Tasius, in a word, was sulking. His long black hair fell over his shoulders, and a sigh was uttered from his lips as he sat on a moss-covered log.
He'd lost sight of Medeine a while ago, but the main thing he was worried about was the skeletons in the web. The way they made him feel... it both disgusted and thrilled him. He was part dragon because of his fable, but yet... a part of him longed to be fully human.
And so he sat, his thoughts consuming him.

Aurora was stumbling through the woods, pants over his shoulder clutching his lute in one hand and Medeine underwear with the other. He had to find the dragon, even if he didn't really want to met the boy face to face. It ha been a long time, the last encounter he was able to lull the dragon to sleep makinghim harmless.
Maybe he wasn' as bad as he was making him out to be. "TASIUS!!" He cried out urgently and in his fretful run he managed to slip on some moss onthe forest floor and go down.
Now...wearing only a white shirt and damp boxers makes for an unsightly image when he got back up. Mud streaked his legs, his shoes had managed to somehow pop off when he went down he felt very useless at this point. But even as he snatched his shoes up and stumbeled back to standing he shouted out the dragon's name again.
"TASIUS!!"

Eyes shifting over to glare at the other, he started as soon as he saw Medeine's underwear.
And was immediately pissed off.
Rising in an instant and moving to pin the poor boy down, Tasius's eyes flared. "Do explain yourself," He hissed, eyes shifting to the underwear, and then to the mussed up boy. He had no qualms about hurting another when it came to her.

And suddenly a larger shadow loomed from the shadows, and before he knew it back onto the earth he was pressed. He looked up meeting the eyes that were flashing with anger, his hand clung instinctively to each item he carried.
Well...he wanted to find the dragon...and well...there he was. He gazed up at the dragon for a moment , his heart thudding in his chest, horrorfying nightmares rising to the surface. Until the dragon spoke. Not the usually your going to fail quote it snapped him out of his state of shock.
He struggeled pathetically in Tasius's grasp, "I don't have time to fool around." he snapped, "Medeine is in trouble. She was chasing after some monster and told me to find you." he replied crossly, it was quite possibly the boldest thing he had ever said/ did and it could very well mean his end.

Monster. Hmm. It could wait for now.
"And, praytell... what are you doing with her undergarments? It seems that you have time to fool around." Tasius growled, looming nearer until his very large fangs could be seen. He was not in the best of moods, and he hadn't wished to be disturbed.

Aurora sighed, watching as those teeth came closer, probably to rip out his throat. Lovely. He tried to retain his composure but felt a shiver escape through his body.
"You must know her well enough that when she shapeshifts she loses her clothes." he replied tartly, his envy with the boy spending so much time with Medeine tainted his words, he decided that telling the dragon boy that originally they had been swimming in their undergarments was a bad idea.
"I assumed she would appreciate having SOMETHING to wear once she shapeshifts back." He continued looking up his gaze hard like steel showing his anger. And Aurora...was not one to easily anger.
"We are wasting time, may I please stand up now? Though I don't look like much I hope to god I can help Medeine, she could be in danger and here we are acting like cop and robber." He said angerly. He had originally thought Tasius would instantly forget his ....qualms about the underwear once he told him about the monster and the danger Medeine was in.

"... she can shapeshift?" Came his stupid answer, and Tasius did indeed get off, though gave the other a serious glare. "You'd better not be lying." Curling his fingers, Tasius stared at them for a moment rather expectantly, before his golden eyes turned once again on the boy.
"... are you waiting for something, or are you going to lead the way? Honestly, you humans are something else."

