Hojo is the father of Sephiroth and Lucrecia is the mother where does Jenova tie in?Jenova's cells were placed in Lucrecia's body when Hojo made her preggers and Sephiroth was born,but what was Jenova?

JENOVA is the calamity from the skies.
JENOVA, in short, goes planet hopping and from what I can understand and remember, haven't played in a while, drains the life from the planet I believe? Then it advances to another planet to repeat. JENOVA is an alien in short, not an Ancient/Cetra.

i forget but someone thought that she was an ancient, but yah, what that person said, she's a calamity and drainy life stream goodness,
but why does having jenova cells screw you up inside, like kadaj and co and sephiroth?
