Flerida felt her hairs stand on end at the sight of the path, her wings trembling slightly. A cry died on her lips when she saw the blur of motion that was the wolf. At Ravji's declaration, the teen could only nod her response.
Instinctively, her wings spread open, lifting her up from the ground. "Let's go." there was worry and fear in her voice, and a sense of doom grew in the pit of her stomach. Still, if the wolf truly was Medeine, she'd have to help her. She was the first person to declare herself Riddy's friend, after all.

Ravji looked surprised, yet pleased that she could fly, and nodded, expression growing solemn as he paused, touched a broken stick, and began to walk down the battered path. It was a little too forested on the trail for Flerida to fly, if she wanted to stay close to the ground.
"You can walk with me, or fly up, and see if you can spot anything."
Like other fables to help them.
[I suggest that Flerida finds Rune while she is flying, and mentions Ravji, so he'll go with her, while Ravji finds Aekepi.]

Flerida nodded, doing her best to hide her anxiety -and apprehension- about flying so high up. The last thing she wanted to do was give Ravji another thing to worry about. Concentrating her energy, her wings gave a few mighty beats before she was skybound.
After her encounter with Aurora, she had begun to fly more to strengthen her wings. Build up her stamina and whatnot. Still, there wasn't much she could accomplish in just a few weeks.
Her eyes peered at the ground below, trying to spot movements of any sort. Her sight was not as clear as she might have liked, but she did see a solitary figure moving in same the direction Medeine was. Most people would have gone to investigate, verify whether or not it indeed was Medeine. But Flerida lacked courage, perhaps if she had been with another person she would have.
However, that moment of indecision seemed to cause her wings to stiffen. And to her horror, Riddy found herself falling. Her scream caught in her throat as she tried to regain her control. Finally, a cry wrenched itself free from her.
"Ravji!"
Her wings caught and snagged on the branches before landing the feet of a young man with a seal skin.

Rune, of all things, certainly hadn't been expecting it to start raining bird ladies, and leapt backward with surprise, his yelp not entirely unlike the bark of a seal itself. Still, in Rune, curiosity and facination are powerful driving forces, and when she landed at his feet, wings snagged, he droped into a low crouch on his fingertips to give her an eye to eye look of amazement. "Hello Lady....I heard it rained cats and Dogs but I didn't know it rained girls with wings. Is that just around here?" He asked, flashing an broad grin, before adding more seriously. "Are you hurt? I'm not sure that looked like much fun but I don't really know much about flying....I mean maybe if there was water to dive into....but a tree would kind of hurt....." His expression sinks into a sort of thoughtful contemplation of this odd concept. No...he really didn't think she'd done that on purpose. It didn't really look like she'd had enough fun to have done it on purpose, which was sort of a shame. Life was -supposed- to be fun.

Flerida was not amused, she was in pain. And this person had the gall to make fun of her? She decided to ignore his words, disliking how he didn't even offer to help her. Through grit teeth, she forced herself to stand. The fall wasn't that high, but her wings ached and feathers were missing. She winced as she tucked them behind her, half-imagining her bones snapping in the process. Truth be told, her wings weren't broken, a little bloody from the branches, but nothing fatal.
Riddy was just being a worry wart. She wouldn't be Riddy if she wasn't, she supposed. "Of course I'm hurt." she snapped, irony and sarcasm were so foreign to her, she couldn't help but speak the truth. "But never mind me, have you seen a wolf go by?" she asked him, talons nervously digging into the soil.

[We're not including Arrikanez anymore, so, let's continue. Me, Ryugen, Huni.]
Ravji had heard the young woman's scream, his own name ringing through the trees, and moved quickly, with the speed, and agility of a dancer, avoiding trees. Still, it took him some time to get there. The tall boy arrived in time to see her pick herself up, and slowed, concerned silver eyes examining her wounds.
"Flerida... Is anything broken...?"
Noticing the other boy, his face brightened, and he grinned.
"Rune! How kind of Fate to place you in our path!"

((Actually the sad part is he's more likely to sound totaly serious about those questions. he's not being in the least sarcastic.))
Rune seemed himself to be either entirely unaware of the idea that Riddy's rudes were as savage as they were, or maybe just totaly immune to the tempermental and vicious little bird girls attitude, though in this circumstance, had be been aware of it, he might not have really blamed her, though for now he seemed totaly oblivious. "....Really? I was kind of wondering." he noted, seriously. There was no trace of guile in his large dark eyes, though he seemed slightly saddened by her statement for a moment. "I'm sorry. Thats not very fun.....Mmm. No sorry. No wolves....I saw a few birds though....a cricket....some fish....and a frog and an...HEY RAVJI!" He perks up instantly at the other boy's arival, grinning so brightly that if it was dark out, the area would have brightened several watts. "It's great to see you!" He beamed. "Are you freinds?" He asked, glancing between Riddy and Ravji.