Standing up Aurora forced himself not to brush the dir tand moss that was clinging to his skin. He didn't want to seem like a sissy in front of the dragon. It was strange though the dragon brought out more manliness in him than anyone else.
"Why would I lie about something that serious?" he asked trying to keep his tone level, this was Medeine close friend. Surely he...could at least be polite, noticing though the dragon's eyes lingering on Medeine's underwear alighted a new hackle raising.
Why was his gaze lingering on her under garments?? A new flood of thoughts popped into his head making him feel a bit more anxious and angry. Had Tasius taken advantage of Medeine? or was he just a lust driven monster? He tried to force this issue's from his mind. MEDEINE was in danger.
He moved forward hands gripping the items tightly, as he passed the dragon he started off in teh direction he was sure Medeine had run off to.
"Odd comment from someone part human.." he said biting his tongue from continuing on.

The dragon shifted again, seeming to think for a moment longer, before stepping back and crossing his arms. It was then that he grinned, seeming much too delighted for either of their good.
"Well then. Lead the way. I suppose you could entertain me. It isn't often that one retorts back something so visible. I like that." His wings flexed out, and he moved his arms so the joints popped.
"Medeine is a close friend of mine. I assume she trusted you, knowing her agenda."

"Medeine is..." he wanted to relpy his princess... since he was suppose to be the prince saving her from her fate, but decided against saying something like that. Dragon = tearing Auro limb from limb. an image of which popped into his head and made him feel a bit ill.
"She is a very dear friend of mine, I've known her for a long time, and don't wish to see her harmed." he finished shivering as he felt the drip drip of water trailing down the backof his legs. His pants were slowly drying off it seemed.
"Ehehe...there are a lot of things about me you may find entertaining." he replied feeling a bit more exhausted than he should. "Now i didn't have to travel far to find you, Medeine headed in that direction." He pointed west, a obvious broken trail seemed to be a neon sign reading 'go this way'

The dragon made a low thrumming sound, turning to trod in that direction, his entire frame held in such a way that one would wonder if he was holding back. His long toes dug into the earth, and he paused a moment, turning to look at Aurora with a ferocious grin.
"Get on." He ordered, hunching so the other could climb on via piggyback.

Aurora looked to Tasius like the boy had three heads. Did he jsut say what he thought he said?
"uh.....do you raelyl think you can carry both our weights?" he asked looking over the boys rippling muscles. Yah right...he probably could carry an elephant and feel nothing.

Over the group, a shadow falls. Before the sun, on a tall outcropping of rock, a black and terrible beast has risen, ears pricked, fangs gleaming. It is the shape of a wolf, but of no ordinary stature, for he stands at least four feet at the shoulder. Towering over them, his voice falls low and charged, like the rolling of thunder. "I, Domine, come bearing a message to those lost. Listen and consider." "What has roots as nobody sees, Is taller than trees Up, up it goes, And yet never grows." Without another word, he turns and sinks out of view.

Aurora was distracted as a large shadow loomed over over the pair of them. Aurora's wyes went large as a wolf the size he had never imagined possible smiled down at them.
The thing was scary and gave them a riddle before dissapearing. Auro watched as the creature left, hoping it wouldn't be back. But that was odd..didn't sphinxes normally give riddles? Aurora looked to Tasius and gave a bit of a shrug.
"Do you think that riddle is suppose to help or hinder us?" After getting nothing from the dragon he sighed and rubbed this temple.
There was something nagging him at the back of his head. He had heard this riddle before somewhere...but that didn't sound right, he would of remembered who had told him it. Chewing his bottom lip the riddle floated around his brain more.
"roots...hidden.. but doesn't grow yet taller than trees.." once again at a loss he shivered slightly. He was going to catch a cold at this rate, taking his pants he wrung out some of the water that had collected at the bottom of the legs. Wacthing the water drip he thought more. What has roots back can't grow?
Grah this was frusterating he knew he had heard this before somewhere. Still frusterated he then cracked his hands and slung the damp pants back over his shoulder. Well...what is taller than trees? Buildings...rocks can be taller....a mountian?
It clicked, Mountian. "I Remember!" he nearly cried for joy, as he turned back to Tasius. "We need to find a mountian. One that is taller than trees!" The fact that Jayoku had forced him to read 'The Hobbit' seemed to have paid off. Not that the story wasn't good, he just wasn't in the mood to read that much description.
