Alright, heres the deal. Im sick of all this bitching and moaning about whos right for who and trying to prove each other and their mothers wrong, no offense to anyone there.
In the FFVII universe, there is ONE current couple and thats how it is going to remain. That couple is Cid and Shera. Thats it. There are no relationships in the games or movies other than that relationship.
Now, just because I want to, Im going to say why there are no relationships that are official even though there are many, many hints towards many, many couples.
Example 1
Cloud has no love. Know why? Because once he is officially associated with one character or another, fanbase is lost. The hints towards mainly Tifa and Aeris are there to please fans of both relationships. The options of Yuffie and Barret are put in there to appease other fans. Cloud will never have a set love, no matter how much bullshit proof you pull out of your a**.
Thats all I should need, because thats the most heated debate that I was a direct part of. When I decide to, Ill post up more examples.

So true, so true... *sigh* Just look at what happened to Inu-Yasha when Kikyo stopped making appearance...
Couplings aren't about hate, their about what the characters are doing, love. I know that everyone is entitled to their oppinion, and no number of debates will ever make either side right, sad as that truly is...
Still, just continue to love and support your pairings. Only thing I ever thought of, never bag on another pairing in your debates or discussions. Like, if you're a CloTi, never bash a Cleris, and vice-versa....
The only time I've ever wanted to bash a pairing was when Red, Don Corneo, or Scarlet was somewhere in the equation... Apart from that, I just learn to love my pairings and support other ones... But, eh...

Actually, I don't think I've ever seen a Don Corneo pairing!

I probably wouldn't like it though.
But I do like some Nanaki pairings. I mean, he is kinda human... >.>
Scarlet... I've seen a Hojo and Scarlet one, but that was about it.

I don't really know the character Scarlet very well though, so yeah...

YES.
I don't see the point in LTD's. Nobody's gonna change anyone's opinons. (I'll defend my couples when they're attacked though) There's just no point.

I mean, I'm aight with any couple, so long as they don't go into the anti-phase. Like I said before, I'll be your friend if you're a Cleris, don't really care, just don't be going "Cleris is way better than CloTi! CloTi is the suxx0rs!" or something. That's the only fighting I hate.... Bashing a couple, or flaming a guy... Tried not to do it in any of my explanations. I'll just say how the couple works, not how the other couplings won't work. Because, the latter is being rather mean and cold, while the precursor is being smart and insightful.

So Jhay-R and soadshuyin I guess since you guys find that the Clotif and Cleris threads are nothing but fighting you two won’t be joining my Clotif thread anymore. I mean I know I’m a Aeris/Cleris hater but all I have done is post the reasons on why I hate Aeris/Cleris but I don’t promote anyone else to hate them. I don’t post anti Cleris pictures or go into their thread posting proof on why Clotif is better then Cleris like they have done on my thread. Well anyway that’s all I had to say on the mater.

That sucks..... However, the CloTi topic also had a very heated debate that was just a smidgin closer to becoming a fight. Thing I see in these threads... Post why you like one coupling... Just don't post why you hate the other.... Show the love, keep in the hate.... Let it out on the wall, punch it or somethimg, but don't make anti-s**t. Because, then, you're no better than a Nazi.... That's why I don't post anti-semistic stuff.... Or stuff....

Maybe there should be a spicific thread for hate and you should make a rule like no anti stuff or somthing like that.