((Riddy doesn't know sarcasm either, so she assumes everyone's serious and takes it against them XD)) At Ravji's arrival, Riddy couldn't help but feel her cheeks grow warm. She hadn't meant to call out his name, it seemed like it was the only thing her voice would allow her to call at the time. She nodded, doing her best to assure the tall boy that she was relatively fine.
"It hurts but I'll live." she said. When it became evident that the two boys knew each other, Riddy felt a twinge of shame that she had snapped at Rune. If he was Ji's friend, she should have been nicer in her response. But still, she couldn't truly blame herself for her reaction.
"Yes," Riddy began, unable to fight the crimsoning of her face. "I'm Flerida, and I apologize for my sudden intrusion." she mumbles, eyes downcast as her talons dig into the soil nervously.

((well they're sure a study in oposites X3)) ((Riddy: GRRR HISS)) ((Rune: WHEE! *GLOMP*)) ----
"Falling tends to be very sudden." Rune noted, contemplatively, though his eyes still sparkle with good humor. "Which can be very fun if you're diving into water, but not so much with trees. You should come diving with me sometime. Much more fun. You can bring your wolf freind if you find him!" He offered brightly, extending his hand vigorously to Fleridia. "How nice to meet you Fleridia! 'Ji Already said so, but I'm Rune!"

Ravji casually slid an arm around the girl's waist, squeezing her in a show of affection to comfort her, his black glove at contrast with her dress. His expression and tone were equally warm as he smiled at his more carefree friend, and nodded, brushing some hair from his eyes.
"Indeed we are, Rune. I am surprised to find you away from the water so soon!"
His face darkened as he remembered why they'd run into him, and he gestured off in the distance with yet another arm.
"We seek another friend, Medeine, for in the skin of a wolf, she hunts a monster."

((gah. Turns confuse sleepy brain. Sorry))
Rune ran his fingers through thick brown hair thoughtfuly, considering this as he rocked on his heels. "A real monster? Wow. That sounds really exciting..." He noted. "It is a bit earlier than normal." He agreed on the earlier part of the conversation, as though there weren't any particular issue with switching conversational direction like a fish school whirling under water. "But I was thinking... "Hey, I wonder what Ravji is doing. I bet he's could use someone to play with because he's always so...SERIOUS." He beamed at this. "You are too. Isn't he serious all the time?" He asked Fleridia, gesutring at the other boy with a shake of his head, as though this were truly one of the most rediculous things he'd ever heard of. Still, something about Ravji's presense seems to have settled Rune down on some hard to place level, and he seems maybe a bit less distracted now. "Hmm. Wolves and monsters though. I haven't seen either, but I bet we can find them if we look. How hard can it be to find a monster? I'm under the impression they tend to be rather large...."

((Yes, they are XD though Riddy'll be more likely to pass out from embarrassment if Rune were to glomp her))
"I wouldn't know if Ji is always serious, he doesn't seem that way to me." Flerida mumbles. A small smile briefly touched Riddy's lips as Ravji comforted her, but when the conversation turned towards the monster, the smile fled. "Will, will Medeine be alright? And more importantly, what will happen when we do find the monster?"

As Ravji opened his mouth to speak, a feminine cry of pain came from the trees ahead of them, along with a sudden flash of blue light. It was quite a ways away, but they were on the right path.
"We cannot rush to her... We have no idea of knowing what awaits us... We need to be counciled."
The boy frowned, once again proving his solemn nature. Was that Medeine who'd called out?
"We cannot do this alone."

Somewhere in the gloom and mist of the sylvan depths, a shadow stirs from its slumber. Shapeless, it stretches, expands in the dark fissure in which it sleeps. Awakening is slow and measured, like the butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. The spirit knows the time has come to act but begins unhurried and thoughtful. A gleaming eye pierces the darkness. He is ready. A paw steps lightly onto the stale leaves and stone and the rest follows, pulling itself out of the darkness, a wolf of enormous stature, and dark as shadows. Black on black, through the still leaves gilded in sunlight dew, he glides through the drowsy forest, beginning slow until he comes upon the hill, at which he breaks into the steady lope that carries him along like the wind. _________________________ With footfalls like snowfall, and a body of shade, the spirit comes upon his quarry with no forewarning. He slows to a walk and steps with a stately purpose from behind a large, flowering hedge, coming suddenly into view. In the light he is a soft charcoal black, a horse-sized beast with the air of all that is wild and formidable. His eyes are intense and piercing. Approaching, he seems to loom, his teeth slightly bared. “I am Domine,” he states in a deep, rumbling voice, his black lips slightly parted, “Lord and servant of the forest. I come bearing a message.” He pauses, lolling out his tongue and looking lazily from one to the other. Turning his gaze on Ravji, he squints his eyes in a feral smile. “You are seeking answers. I have something to offer you. The value of my words depends upon your interpretation of them. Listen well.” Shifting, from foot to foot, he begins: "With potent, flowery words speak I, Of something common, vulgar, dry; I weave webs of pedantic prose, In effort to befuddle those, Who think I wile time away, In lofty things, above all day The common kind that linger where Monadic beings live and fare; Practical I may not be, But life, it seems, is full of me! "
