On October 3, 2006, Foley's attorney told the press that the Congressman is, in fact, homosexual and that he had been sexually abused by a clergyman between the ages of 13 and 15. The lawyer went on to say that Foley "wants you to know he is a gay man.” Son of a b***h. Are these guys shameless?

I'm a tiny percent glad that he came out and all cause the more gay congressmen we have the better, but what pisses me off alot is he has the nerve to do it in a moment like this! Also that he molested boys who trusted him enough to learn the structure of politics from him! scream

What scared me most about this is how the whole republican party turned their back on him in a matter of seconds, claiming they have never liked him, etc.
Really though, it was a good move on their part. A good amount of republicans would be much more willing to accept that fact that he was bad because he was molested, which at the same time supports the theory that homosexuality is only lust produced by a bad childhood-- a two in one score. Or, they could have said that one of their morally upstanding politicians turned wrong and went all perverted. It's really a pretty obvious decision on their part.

Know what pissed me off? The focus is being gay.. not that the ******** is a *****. And THAT makes it seem like gay people are perverted.. but of course if it was a straight person.. it would have nothing to do with their sexual preference.

This is being discussed in ED and the overwhelming majority is disturbed by the homosexual nature and not the ***** nature. Another strike against homsexuals by conservatives.
Most *****- even if they commit crimes of a homosexual nature- are straight.
