheek... Her eyes wandered to where his hair covered his face and shoulder then flicked back to meet his pale blue eyes. She was curious. He stiffened. He knew that look too well. He kept his hair where it was, concealing his right side, his tail uncurling from hers. He swallowed a little....he had found comfort when he had been with Anita and Jean-Claude...but he knew them..he trusted them. Here, a beautiful viper lay withen his grasp, giving him the same look of curiousty he had seen from Anita when he had first met her..
Fear flirted with his eyes. Would she accept him also?Melomar Thinking she had done something horribly wrong, something inside seemed about to implode. She shrunk back, not understanding, just knowing that whatever it was must be her fault. "I-I'm sorry...!" He shook his head, making the golden curtain come alive. "It is not your fault, ma cherie...more mine. I should have known before if you could accept before doing anything."
He slipped off the couch, seemingly kneeling before her. If he was to be rejected, he wasn't sure what he would do...He would rather be else where...somewhere more secluded... "Is there anywhere we can go that we cannot be risked being caught?"Melomar Eola watched him with confusion and hurt in her eyes. What had she done wrong? As he slid off the couch, she honestly thought he was leaving and her heart sank. But he did not. It took her a moment to process what he was saying. "...Caught?" She looked down as she thought about it. "Tol used to ... hide ... in some dark tunnels beneath the tower. I used to go there all the time when I was little. Or outside... the forest. Or upstairs," she smiled weakly, "I have my own rooms." Asher smiled gently. "Anywhere from public view." He wanted to show her why he was mentioning caught, why he wore his hair the way he did, why she felt his 'scales' above his waist... he didn't want to be rejected by her....Melomar She sighed with relief and nodded. "I'll take you upstairs then." She smiled gently, still nervous by his reactions, but feeling more at ease. She reached out her hand to him, and curled her snake's body ready to slither off the couch. "I'll show you..."

Asher Do I show her? Dare I reveal the hideousness of my face that she discovered by touch? No...I'm not hideous. Anita doesn't see that...maybe Eola doesn't either. She's wonderful so far...but that dreaded reaction...
Can I trust her with it? Can I really reveal what I'm afraid to reveal and trust her?Asher paced the spacious room he found himself in, his tongue flickering out as he thought. He coiled up onto a couch, his face in his hands as he thought about his dilemma.

Raven Alone. That was often she felt as she wandered the realms, seeking something but never finding what she sought. Often she had asked for companionship. Every time it was denied her through someone's death, all for a cursed blade that enjoyed taking a life. Would she ever find comfort in friendship? She shook her head, causing the cascade of raven curls to move like a living curtain. Her crimson eyes pierced through the horizon, her hand upon the black blade’s hilt. Why had she been stuck with this merciless killer? This demon? She was stuck with the rune sword as it was the last of her home, her lands…yet it was all a reminder of where she came from, the fate that was sealed. All of Melnibone had been destroyed... Destroyed by Chaos’ enemy Law. Just recalling the awful memories of bloodshed and death caused tears to her eyes. Even if she wasn’t wholly accepted by the people, she still considered them family…because they were her blood. She had been pure Melnibonean before the vampire incident. Her grandfather’s slaying before her eyes, her form hidden…She kept seeing the act before her eyes no matter what she did. No matter what she did to appease it, the memory would forever haunt her. Tears blinded her view. The light armor she wore made whipping them away a little difficult so she settled for removing them with her hands. She was young… no more then 18 years of age. She continued whipping away tears, settling for kneeling down to just cry. She didn’t care if she had found herself in the middle of a beach, kneeling so close to the waves that one or two had actually washed up to surround her. The tears left warm trails down her cheeks letting the paleness of her skin glisten. When she could finally get to a sniffling point, something rolled to knock into her booted foot. With a sniff, she looked down near her foot, discovering what appeared to be an orb mildly drifting with the tide. There was something with it though…a message. Delicately, she lifted the orb into her fingertips, oblivious of still being in the water. Upon hearing your troubles in the real world I have sent one of my own to watch over you, but you must take care of it in return. Enclosed in that box is a orb shaped crystal that will show you your dreams and solidify them into a guardian. I will be paying you a visit when I can, to make sure you are properly suited.
The Goblin KingRaven couldn’t believe her luck. Someone had sent this….little glistening sphere to her just to show her, her dreams? “Impossible…” The word slipped from her lips. Did she have dreams? Desire was more like it…. She had dreamed and wished for a friend…A crystal who could solidify into a guardian? One might as well find out right? She stayed where she was, examining the little crystal, watching the swirling colors of reds and golds. There was something about it that felt alive…similar to the sword she carried. However, it wasn’t the same. This didn’t feel evil compared to the sword. Perhaps she would give it a chance and thank this goblin king personally should she ever meet him.

Raven After discovering the crystal, Raven had taken her shirt and dried it off, removing traces of the sea from it. It was beautiful, she thought. She certainly was grateful for the orb. Grateful someone was trusting one of their own into her care. She had moved away from the sea, climbing higher into the main lands. It should have been interesting, seeing the elf-like female walking about the land, clothed in black, a long sword on her back and a crystal in her hand. Whatever her purpose was in life obviously had to do with this crystal…or so she thought. She sighed a little bit. Something about the crystal was a little comforting. She thought she had a happy life… Yeah. It was as happy as it could be when the majority shunned her and the only one to care for her was her grandfather. She missed him. She missed seeing his smile, feeling his arms around her. As though it knew what she felt, the fog in the crystal shifted a little, revealing a memory of the albino king walking along the shores of the kingdom. Beside him was a little raven haired girl who was all smiles and chattering up a storm with him. It was a sunny day it revealed. The waters were crystal clear and sparkling under the morning sun. A small smile touched Raven’s lips before she bent to kiss the crystal. “Thank you.” She said, not entirely sure it could understand what she was saying. How did it find her? How did this King know of her? Did she stumble upon some portal and was in his realm? All these questions raced through her mind. She would cherish this little orb. She would love it and care for it. “Usstan bel'la tau whol nindol farjali belbol dos inbal belbaunin uns'aa...” (Translation: I thank thee for this precious gift you have given me...) She couldn’t carry the crystal in her hand forever…She looked about her person, sighing as she had nothing. It dawned on her that her cape could be used as a makeshift pouch. So she tore a strip of the fabric to fasten around her waist before she slipped her precious cargo into it…

