Name: Kaliska
Meaning: Coyote chasing deer
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Physical Appearance: Her hair is the colour of the coyote pelt, she is very pale and has brownish golden eyes. She is normally found in a coyote like position and very rarely does she stand up straight. She has a rope around her neck which looks as if she had been tied up by an animal, it trails on the ground as she walks. She also wears a necklace of her "Parents" teeth when they died fighting. She doesn't wear much in the way of clothes just some coyote skins that she found from old "family" members who had already died. She never wears anything more then that as she holds them as great importance to her. She is always covered in dirt.
Personality: She is very withdrawn and finds it incredibly hard to talk English or any language. She is never really settled and has huge problems being around any people though she is perfectly at home with any sort of animal, deer she seems to attack though. If anyone sticks around ong enough they would find that she is a lovely girl who just wants to have fun with people, learn new things though her past haunts her and stops her from going up to people, they have to go to her.
History: She was born to a women who was a little frisky and a man who was violent. The two never made a great pair and from the beginnings of her life she had been beaten up and never really loved or cared. When she was about 6 months old her father killed her mother and dumped her in the wilderness as he couldn't kill his own flesh and blood. He then went his own way, no one knows anything more of him. She managed to crawl quite a way, eating things she found on the floor, more sucking them then anything else and it was extrodanary that a lone coyote, miles away from any sort of home found her. The female canine took the young girl and brought her up, together they struggled to survive but they did, eventually. The girl seemed to communicate with the animals in some sort of way, show howled and barked and english was nothing she knew of. She had other friends, a raven and another couple of lone coyotes they had met. They were miles from their normal territory but she had no problems with it, she had friends. She grew up with them untill she was about 13. When she was 13 there was a huge storm, her "mother" was out hunting and got trapped under a fallen tree, her two other coyote friends went missing but she had the raven, she would never lose him. After the storm had finished the two went looking for them, they found her mother and with what she taught herself she took the teeth out of her mothers jaw and tied them around her neck. She had realised her differences between her and the coyotes but she still felt like one in some ways. She was found by a humans from a tribe they took her and named her, they skinned the three coyotes and made clothes for her. She was vicious though and they tied her up with a rope. She had however bitten her way through the rope and ran off, she kept running and is now searching for her home and her raven.

How he met Kaliska and Lalit:The young girl had left her brother and Mahiri to go and fetch some firewood. She walked crouched and on tiptoes as she had learnt to when with the coyotes but for now she was indeed happy.
On her walk she headed towards the river where she was wash and drink before going along with her daily tasks but as she entered the cool water something caught her eye.
Not far from her on the otherside of the river she could see a basket wedged between two rocks. It seemed to be rocking where the water was lapping at its sides so without two thoughts she swam across to reach the basket.
The basket was grey with some strange markings, a cross was laiden on the top of it and she knew instantly it was a Soquili basket. She clung to the basket and swam back towards where she had came from, the basket in her arms. After struggling to get it out of the water she tried with all her might to carry the basket home.
Reaching the Teepee, wet and with the basket in her arms, she placed the basket by the fire and fetched Mahiri to guard it. The girl couldn't speak not raelly so she just pointed to the basket then Mahiri and smiled before going off to attempt to dry herself, she now had her own Soquili!

Likes: Having fun, running, acting 'silly', being with friends, her mate Hania and the rest of her friends.
Dislikes: Having to sit still and when people are rude to her or others
Personality: She's hyper. Alittle too hyper at that. She's very playful, and has tons of energy to burn off almost all the time. Mahiri loves meeting new Soquili's and hanging with old ones. Her favorite thing to do is run, hence the energy she has.
How she met Kaliska and Lalit: As the young indian boy ran, he come across a rather large lake. It did look nice to him, because he's been out in the wilderness for many months, practically a year now. Striping down to his underclothing, he dove into the water and swam about. As Lalit was enjoying himself, he heard a friendly neigh coming from near by. Looking up, he found himself looking at a strange colored female horse. The mare had the markings of a fox. She was eating the clothing he left. "Hey!" He said, quickly swimming to the edge to save his beloved clothes. "That's mine silly! Give it here." She seemed to laugh at him and ran aroud, wanting Lalit to chase her. She had spirit, that's for sure. "Come here!" He yelled to her, and began running around. The pair of them played the game of 'Tag you're it' for a while before the young indian boy got tired. "Well new friend. You need a name." He told the horse, "How about..." He thought for a few moments and smiled. "Mahiri, it means 'Sly' and you're colored like a fox, so it fits!" Mahiri liked her new name and wanted to run around again, but Lalit refused. Her personality made him smile, and he felt more relaxed since the day he ran from his home. "I'm running from my past, and on a quest to find a half-sister. Want to help me?" Lalit reached out to pet her on the mane and she let him. Mahiri neighed happily and nodded.
They weren't together for very long when, as Mahiri was running alone, (Lalit refused to fun anymore at that moment) came across a familiar scent. It smelt like another human, but it wasn't Lalit. This one smelt more like an animal then human. Curious, the Soquili wandered around until the scent became more clear and poked her head into a large cave. It was the cave that looked as if it belonged to a coyote. Mahiri could tell that the human she smelt was sleeping, so she trotted inside to look. Yes, it was indeed a human, but this one was female. She looked very different then the indian boy, and that mainly was because she looked older. The human girl looked dirty, liked she belonged to the pack of wild coyotes that probably lived here more then an indian tribe. Grinning, the Soquili ran back to Lalit and tried to get his attention over to the indian girl. As the two of them approached the cave, Lalit realized it could be coyotes living in there, and refused to go any furthur. Angry, Mahiri dragged him into it and blocked him from getting out. The boy looked around for a human, and when he found her, she was still sleeping. He smiled, that was probably his sister. Besides the fact that she didn't have his freckles or his flaming red hair, they looked rather similiar. She looked different then what he expected though, very different. Satisfied that he found her, Mahiri and him waited outside the cave for her to wake up, and then he'd introduce the two of them. Maybe she was friendly, or maybe she was like their father...whatever the case, he was eager to find out.
The three of them came onto the Soquili's lands, and now live peacefully in a teepee in the forest.

Personality: Artemis is a very sweet caring girl, She has never judged anyone in her life and always gives others a chance to prove themselves. She is something of a loner, not having many friends even with her kind nature, she is nervous and worries alot around others.

Personality: Bes is a rather lost boy, he is rather nervous as both his siblings are part Kalona and look alot more like one then he does. He is however a lovely boy who is great to make friends with once you have got past his nervousness.
His best friend, Christabel he loves dearly and would fight to the death to protect her if need be.

Personality: Korho is a very sensible bird, she is always with Swafi, finding each other in odd circumstances. She lives off Swafi and he off her. If it wasn't for this bird he wouldn't have a mate. Korho loves flying and fishing. She likes to fly ahead of the Soquilis, look for water or just help show someone back home.
