It's a looooong story, but, Neji was once upon a time paired with Itachi. I guess throwing him into the Akatsuki made for good plot devices. I've read a couple fanfiction like that. Even if that's not the only reason, you cant deny he looks amazing in that. ;D <3

I'm seriously considering a rewrite of the Uchiha Clan massacre, but with Neji seeing it happen in secret, then Itachi kidnaps him (seeing the hatred and ambition in his eyes) and they both end up in Akatsuki. Oh, somewhere along the way, the Caged Bird thing is dealt with.

I love Neji, and I love that pic! It's like Akatsuki was a j-rock band and Neji joined them. xd