Asher Asher sat at his desk, scribbling away in a journal. His golden mane had been pushed back, revealing the scars on the right side. He was alone in this room, away from public sight. Candles were settled on the large desk he was seated at. Soft music flowed from where a rather modern stereo played soft music. For a moment, he closed his husky blue eyes, listening to rhythm of the music as it wrapped around his soul. The sweet scent of vanilla drifted in. Nathaniel’s scent. A smile curved the lush mouth of the mamba as he remembered giving the room up for a moment or two for Anita and Nathaniel. Not that he complained much a bout it. Upon returning to his writing, Asher sensed something was different. It felt like his room but it also felt as though something were watching him. Immediately he shifted his head, sending the golden curls to cascade in front of his face. “Who’s there?” he asked softly. He turned his gaze to the opened window, seeing nothing there. Frowning, Asher left his desk to close the window. When he turned around to survey his surroundings, something twinkled on his bed, nestled in the overlaying fur throw. “What the-“ he paused in mid sentence, gliding towards his bed to lift whatever it was the glittered on his bed. What lay now in his hands was a crystal orb of swirling blues. Curiosity entered his brain as well as caution…

Asher Asher studied the crystal, noting it's beautiful blue hues and tints. It reminded him of Julianna's eyes. They were so blue...and she was so beautiful. He wished silently that this orb, whatever it was, was female. It was painful for Asher to remember Julianna and how she was. He loved her with his heart and soul, the terrible memories of knowing her death and how he'd recieved the scars. The screams of agony as he was forcefully held down by the priests as holy water was poured onto him. The burning as the holy water burned and seared his flesh. The memories brought tears to Asher's eyes. He whiped at them, noticing how the crystal reacted as it rolled about on the bed to roll into his lap as though it were comforting him. This was definitely interesting as he felt somewhat comforted by the strange orb's presence...

Raven Raven had wandered the vast land until she came into view of a tavern inn. She had little money to offer, however, she needed to rest. She was wary from the harsh traveling she had done. Her feet ached and she was sure there were blisters on the ball of her feet. Her legs hurt so much she had wanted to cry from the pain. She was in need of a hot bath and a good night’s rest. She felt grimy and slimy and just not wanting to be touched. Maybe the crystal would like a hot bath too? she wondered. She walked towards the tavern door, stopping just before it so she could search her pockets for anything that might be valuable enough to be accepted. She had the few pieces of gold from past travels, a jewel or two and then her grandfather’s ring. That she wouldn’t give up. Neither would she give up the hell-blade for anything, as much as she’d like to. “I suppose I will have to settle for a gold coin to spare,” she murmured as she pushed the tavern door open. Her strange appearance caused a light stirring amongst the customers already inside and seated. She supposed it was a bit odd to find someone with long pointy ears, pale skin, black hair, crimson eyes, clad in black, carrying a hidden crystal and a long runesword. “Oh dear,” she whispered to herself, trying not to seem too strange. The tender was nice enough to motion her forward, too which her feet moved. “I would like a room with a hot bath and a hot meal, please?” She requested slipping the gold piece forward. The tender picked the piece up and bit it to see if it was real. Satisfied, he nodded and said he’d get right on it, disappearing for a few minutes only to return with a key to her room. She thanked him and headed towards the inn part of the tavern, unlocking the door and going in. She closed the door and looked around, glad she had gotten the place. Now she could get sleep in some comfort. The hard ground could only be good to someone for a limit time, before her hips barked in protest. She would wait for her bath to arrive…

Asher The noon day sun was up. The heavy drapes had been pulled securely shut, blocking the deadly sun out. The heat was there on the outside, but it was nice and cool inside the room. Asleep on the bed was Asher, curled up with his arm tucked under his pillow and head, the crystal in the crook of his other arm. He appeared dead to the world and in a sense, he was dead. Golden hair spilled over his pillow, the scars on his face revealed to the world as he slept in the comfort of his chambers. His husky blue eyes closed, golden lashes creating golden crescents against the alabaster skin. Later, when he arose, he would be hungry. The crystal’s fog swirled about peacefully, as though it too slept. He had only discovered the orb on his bed but already had a bond forging. His own friend that wouldn’t judge him for how he looked… it was a very pleasant thought to the sleepy mamba.

Asher Asher woke up, his hand going straight to his head as an oncomming migraine struck him. The lights didn't bother him as there were no lights to strike his sensitive eyes. However sound was there...very clear. He groaned as he sat up. The crystal that had been in his hand rolled out to get into his lap. One hand moved freely to touch the orb as he lifted it and looked into it. "I'll be fine...It's just a migraine. I suppose if you stay at my side I'll be even better." The crystal wiggled in his hand as it rolled up to bury itself in his golden hair. "I think I should name you Julianna...She loved playing with my hair and your coloration reminds me of her eyes..."
