Do you have an idea you'd LOVE to see as a Fa'e but don't want to use yourself (or are you a Guardian and can't use another concept)? Post it here! biggrin Lurkers, if you want to adopt a concept, be sure to post here and declare your adoption, after reading through the thread to make sure nobody else has absconded with it first!

I'm going to kick this off by dropping in a concept that actually WAS sort of used for a Fa'e once - Seiya - but she's long dead. :B Her Guardian ended up wanting her for a trophy pet, and was pretty much not with the cool... ah, early 2004. Seiya was alive for all of a week before her Guardian's stupidity pissed everyone off enough that Anya refunded her and took her away. XP Anyway, she was ALLEGEDLY based off of this myth, though she admitted she basically only picked a myth so she could get what she wanted and wasn't going to even use it in her Fa'e's life. And that's a shame, because it's a neat myth from an as yet untouched mythbase. Sedna, Inuit Sea Goddess.

Aaaand I'm going to second it with the concept that was my original one. ^^ The Grim, or Gwyllgi, the dog of darkness. Also known as the Black Ghost Dog, Padfoot, Hellhound, Bargeist and various other things. Yes, its the dog that was supposed to mean the death of Harry Potter, and what they thought the dog was in the The Hound of the Baskervilles. 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 A British/Welsh myth, it's a very interesting concept, with a lot of room for a backstory. I'd really like to see someone use this ghostee. <3

Woo for Chibi! That was one of the ones I went through. XD
Let's see, suggestion...
Fat Frumos (Prince Handsome), who is a fairy tale figure and essentially the Romanian version of Prince Charming. He's an incredibly interesting character with very interesting tales, although he can be very difficult to find English sources on. Still, he could definitely be worth a shot.

Oh god, I love the Black Dog. British folktales are the BEST. Which brings me up to an idea I've always liked British/European legend (I believe there are permutations in several European countries): The Wild Hunt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_huntI've seen it used in Fantasy several times very well, including in Guy Gavriel Kay's Fionavar Tapestry trilogy, and in Peter S. Beagle's Tamsin. The Black Dog also appears in Tamsin, which is in general an excellent book if you're looking for brief insights on and introductions to Dorset folklore.

I'm thinking a Fa'e based off The Fountain of Youth may be cool. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain_of_youth I'm sure you folk have heard of it before, but there's more to it than meets the eye. There are many variations to the story, so it could eventually turn into something interesting I believe.

some concepts I looked at more closely before picking mine: Re'emJust struck me as very, VERY cool~Indrik the BeastThis one is one that'd have to be looked a little more into, as the article doesn't say all THAT much--however, what there was in the article made me perk up with interest, so um...yeah. XD;; <3

Mm, Re'em is what got me onto Bhel's concept~ He is not quite the same, though. And last time I checked, Sosi, Green_Eyes was questing for a Sedna Fa'e 3nodding And I think Tawhaki, Polynesian god of thunder and lightning, was one of the ones I looked at before I settled on the Aurochs for Bhel. Not much in that article, but what's there looks interesting. xd

Cere and I were both squeeing over the idea today (and, funny enough, had thought of it seperately), so I thought I'd put it up for consideration--
A Fa'e based off of the Garden of Eden would equal LOVE.
Future Edit! This concept is no longer available, as it has been restricted by another Fa'e.

If someone picks it up, though, it would be great if they'd be willing to work with me some. Mikhail was the guardian of Eden, so there'd be a pretty big connection there.
